I don't know which country you live in but I think in many cases banks are not safe also for long term investment but i agreed comparing crypto investment banks are safe. Mastering market knowledge in the altcoin market will not help you in many cases. What will you say about the performance of projects like Shiba Inu, PEPE and other meme projects?
