On the other hand Argentina covered 87.2 km distance, 1.47xG , 1 big chance created and scored by Messi and a total of 10 shots. Argentina committed  13 fouls and 27 tackles. Messi is an incredible player, despite his age he have a good physic, stamina and good speed. He deserve this hattrick and deserve to become the best goal scorer of the world cup of all time. I only add my consideration that the goalkeeper is not a real good player, he was the third goalkeeper of Real Madrid some years ago but he has commit some errors.

The Argentina game was very entertaining and I must say that Lionel Messi was all over the pitch and deserved the goals he scored. Despite the controversy surrounding his tack on the Algerian player, he performed real good. France too played good football as Kylian Mbappe gave fans what they payed for. Unlike today, I just finished watching Portugal's game and lost the interest in watching anymore game today. The disappointment and boring nature of the game was so unbearable. The Congolese coach's 5-3-2 formation killed the game, the defence was water tight and Portugal couldn't register more goals until Wissa shared the points with his header.

Christiano Ronaldo couldn't impress his fans today just like other star players have tried to impress their fans already. Perhaps, his first goal would be against Uzbekistan of which they must have to win the game to stand a chance. Bruno Fernandez was not impressed with the connection, he couldn't play his full game because Ronaldo wasn't flexible enough to react swiftly. Certainly, age is setting in on his side.

Seeing these results, I am starting to worry about the French national football team because I consider it as a top tier European team..

You are right. The starting game of any team might be tricky just like the opening rounds in each league, you might see top teams dropping points against teams almost relegation in the season before.
There is the famous option of Argentina in the group stage against Saudi Arabia and how they ended winning World Cup in Qatar in 2022.
Nevertheless, this trend of so many upsetting results is weird. I can understand a failure of a team, two, maybe three but here we count the opposite, it is like how many team won while being the favourite one before the match.

They don't have the kind of squad to be considered clear favorites against anyone. I'm glad they're winning 1-0 now, and I hope they're strong enough not to lose

Yea, that's a perfect example there with the Qatar 2022 World Cup, at that time when Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia in their first game of the tournament, no one would have believed that same players would take Argentina to th final stage to win the Cup but they did. I like saying football is unpredictable because results are not to anyone's control,.and by luck or personal improvement a team can come out with the best results they never had from onset on a competition.

Czech republic and SA draw against each other and get a point in their 2nd matchday of the WC. Now both teams are standing in the danger zone 3rd and 4th respectively with 1 point each.First 2 teams will qualify for next round.In the 6th minute Czech scored an early goal by Sadilek . Overall SA dominated with 62% possession ,1.38 xG 1 big chance created and 17 total shots. Czech with 38% possession,1.02xG 3 big chances created and a total of 14 shots. SA won a penalty in the 83rd minute and Mokoena scored that and got a point for their team. Mokone was named as player of the match for SA. Now SA will face Korea in the next match and if  they win they will get to play in the next round and both Czech and SA will be eliminated from the group stage.

It's actually a World Cup event that's open to play with equal opportunities for all qualifying nations and while some nations could be taken to be most popularized favourite teams, I think there should be others who would tend to make additions to those lists of favourites to win the tournament even though some are specially picked as favourite base on squad depth. Perhaps, this or something else, I don't know, could have prompt my inclusion of the Czech team... for nothing absolutely special to say

If Haiti had beaten Brazil it would have been a huge joke, so I, and I believe everyone else, already expected this victory for Brazil. For example, I bet on Germany, which beat Ivory Coast yesterday, and this bet paid off, giving a slight boost to my bankroll, which had suffered a bit from the bet I made on Netherlands. BTW, I consider Germany to be one of the contenders for the World Cup trophy. What do you think?

I don’t really see how both teams could be compared in that game, but I have come to understand that Argentina have more firepower in attacks, and they’re better than Algeria in all angle in the field of play, the Argentina attack is very strong, the midfield is also very strong, all round game of Argentina is very good so there was no way that I think that Algeria would be a better team compared to What Algeria is doing, there is no much big names in the Algerian team, however I have never see any team that plays so good in this World Cup compared to Argentina, well I think England is a very good team and I’m impressed with how they’re playing, but I’m more impressed with Argentina playing style.

Yea, Germany is a strong contender as well, and am just realising I didn't include that team in my first three selects. This team has excellently won two of their games, the first which was an easy one while that of Ivory coast didn't come on a tray platter. It was almost looking like Ivory coast were going to surprise the world on scoring that early minutes goal but at last Germany overpowered.

Türkiye like many other countries close to them in the middle east are showing incredible bad results in this competition. I agree with you that Turkish national football team is the weakest in its group. Even Italy is way better even if they failed to proceed in the World Cup for successive seasons.
In fact even the other groups are quite hard for them. Maybe group A2 is OK if we put Türkiye instead of Germany or Netherlands

Your team is not even scoring a single goal in WC even until the got eliminated. It's way worsen than you think. Even Curacao who played in their first world cup was scoring. So your team is in far worsen than Curacao now. I guess the problem is that in Montela.
Montela is poorly executing his players. He's unable to manage his player well. His team performance in Euro was just fine. However, it's such a degrade to see his club even leaving earlier than what i've expected in WC.

Unless your country is sacking Montela and get a proper replacement for him. You're doing it right by having 0 expectation for Nation league.
Keeping Montela makes your team has no chance to win against France and Belgium, maybe an exception for Italy.
