Obviously having more than one degree means your qualification is becoming higher as well so the chance of getting a job with better pay is also higher. I believe that there are always opportunities but it is for us to look for them depending on our level of determination.

Let's say you live in a place where employment is low so it's like the place has few businesses and companies. If someone wants to work near their home then it is better to take a degree that is more inclined toward the existing opportunities.

But in a perfect world, we should take a degree based on what we love and the existing skills and interests we have. So provided we are having difficulties looking for a job in our local place then we need to risk and travel elsewhere in order to find opportunities that will fit with our degrees.

I believe that the ability to make money is the ability to act and take advantage of the opportunities that are now available. There are guys who, even without a higher education, are capable of achieving excellent results in business, and there are those who have two or three higher educations, but they occupy low positions at work and think that they need another education to earn more. The ability to make money is the ability to find opportunities that always exist.

I agree with you that the ability to make money is that they can take advantage of every opportunity that exists and look for opportunities that can generate income and I often see people like this, they don't have a high level of education so if they get the opportunity they will try it and for those who have of higher education, of course they choose the opportunities they get so that they pass them by without trying them first and they will not know the extent of their abilities. I think having a high education cannot guarantee that they will have a high income, you are right. Those who can have an income are those who have the ability to find opportunities and look for opportunities so they can try them.

If you really don't want to pursue your academic thing I guess you've missed some part, still ideal to get a degree because this is your assurance that can be use in the future, lets say you take into another path, those path is not related on yours and you failed, of course, you want to try something and possible failed again, you can use your knowledge and skills with your degree so you can still have a possible source of work and income but if you still cant manage and make it fail I guess there's something wrong with you. The problem is that the overall level of the higher education system today has dropped significantly. It is all about standards and time of education. Express education does not give deep knowledge, so a person gets superficial knowledge. At the same time, the cost of education has risen sharply, and many people simply cannot afford to get deep knowledge.

Depends on which country you expect it from. Unfortunately, many prestigious private companies realize that a degree can't measure a person's level of professional proficiency, it only allows him to gain theoretical knowledge (that is, if he is serious about his education). In some developing countries where the practice of nepotism is very strong, someone can achieve academic degrees even though s/he has never stepped foot on the campus floor.

Yes, it does. There is a vast difference between holding a degree and holding a post-doc for that matter. The knowledge level is different, the skill set is different. A PhD holder person will always get a very high source of income or their hourly wager starts at a very high peak. If there is a chance for anyone to get a higher education qualification then they should always go for it.

Now, there are peeps who get more knowledge based on their experience in the practical field however academics can furnish a mindset to a very different level. It also depends on which background you come from. For example, this could be an entirely different case for the engineering background while it could be another for the PhD holder in life sciences.

Having a diploma that you graduated from college is a great achievement for a person. But that is not an assurance for you to have a good profit in the future. It may help you to get a job locally where you are located or even in another country to work, but that is still not a ticket to reach your dreams in life.

Because it usually happens that the only people who achieve their dreams are those who have businesses or make money through various methods of investment, trading, and so on, but not just by having a job. Here in our country, every year the number of unemployment increases because every year the number of those who graduate from college increases and not all those who graduate get jobs, and this happens in all countries for a long time.

I imagine the importance of getting a degree varies from country to country. In my country, I'd say it's important to go at least through a Bachelor's program because many intellectual (non-manual) jobs will require higher education, although it often won't matter where you studied or even what you studied, unless it's a job that's very narrow and specific to a certain degree. Getting more degrees doesn't help, but sometimes getting further in one degree (doing Master's, sometimes even PhD) can be required for more senior positions.
Ultimately, I think people should study what's of interest to them and how much it's of interest to them, and then try to find jobs that are at least remotely engaging with whatever the person studied.

Get more degrees and then what? Do a 9 to 5 job with an income that can hardly provide for half a month? Remember, salary is a drug that your boss gives you to keep you away from your dreams. Seeking knowledge is never a bad thing. The more you learn the better you become. But knowledge is not everything in life. Do you think that what you are doing, others are not? The competition is so high. Millions of people are doing the same thing that you do every day. How many of them are successful?

If you really want to do something in life or become more successful than most of the men, then do something that they are not doing. Start small and gain experience. Use that knowledge to push yourself more. Dream big. There's nothing that's stopping you from dreaming. Even if you are unable to make that dream come true, give it all you've got. Getting a higher degree enables you to get a high paying job. Education they say is the bedrock of any society, so having a good higher degree no doubt give you a leverage to a good paying job.
But it doesn't just end there, so what if those jobs doesn't come as expected, what role will your education now play.
Education enablers you to think outside the box, it allows you to be creative and be idealistic.
So hence your educated and those jobs are not forthcoming, you can improvise and sort for capitals and start a business of your own and be an entrepreneur using your educationan skills on your own business.

