I don't understand horse racing betting, I don't like it even though I only briefly see news about horse racing but never delve into it.

In its own country, horse racing is not very popular, any sport involving animals, maybe this bet is more popular in Europe and America, while what I know is that Asia is not so interested in it.
One sport that is generally popular is football, as a fan I also place bets and often play on this sport.

Talking about betting funds it varies but I don't have more than 2mBtc, only .5mBtc which I often allocate for soccer betting.

This will be great if you can add a play by play summary about the race so that bettors will have an idea on what’s happening with the race. I remember playing on some sportsbook that offering dog race, They provide live stream of the game that makes the betting experience enjoyable since this type of sports is not being broadcast frequently.

I think this generation does not really give in to horse racing compared to the older generation. Come to talk of it, I think it is just an old fashioned sports that is losing attention to the new generation. Aside that, the possibility why people do not think or give in to this particular sports is that the sports pattern is an outdated one and hence not attractive as well.

Myself I have not seen a horse for sometime now probably because I don't go to places I could see them lately at least places like the zoo but dogs are more common to see around and to know what capacity they could be used including sports and gambling. In my case, I've always tried to bet on things I watch, know and like watching. I don't bet on horses for the same reason I don't bet on cricket. It's just not a popular thing where I'm from and I never enjoyed it.
When I talked about sports with random people in my area they're usually fans of football and volleyball. Some, rare cases like basketball and some, like me, contact sports, mainly MMA, boxing, muai thai...
I feel like it became a reality for all of us to bet on sports that we enjoy. I don't know anyone who doesn't like football but bets on it, and the other way round, someone who loves football and gambles, but prefers to bet on something he doesn't watch, like tennis.
 

Not planing on doing that, I will just run out of my own funds as it's just for my own entertainment, just as I still pay for a diablo server despite not playing there for almost two years, I just like that chaat and the guys meeting there.

If it's free to enter, yes, perhaps it will attract lots of attention. People can just throw random shit anywhere and hope for the best, so they can also do this on a tournament/prediction game that you will hold with your own funds.

Another yes. Clicking a few links and reading a few lines of text about the game will be enough of an incentive for those who are looking to get the prize money. It may not be a 100% certainty that people will be winning though, but taking chances is what gamblers do anyway. Plus, the requirements are pretty easy.

Horse racing is very popular on oldies because my uncle is still into it u til now. I think most of the forum member hanging out on gambling board are Genz or Millennials which is why they preferred the popular sports over this animal sports that is not widely available globally.

Horse racing is very hard to win since it’s betting option consists of multiple choices that more than the typical 2 option. I believe it’s very rare for a young one to have a passion on horse unless their family is involved on it or they are from the community that this sports is popular.

Probably, horse racing is not popular and is not played anymore these days because we have modern gambling games that are introduced in the gambling market. And these new games are much easier to bet or played for than betting on a horse racing which I think gamblers these days find it already old and boring. Possibly your assertions  with respect to your locality might be true and correct based on your experience and findings. If such happens then we should know that is just one amongst the numerous reasons why the horse racing seems fading away.

Most times the environment matters too to contributing to the availability of horses in a region. For instance, here in Africa, my country to be precise there are no much of horses. Some zoo even have no horses to watch out for. Africa as a whole I think do not prioritise horse racing that is why it seems Africa is not on the list of horse racing. Moreover, there are some horse disease too prevalent in Africa that makes it seems horse racing is not effective here.

i believe that most horse racing bettors are enjoying to bet it via physical watching of this race. or a lot are also watching via screen. hence, very few are betting online without watching the race either physical or virtual. the excitement is different when you are watching the race even if it is on screen. but some online bookies may already be offering some live streams. for online bettors who are not watching the race, for sure, they are already familiar with those entries.

The unpopularity of horse racing may have contributed to the advancement of technology and the application available on the internet plus the casinos that host events.  In my place horse racing is popular among the oldies but the lack of access to the internet and the advertisement that promotes it make it lag behind.  If the casino starts promoting horse races then it may probably come back to its popularity but I really don't know why casinos and bookmakers are not so fond of promoting such gambling events.

Maybe if you gamble a lot and want to try a new thing but an average sports bettor who has $100 or less a month to spend and can find more than enough things he or she likes and knows a thing or two about will not try to find new things unless there's money to be made from it.

I think I could get into it if I had someone to introduce me to the sport. If I were to do it only for myself, without having anyone to talk to and enjoy it with, I'd end up betting on the things I'm familiar with.
I guess a betting game could work as an incentive.

I mostly bet sports but do bet a little on horse racing. It's a good a idea to get something going here.

If we take a recap, there are lots of threads talking about horse racing and questioning whether it's ethical or not. There are even threads related to that, if I remember correctly, that horse racing is a form of animal cruelty. Many people have shown different opinions regarding that.

Yes, I do bet on horse racing and have a bit of knowledge about it. I lived in a community where horse racing operators were only a few blocks away from our home. However, I don't know the current status but some of them are still closed today. Maybe shift to online operation. Not sure though.

As for your plan, we will only know the result once you make it live. For example, I opened up a Mobile Legends Tournament even without doing a survey if many users are playing that game. Some show interest when I make it live but most of the challenges do not end up in a real match.

I loved horse racing with a passion.

But I became a compulsive gambler and no longer bet anything at all.

My grandad was a compulsive gambler

  I watch so many races at Aqueduct Racetrack that if I was in my favorite seat and the finish was too close to call I could call a dead heat and be right every time.

Never enjoyed betting on any games that is termed cruel. You van search the internet and you find the cruelty of horse racing. Both the jockey and the horse are at great risk of getting injured while racing. There have been incidents reported in the media where these young colt have died due to racing. In such situation how can anyone bet on such a game. It is far better to bet on sports like football and others. It's is nothing but my choice that I avoid gambling in such games.
