Getting a degree does not necessarily guarantee success, rather your success depends on other factors, such as your skills, hard work, and dedication. It can help you determine how you want to lead your life, but it is not the only reason for your success. A degree can help you gain valuable educational experience, but it is not entirely dependent on determining your life's earning path. It depends on your knowledge, skills, interests, and circumstances. You can achieve any kind of future success in your career, you can carefully improve your professional skills and qualifications.
Of course, a degree is just a sign that we got a decent education. It surely doesn't guarantee anything, we can't automatically be successful in this life after we get a degree. To be a successful person with proper income, we must get good jobs. A degree can help us to get good jobs, but not every jobs can't be determined by a degree. There are some jobs that require applicative skills and proper experience, it doesn't care whether someone has reached a degree or not. Sometimes knowledge, skills, and experience become more important than having a degree. That's why we can't rely on a degree only to get a good job, we must ensure ourselves that we have sufficient knowledge, good skills, and enough experience.

Getting a degree is one of the traditional way to determine a success of a person, but I agree with you that this is not a necessarily guarantee a person's success. Based on my observation as I've been working in a corporate world that having a degree or not, you'll ended up having a same job and basic salary offer in every company. Regardless of your education attainment, once you're already working,  the only way for you to promote in a higher level is your solid work experience, dedication, passion, knowledge and Skills that you might have. Also, There's a lot of individual who has a successful career even if they already stop going in a University/College, Their strong ability, mindset and skills helps them to achieve the stability that they want in their life.
Whenever you do have a degree then there's something that we do called that kind of ego and pride on which you would really be that having with you since you do know that you have finished studies on which it would really be that a normal feeling but we shouldnt really be that making yourself that entitled because success is never been that determined when it comes to this on which we know that there are people who havent been able to finish studies but do made their lives successful and this is why it would really be that wise that we shouldnt really be making some degrading into other people just because they dont have a degree or something that do talks about having no educational attainment. Success wont matter on that thing but it would really be definitely an
advantage for you considering that you do have that kind of background.

So that's it, we need experience. Meanwhile, to gain experience, of course we must first have worked or be accepted to work at a company. Meanwhile, getting into a job is sometimes not easy. That is, apart from insight and skills and also a higher education diploma. we also need relationships and sometimes money. I think it's like a circuitous road. But despite all that, stay focused on the things we are interested in, develop talents and continue to look for good relationships. Working on the side to raise money and such. If we are lucky we can even open our own business rather than just working for other people or other people's companies. Everything is not easy. But if we continue to try well and consistently then I am sure we will eventually achieve our goals and dreams.
In the end, it will all come down to the fact that you will have to work for the sake of experience at some not very good job, and only after some time will you get a better job. I was once lucky because I was hired without work experience, right after university, because my friend who work at this job, gave a good recommendation about me, although the mandatory requirement was to have work experience in this position.

But you are right that those who enter a job not because of their abilities or skills but because they only rely on insider connections and money, then in the end sometimes they will not be able to last long in that job. Because still forcing ourselves in a field that is not our expertise is not easy. Especially large companies that really need people who really have expertise in certain fields that the company needs. So never give up for those of us who don't have insider connections or anything like that. enough for us to continue to hone our skills and expertise. Because if we can have skills beyond other people then we won't be the ones looking for work but there will be jobs coming our way.
the problem is that you most likely will not be hired without the necessary knowledge, or experience in working in a similar job.
this is true especially in my country where most jobs require a certain educational attainment you won’t even be hired in a fast food restaurant if you didn’t finish high school i know there’s some things that require you to have basic knowledge that would have been taught in school in order to work in fast food restaurants but still this makes it harder to find even a part-time job

Quote
even if you have education but no experience, this can also become a problem.

this has always been my worry especially for those who had just graduated again I understand that people with experience are more appealing to companies but how else will fresh graduates gain experience if they’re not being hired?

Well that's more certain, in the end it is whether you are lucky enough or not in terms of getting a job, basically yes I also agree that when you want to enter a company then the main requirement in general is that you must have experience in that field, it is a general requirement applied by almost all companies. And yes, usually to achieve such experience, you must first work in a job that is not very good but gives you good enough experience to then become your capital to enter other companies that are bigger and more promising.

In addition, one way that can be used as an alternative is like your experience, you are lucky enough to have friends who have already worked at the company, you have an insider who can help you get into the job. Basically, finding a job is quite difficult and the problem is usually due to the factor of insufficient or unqualified experience and besides that luck also has an important role in these conditions.

It seems that the level of education required by fast food restaurants in your area is also not that high if every worker who will be accepted there only has to have an education at secondary school level. And this also still applies in my area where the average worker in a fast food restaurant whose profession is as a waiter has only completed a secondary school education. However, this should not be considered equally in other jobs because companies or restaurants or small cafes are always looking for workers who match a person's skill level as evidenced by the person's level of education.

