It is just announced a few hours ago that Casimero will be back in the ring against another Japanese fighter in Oguni on October 12 at Ariake Arena in Japan.

The good thing about this card is that many Filipino fighters will be fighting in the undercard.

Will update the OP once there are available odds and updates about the subject.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Casimero is obviously a huge favorite in this fight because Oguni wasn't competitive anymore like he was been used in 2016 and older. Casimero should able to win via KO to impress the other, winning via decision isn't really good when he fight not with a strong boxer.

Although the fight will happen in Japan, but I don't think we will see an unfair judgements.

Yeah, it will be obviously a good fight for Casimero, this is just a step up fight for him and maybe if he win this one, he could be up next for the belt at 122 lbs, any of the current belt holder.

So we wanted to see him win here impressively, it will be good if he can score a knockout in front of the Japanese crowd and maybe he will be given the chance to fight Inoue as we have been waiting this in the last couple of years.

It will be a good hype for his career if he wins with a KO, though it's anticipated since the opponents are no longer in his prime
though the home crowd might affect his dedication to win.

It would be a disappointing loss for Casimero if Oguni will put him down and KO him in this fight, on the other side, if Casimero will win
with an impressive KO, surely he will gain more and will be more close to become a contender for the title.

If I'm not mistaken, Casimero is under a Japanese promoter, so his promoters know how to pick up a Japanese that could be a less risk for Casimero as this point so it's a good choice to go for Oguni.
And yes, Casimero is known to be a road warrior, so it doesn't matter if his fight in in Japan or some countries in Latin America. He bring everything in the table here and hopefully we want to see some knockout and impressive wins so that his name will be back on track for a championship fight or even a good fight like Luis Nery or other rank fighters in the division.

I hope Inoue will be able to watch this fight and then step up to the stage to challenge Casimero, hehe.

Well, obviously, this isn't a championship fight, and I think Casimero has a higher ranking compared to Oguni. So, I wouldn't expect Casimero to lose. Instead, I would just anticipate Casimero having an impressive victory to further fuel people's excitement about a potential match between him and Inoue.

You can check the rankings here: https://www.boxingscene.com/rankings. I don't see the name Oguni there, so it's possible that this fighter isn't well-known yet.

You are right mate, Casimero's promoters are Japanese, the Treasure Boxing Promotion. Though some stakeholders of that company might be Koreans but sure there are Japanese owners in that company so biased judging won't be an issue here and besides we all know how Casimero fights in the ring, he is an aggressive fighter that i think a 50-50 round would favor him because of his activity.

I like Casimero to be called the Japanese Slayer to somehow lure Inoue to fight him in the future to avenge the loss of his compatriot.

I hope that we really won't see an unfair judgment here.  Japan is infamous for unfair judgment.  Unless a boxer knocks out his Japanese opponent, the result will more likely be a win for the Japanese boxer.

It seems that Casimero's opponent is not as explosive as him, with an 8 KO on 21 wins.  2 losses via KO so I also think that Casimero can KO the opponent. Aside from that, Oguni had not fought for over a year and might have ring rust from inactivity.  So I think Casimero had all the advantage in this fight.

He's not a widely recognized name in the sport. Looking through his record, I noticed that all his fights have taken place in Japan. As a result, I don't believe he has faced quality fighters like Casimero has. Furthermore, he is no longer undefeated, having experienced two losses – one via RTD and another via TKO. Considering these factors, I wouldn't be surprised if Casimero wins by KO in this match.

I had hoped that Casimero would face a more formidable opponent, but this one seems to be more of a tune-up fight.

I've been trying to find the betting odds, but it appears that they are currently unavailable.

The Japanese fans are probably not cool with Johneriel Casimero calling their living legend a turtle. But still, Casimero is the main attraction here. He is actually promoted by a Japanese since bolting out of MP Promotions. Oguni is just a stay-busy fight but we're hoping Casimero delivers a good performance to bolster his reputation. Though Oguni was a former world champion, he quit fighting for 3 years already and then went for a return last year which ended in a draw against a mediocre opponent. At present, Oguni has been inactive for over a year now and he is fighting an active 3-division champion so this should be an easy win for Casimero.

