Well, we have to think about saving money. We switch from expensive foods to foods that are cheaper but with the same nutrition. Because after all, health must be our priority. The increase in food prices has made it difficult for many people with low incomes to meet their daily needs. And this has become a fairly common problem faced by many people.

In my country, it is vegetables and fruits whose prices have increased quite high. So I personally even reduced my fruit purchases a little. Switch from fruit that is slightly expensive to fruit that is cheaper but still contains the same nutritional value. Because for me health and nutritional adequacy must remain a top priority. Because I have to make more money. And all of that requires a healthy and strong body.

Some people are even blaming the particular politician they elected from the past election for not doing what he promised during its campaign. Well, we have no choice but to go with flow, work hard and keep striving for our family.

Almost the majority of goods here are high-end,  nothing is cheap today, to be honest. Since we cannot stop it as consumers, the only way I see it is for us to find other sources of income to meet our daily needs. Instead of complaining that we know it won't bring us anything good, it's better to be strategic as individuals.

In addition, the whole world is experiencing this rise in the price of goods on the market. Maybe the goods are more expensive for others than here for us, but there are also others that are cheaper for them than here for us.

Is there noopportunoty to do an irrigation in your region? Irrigation is the supply of water to fields that lack moisture, and an increase in its reserves in the root layer of the soil in order to increase soil fertility.
Maybe such work could help to avoid such crises in the future.

But in general, even though inflation lasted for nearly 2 years, the people of my village did not encounter too many difficulties because they could produce their own goods such as rice, eggs, and vegetables...I'm not saying their prices haven't increased, but in my opinion they haven't increased significantly.

Well, that is really how the people voted, so we have nothing to do with this but just find a source of income that can make us a living because right now all foods, even the cheapest ones that the poor can afford, are getting expensive, like vegetables. They can't now buy or sometimes get them for free because they are expensive. I also don't see any price drop in the future, and I do really hope that the price of rice will get back to its original price because it will be difficult if this continues.

It is true that every region has significant food needs because each region is also able to produce significant food products, both in volume and in quality. For example, here in my country, each region is known for producing different food products, some are known for producing rice, and some for fish and other seafood. Such a thing is the reason why local trade happens, our region exports foods that are produced here to other regions while other regions do the same to our region. In most cases, locally exported products have higher prices, like in my area, seafood has higher prices while in the area where my mother lives rice and meat costs are higher. However, when inflation hit, it seemed as if it didn't matter what your area is rich in, all prices of food and necessities skyrocketed and what I usually spend for a month's worth of groceries is now being used to suffice 2 weeks' worth of food.

You cannot compare all farmers, they plant different crops, some will have a good harvest, some will have a bad one, but farmers in any case bear greater risks than distributors, since they can plan at what price they will buy goods from farmers and at what price they will sell it.

I would guess that it is not simple to be a farmer because of the risks, but you are doing a job that has absolutely no qualification at all so it should not really be as simple as "get some seed, plant it, water it, harvest it, profit". That is of course not possible, there are huge corporations that buy nearly island size plots of lands to farm and ranch, so they could make millions and millions of dollars from it and that is why a simple farmer may not have the equal chances.

This is a difficult job as much as any other job, distributor is getting risks as well and it should be important for the future to be not that easy to handle, I think it would have been an important thing to do and would be better in the end.

Inflation caused the rise of price and then it was starting to settle down. It also dropped down a bit in the past. But it is starting to get up again. I am sure it is not because of the inflation for sure. Because it was over, well kinda. But that should have led to a stable or lower price again. That's not what happened. There was an incident that took place a few days ago. I guess others can agree on this.

There was this syndicate that was working to raise the price of a particular food item. What you were able to get for 50 tk per kg, went to 1k tk per kg. Imagine that. What they were doing was, creating a shortage in the market by storing that item in the storage. Buying at low to store and then releasing a portion in the market with a higher price. I am not sure if that's what happening there but there could be another reason. Like they farmed those items during inflation and they are not getting the price they were hoping for after inflation. Maybe that's the case. I donno.

It for sure did. In the Philippines stuff doesn't usually cost much compared to the rest of the world, but since the newly-seated president's regime we're slowly getting fucked in the prices here. Rice which is a staple food of many in my country have become so expensive people at the highest seat of power are already looking for alternatives, while the rest are pointing fingers as to whom to blame for the lack of action. Since August in my country, the price of food, especially food staples such as wheat, rice and others, has experienced a very high price increase. This was apparently caused by the ongoing drought. Which makes several areas of plantations and rice fields fail to harvest due to lack of availability of water to water the plants. Well I don't know which country you're from, but I must say that my country might be worst because the inflation isn't just about foodstuffs but life in general as almost tye price of everything has skyrocketed and the cost of living is already almost unbearable.
Well I know that, there are also people or sectors who thinks they're in profit from this whole inflation issue but I believe they haven't considered  the other areas of life where all the profits they make are also spent there and I believe one of the major reason my country is suffering from high prices in commodities is because of monopoly and there is a recent news though not verified of a bag of cement been sold for $4500 in my local currency and the same cement from the same manufacturer is exported and sold to a neighboring country at a cheaper price of #1500 when converted to my local currency and I really felt bad when I heard of the news.

Things are increasing everyday here and there is nothing the government are doing to make life easier for everyo6. Inflation had increase Manny times and we still don't know when another one will be added. We are all waiting for when the masses are going to match out and fight the government for making life hard for her citizens. Prices here in the United States for groceries (food/drinks/etc) skyrocketed about a year ago or so now where we had a 40 year high in the rate of inflation, in particular food was his about as hard as anything. Certain “sectors” of food such a seafood were often up as high as 80% from their year before sale price.  Since inflation has started to come back down a bit, prices have also fallen a bit, but they are certainly not back to “normal”, nor do I think they ever will be.

nowadays we've lost 30% of purchasing value compared to before pandemic, that already show how significant the inflation is.

Yes, what you say is not wrong, inflation may not cause much damage in rural areas, but in urban areas it has a very serious impact. Not only are commodity prices rising, but the bankruptcy of companies leading to mass unemployment is also taking place in major cities of my country.

Inflation is not caused by war or pandemic but is a process that lasts many years and unfortunately it happened at the right time of pandemic, war.
