Very disappointed with the performance of Pakistan's middle order. I don't expect such a poor performance in such an important match. After Babar Azam's dismissal, no player is able to stay at the crease. Pakistan lost the wicket of Babar Azam for 155 runs. And they lost 4 more wickets to collect only 16 runs. Pakistan lost their seventh wicket for 177 runs. Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed for 49 runs. Scoring 200 runs is now a challenge for Pakistan. India will win this match very easily. Indian batsmen are in great form right now. If the target is around 200, the team will reach the victory target by losing one or two wickets.

Pakistan gave the target only 192 runs. This target is impossible to win. A completely one-sided match. Pakistan's two openers could not play a big innings. Babar and Rizwan were batting very responsibly. But after Captain Babar returned to the dressing room for 155 runs, none of Pakistan's batsmen could stay at the crease for a long time. I never thought Pakistan's middle order would collapse so badly. My estimate was that the team would deliver at least 250+ targets. But the Pakistani batsmen played very badly. India's bowling was amazing, they took 10 wickets of Pakistan. Ravindra Jadeja played very well, He took the wickets of the best players of Pakistan. Another great Indian bowler in this innings is Hardik Pandeya, what a great bowling spell by Hardik Pandeya.

Every Indian bowler bowled well today. Each took two wickets. Bumrah picked up two wickets for just 19 runs in 7 overs. With Babar Azam out, Pakistan's batting line-up suddenly collapsed. However, in today's match we saw no improvement in Pakistan's batting and bowling line due to which they got all out quickly making small scores. In the previous two matches, Pakistan played brilliantly and won both matches in a grand manner, but in today's match they unfortunately lost to India due to poor performance. Never imagined that a strong team like Pakistan would see such a poor and disappointing batting performance in today's match. India, on the other hand, won three matches in a row and moved to the top of the points table.

This was not about Pakistan losing wickets quickly in the middle order. If you analyze, the top 4 batsmen were struggling to score freely and they were just going at almost 5 runs per over and saving their wickets. They approach this match with a defensive approach and any team who plays with this approach will usually lose the match.

Talking about the Indian bowling, they really bowled well and kept the Pakistan batsmen under check and balance. I would not like to discuss about the Indian batting because any team can chase the 190 odd runs on these batting pitches and the Indian batting did it in style.

I did not expect much from Pakistan in this World Cup. Because we saw the performance of the team's batsmen in the Asia Cup. Although there are many world class batsmen, the performance of each batsman is very erratic. But after watching Pakistan's performance against Sri Lanka in the World Cup, I thought India will fight hard. But Pakistan's batting order fell again. And Pakistan lost badly.

This was not about Pakistan losing wickets quickly in the middle order. I feel Rohit doesn't have a lot of confidence on Thakur when it comes to bowling. He is a bowler who is expensive but has the knack of taking wickets. He has been selected in the team primarily because he is an all rounder. Yesterday India didn't require his service as the other bowlers were sufficient to get the Pakistani batters.

BTW, I just saw PM Modi congratulating the Indian team on another historic win against Pakistan. He also declared that India would do anything possible to host the 2036 summer Olympics.