1. Thinkers, philosophers, writers, theorists, .... These are often seen as almost useless "specialties".  But they give rise to entities that we, the "productive part of the population", often don't think about - we don't have time "for these little things", and "nonsense"  But sooner or later we come to questions to which we have no answers, and often no opportunity to try to find them ourselves. That's what we need people to do this difficult work for us. This is what those people you are talking about are doing.

You can't use that at the same time. Just one degree is enough for you to say that you are financially stable, but there are still many people out there who have not finished their studies but their lives are still good. If you have work experience and you have graduated, that's even better.

Yes I agree, that's exactly right, nowadays it is indeed increasingly sophisticated, especially in the field of technology which is increasingly dressed and all digital. Many people complain that they find it difficult to get a job, actually the real fact in my opinion is not that they find it difficult to find a job but they themselves are limited in terms of skills, in fact there are many large companies that need labor but they need someone who already has basic expertise in certain fields, and it is quite difficult to be able to find some candidates who match the qualifications needed. In addition, it is true that the higher your educational qualifications, the greater your chances of getting a job that suits you and is worthy. But sometimes it is not uncommon for some of those who have higher education but do not have any expertise in some fields, because maybe they are not serious in applying some of the learning that is in their college, it often happens, so the unemployment rate is now not only about those who only have low education but even those who have higher education are not uncommon those who are unemployed.

On the issue of the higher unemployment rate, I honestly wouldn't blame the government, and they also can't fully blame the government for for example the government's lack of attention in creating employment opportunities, because obviously if they have the skills then they will be much needed by several companies.

On the time that you do see that the employment rate on your country is low then you would definitely be looking in other countries if we do speak about job opportunities and since you do have that multiple degrees which other people does have rather than on single one then we know that opportunities arent really that limited into your place or country which there are other door of opportunities in other places.It is really just that the competition is really high and this is why it would really be needed for you to be that competitive if you do really like for yourself to be that getting hired plus we know that not all people who do have those achievement would really be securing out a good paying job and this is why some people dont bother themselves on finishing their studies on which i would say that its not really that a good idea. Everyone has what makes them feel accomplished in life, to some people reading and attaining more degree is what they consider to be accomplished while others getting money is what they consider to be successful. Some of those users that you see reading and attaining more degree are doing so to position themselves in a good position for when an opportunity comes. The opportunity could be job offers outside the country as some companies are now targeting third world countries for employment because people there are cheaper to pay and the jobs can be done remotely too. Some study so when they leave their country they'll be in a good position to secure jobs outside the country while others are just to studying because they love doing so or they don't have any hopes again and looking for what they'll use to kill time while they wait on miracle but still the obvious answer to your question is no because majority of them waste their whole life getting degrees that aren't useful in the location they find themselves.

Both in a state where the employment rate is high or low, having just one qualifications isn't the right thing to do because the world is constantly evolving and job requirements are changing. It'll be an advance to you if you learn both academically and acquired skills that you can rely on if things don't work out as you have planned. Jobs will keep reducing as machine are been used for things human power were been used before so getting yourself equiped with skills ranging from one sector to another is needed to be employable. A degree isn't equivalent to financial security. Why? because what I think of a degree is just a long course award for yourself, more of being an expert in a single field.

I must say having a degree, or a number of degrees is setting your bar higher making you more qualified for a lot of jobs. You get better chances in the short term, but not necessarily mean you get a better life. Having a lot of degrees is also a responsibility to keep the knowledge you learn and utilize it leveraging your skills to get that job you wanted and make $$$. But have you ever thought if there's a successful personality that has a single degree? We should not forget that knowledge is power. Nowadays, companies often prefer people with practical experience over just having a degree. But having both knowledge and experience is the best. It helps you stand out in the job market. So,no knowledge is wasted. Getting a good job also depends on how well you connect with others.

I agree with this, companies are always looking for those who have experience and have completed their studies.
It's really hard at the beginning especially when you're a fresh graduate, you don't have a choice in your salary but once you gain a few years of experience there you can say that you're financially stable. You can say that you are confident about your financial situation. But don't get me wrong, I know there are people who didn't finish their studies but their finances are also stable, while others are already rich.