Some are bashing Casimero's level of opponent but I'm just happy that he is making himself active. I am confident he will get his title shot next year so he better stay active and fit.

It's great to see Casimero keeping himself busy with his second fight this year. Hopefully, there's another one in store before the year concludes. While I wasn't aware that his opponent is a former champion, a glance at his record doesn't make it seem as impressive as Casimero's. Let's wait and see. I'm hoping Casimero will persist in calling out Inoue during post-fight interviews. Of course, this assumes he emerges victorious in this contest; otherwise, challenging Inoue would seem premature if he can't defeat Oguni.

His last fight against Fllipus Nghitumbwa was good but not impressive, People expected him to knock out Fllipus Nghitumbwa but he had a hard time knocking him out.

I expect Casimero to have an impressive win here the guy like what I posted is slow and easy to hit and is not a knockout puncher.

This is good because Casimero is having another fight again before this year ends but I'm quite disappointed because Casimero pursued a nameless boxer instead of pursuing the likes of Luis Nery to make his credentials believable and so that his ranking in WBC will also improve.

Fighting Luis Nery could've made him to secure the spot for being the challenger of the Tapales vs Inoue winner, considering that John Riel Casimero successfully upsets Nery.

Anyway, I looked up Yukinori Oguni of Japan and he seems to have the height and reach advantage but that's all I can say because regardless of what the Japanese have, I have no doubts that Casimero will defeat him. Oguni ain't even a KO boxer.

Casimero was the best boxer with huge nuumber of supporters, this game will be the come back match for him.The Oguni is the Japanese fighter was not the equal opponent to the Casimero, the match is going to held on Arena in Japan. So Oguni will have his support in the Japan and Casimero had their support in all the country. So the support also available in the Japan.Oguni just had 19 games win,but Casimero had 33wins and he is from the phillipines. The arm power of Casimero was high and his KO percentage is above 60 percentage. So this game was owned by the Casimero on October. We should wait till the October for the game, mostly the game end with the KO by Casimero.

Boxing: Casimero vs Oguni
I like boxing this time the bettor is between Casimero vs. Oguni, maybe many boxing fans want to see a new sensation will emerge in the ring, regarding Casimero's reaction to Oguni next October, I, want to see what new styles they both have, considering that Oguni hasn't been seen in a boxing ring for more or less a year, having last seen against Keita with a technical draw, I'm sure this will give boxing punters and fans a new lease on life this year.

Technically age is not an obstacle and a debate for both of them, Casimero is 34 years old and Oguni is 35 years old, this is a good adventure if they do happen next october, overall the Philippines currently has the advantage in boxing, they did really well overall, to be honest I can't help but Casimero is in a lucky position this time, when it comes to the upcoming Oguni.

I wonder how much money Casimero is going to receive in this fight, I'm sure it's more on money than prestige considering that the fight will be held in Japan, we all know Japanese promoters are generous when it comes to boxing promotion that is why boxers go here even to the point of defending their belt, like what Fulton did.

Casimero should be fighting for a legit World belt All his other contemporaries have title fights, but he is only holding a secondary belt which is the World Boxing Organization (WBO) global super bantamweight which is not prestigious compared to what he once hold.

We can understand if Casimero is coming from a loss, to take an easy fight like this but he is not, Casimero will not gain anything here while his opponent can gain a lot if Oguni upsets Casimero although its unlikley but possible.

I expect Casimero to have an impressive win here the guy like what I posted is slow and easy to hit and is not a knockout puncher.

He sure does need a steppingstone in-order to fight against the champion at 122 because his current rank alone cannot lift him up to make it happen. And I don't think that this Oguni will be a good warm-up for Casimero because he is not even approved nor named to fight the winner of the Tapales vs Inoue undisputed fight and this Oguni cannot help him to climb the ranks because not to disrespect, but this Japanese boxer is way below Casimero's league.
