I have a questions? what are the things newbies should do to earn more merit, and what is the advantages of merit, also and also what should encourage the newbies to get more post.we are new in the forum so we still need, some guide so that we can meet up with our daily post.

E no get anything like "daily post", as a newbie wey no even dey campaign, no be must say you go dey steadily make posts, as a newbie reading better pass posting, because the more you read, the more you go dey learn wetin to post from what you read. E get wetin i notice say e dey affect newbies, and the thing is, dem dey rush, dem wan grab everything in a day, no go dey look some users wey still dey new but dem get penty merits, mind you that knowledge dey different and e get people wey dey understand things faster than others.

Having said that, the best way to take get merits na if you get to learn about Bitcoin and the forum too, e go help you to dey make high quality posts, and na posts like that they give merits. The advantage of merit be say you go use am rank up, and as you rank up dey enjoy yourself for forum, you go fit join signature campaign they earn incentives from your contribution to the forum.

Na true, di best way for newbies to take get merits and rank up na to learn about bitcoin, follow forum rules and di most important na to try to focus on making quality posts. Di only thing wey i go fit add from my small experience for di forum na for dem to get patience, because as a newbie or member, you fit to de try make quality posts, but merits no de come like dat. So for me, na just to de continue learning and making quality posts, gradually merits go come, because if new members focus more on merit and e no de forthcoming, na big discouragement be dat.
 
E go also de good if our senior members go de encourage di low ranked members for our local board with merits from time to time, if dem see quality posts from di upcoming ones. Except for a few members like Oga Brainboss, most ranked up members for dis our Nigeria board no de encourage and support new members with merits. Na my own experience and opinion be dat.

Your point is logical. I am also a newbie and if someone gives me merit after seeing my post, it increases my enthusiasm for my work. And when legend members explain the guidelines in code, it becomes easier to know and understand those things. However, I am more concerned about whether my posts are of quality than qualifications. Sometimes I worry that I have gone beyond the rules. However, many thanks to the legend members because they are a learning medium for newbies like us. We try to learn by following them. But we are more hopeful that they will help us learn about the forum in a more easy way.

But you know say e get plenty newbies wey don waka plenty places and them understand things for this Forum but shi shi merit dey hard to get from our area instead na international board wey them dey post dey acknowledge them dey throw them merit...you know that one?
E bad say we only dey good at advising the newbies but to appreciate the little wey them sabi to keep them here na very hard something. Charlie, e get plenty things una wey be post holders for the Forum and for our board suppose do to keep everybody here I mean with the newbies and others wey decide to avoid this place, before you know them go come back. Power wey enter una hand make una no use am against each other...our own na to look how una go handle this our board. Me I go advise if una go take am oh, make every of una wey be merit source and moderators try to do something different and special for this place, leave wetin the next person dey talk and e go better. Make we too go outside learn from these away people and bring the knowledge and ways them dey do things for this our board and una go see how the moto wey we all enter go take us higher than how we dey now.

If a newbie post good, I will merit him or her. I will try and do something about it but the newbie should post better so that he or she can be noticable.

Right now my smerit has finished and I have only 4 earned smerits left.

You are getting this wrong. According to the stat, this local board is not falling apart. Or you can prove it with stat.

Just pay attention to posts that are being merited. Bring useful contents on this forum. Also let your posts be constructive and thoughtful. Read what those that are receiving merit are posting, know their styles and emulate them to become better.

When a person is a student, he is not paid because he went there to learn. A teacher gets paid because he teaches.
As a newbie, I think that the more time I spend on the forum and the more information I absorb, the more merit I get because someone is giving me a lot of information for free.
When I am on the Bitcoin forum, I can absorb information and share it with everyone, and if that information is important to the forum members, I will get merit from it.
Merit seems like a scam to me before I have the qualifications.

If you know that you are now familiar with the forum and local board rules and can actually obey all the rules that means you don't have anything to worry about when it comes earning merit within the forum and local board because it is very simple in earning merit, all you need to do is quality post, let me break what i meant by making a quality post, let me assume that you are contributing to any discussion within the forum and local board your contribution to that discussion should meaningful that can convince the reader the points you are trying to make in that particular topic, so once you develop the habit of making a quality post and contributing with convince ideas, you will start earning merits in every of your posts.

This is true fact. I have leant a lot not by posting, but by reading how reasonable people post. For what I learnt so far, I have seen that not all post made by members are quality post most of them are of low quality, and I can never jump into a discussion without understanding what the discussion or conversation is all about, I need to flow with commenting members so I can learn from them, at times the discussion might looks strange, for this reason, I will decide not to be involved in the discussion so I won't say anything off key. In doing so I learn so many new things I haven't heard or understood for a while. Instead of me posting or commenting I will just take my time to read and gain knowledge instead. My major aim of being a member of this forum is to get enough knowledge on Bitcoin and it related, so I will not be a victim of scammers out there.

Sir i totally appreciate this beautiful and peaceful advise that you have given out, I'm always glad to see when boss like people of your caliber to issue out a word of advice and guidance how to go within the forum, this useful information is always open for every naija local board newbies should always refer to learn more and get some points from reading several posts around the local board which will be very helpful to this are still coming, and which i will personally recommend all the oga them that have make it possible for our local board stand this strong and always making out time to put in the moving train, so that we can not fall victim in any of the forum rules, and which i know as newbie is that easy but you guys have to putting in your best not be reported in any ways in this forum.
