Bank investment is better for the sake of avoiding risk, for one who can't afford to lose his/her investment I think it will be better to for bank investment.  Crypto is volatile,  in an  investment like this because of volatility and the risk in it. I think this is an unfair comparison. We should compare crypto to stocks, not to simple saving bank accounts.

It really depends on the person because not all people want to take a risk like we know in investing in altcoins because there are a lot of risks because of volatility, and there are also people who want a safe one like in the banks, and it doesn't matter to them if it is just a low profit or a sure profit. Bank profits is useless because they have a limited amount that only be insured and the rest of the balnce goes beyond that insured amount is at greater risk compared on altcoin investments which you have the full control of your money.

Cryptocurrency is surely risky if you will do day trade or risky trade from leverage trading but there’s a DeFi that gives you a better APY compared to bank without exposing on a high volatility risk. I get profit from crypto market with less money and my risk is less now because I have researched more about crypto market. Moreover crypto investing has freed me and allowed me to tailor my investment to my own situation. I would prefer to look at the success of day traders based on their trading over the course of a day, week or month. I would look at their trading over the course of a year. Many are hopelessly losing their deposits by then, and indulge in past fleeting successes when they occasionally managed to win. Except that within a large period of time where failure prevails, some period of time where a trader was able to make money is perceived by many as skill, when in fact it was just luck.

Never assume that the risk has gone down due to your actions, the risk and reward are for the most part correlated, so the greater the risk the greater the reward, it is a good thing that you have researched this market but the risk remains the same, you just got better at spotting it and at avoiding it, but if for some reason you were unable to do those two things then you will suffer the same fate as any newbie that came to this market, so be very careful as no one is infallible and they are bound to make mistakes given enough time and opportunities to do so.