New graduates will also look for experience in different jobs in different places because not everyone has the same skills and likes working in the same places as other people. Although state officials must also make efforts to create new jobs for their citizens if there are sectors that can be utilized by the community. Although some people are also able to create jobs for themselves by opening small cafes around markets or in places that are busy with everyone.

I don't know where do you live. In the most developed countries, the educational system(universities and college) is slowly turning into a scam. The students have to pay absurd tuition fees and get into student debt only to find out that's it's hard for them to get a good job after they graduate. Having a university degree makes sense only if you want to pursue a career as a government clerk, lawyer or doctor.
If you want to work in other industries(in the private sector) having skills and experience are more important than a diploma.

In every country, education is business nowadays. In developing countries, coaching and tuition are unnecessarily expensive. And between students, there is unhealthy competition. All this pressure is one of the reasons for the increased suicide tendency among students. In developed countries, they are trying to attract students from developing countries. When these countries conflict with developing countries, one of the major concerns is that students will return to their countries. And I really don't believe getting a degree will secure your life. But education will definitely somehow change your perspective, no doubt. The primary reason for making poor people's lives easier is education. Education is important, but we can't bear the dirty business behind it.

Most people who go for more degrees believe they can get better job at the end of the day. People that only go for more degrees in a stare with high unemployment rate are they doing right thing by putting all their focus on academic because this is the only thing they can do best.
We should tell people whenever we have the opportunity and those who care to listen that if you must pursue higher academic pathways, they should do it for an intrinsic purpose rather that for financial gain. The reason being that you would get so disappointed when you notice that your BSc and phd doesn't really matter in the world of tech. What matters is how good enough you are. They'll pick 10-year old programmer who is the best in the world at coding that a PhD hold computer scientist without any practical coding skill.

Pursuing more degrees can be tempting when job opportunities are scarce in your region. It's not unusual to hope that higher education will lead to a better financial status. However, take the time to research the job market in your country and region, look for industries that are experiencing growth, and find out if they value advanced degrees. The way I see it, employers often value practical skills and experience, so think of any alternative paths to gain those. Also, consider your personal goals and passions because education should align with your interests and long-term aspirations.

If you are a degree holder or have completed your education, obviously you can get a job, but there is a lot of competition because there are also many applicants looking for a job. That's why the minimum wage is not the same for everyone.

Due to the difficulty of applying for applicants and the many who graduate every year, the chances of you being accepted immediately by the company we apply to are very high. For first-timers, this is okay, but for those like us who understand the crypto space, of course not.

I was once lucky because I was hired without work experience, right after university, because my friend who work at this job, gave a good recommendation about me, although the mandatory requirement was to have work experience in this position.

it is always best to have your degree to compete among those applicants in the job market. but hey, if you happen to start your own business and slowly grow it, you don't need a degree but passion, dedication and hard work would be enough to survive. but educating yourself on the business you are involved with will be a very good advantage to improve how you manage such business.
but for those who are not into business, degree and further studies would be your weapon to strive and find better jobs.

Also, consider your personal goals and passions because education should align with your interests and long-term aspirations.
i believe if job opportunity is scarce for those that got bachelor degree, getting master degree would find yourself finding opportunity to be even rarer. I think thats the case with misconception of getting higher degree will means getting better opportunity, the fact that there's such thing called overqualified means those job opportunity which pays a little less might not open up to those that have earned such degree and afraid that the overqualification will just bring those people with master degree into lazily working, though this is purely just opinion.
i'd argue that its better to hone skills and use the existing degree and build up career from the very bottom and then getting master degree for the sake of improving career afterwards because that way it will be more smoother in your career.

Let me add a little... What is difficult is how the job applicant (who is educated) enters and passes to be accepted for a job when there are rarely job opportunities in his area as a first stage, then after that his performance and higher education will speak for themselves and then it will produce good financial status by itself. I think this is quite relevant and we can see it everywhere, both government and private agencies.

Higher education may not directly impact the final outcome, but you should know that the smarter someone becomes, the more they increase their chances of landing a decent job with a good salary. Do you place too much trust in a motivational speaker who pushes their luck into the public discussion? Yes, luck can favor those with lower education levels, but that's only a 1% chance. Are you still confident in such odds?

Elon Musk completed his studies at the University of Pennsylvania, Jeff Bezos is a graduate of Princeton University, Warren Buffett pursued his education at the University of Nebraska, and there are many more stories of wealthy individuals with degrees. If all you've learned so far is about Bill Gates, who dropped out of Harvard University and then become top rich people on the world, perhaps that's a bit of a challenge you want to try. But, in my opinion, it's not a wise move, as long as you can continue your studies at a top university, keep learning and upgrading your skills.

I would hardly consider education to be a dirty business. More like an expensive one than a dirty one. Education is an expensive endeavor and is getting more expensive as the time goes by.
Admittedly, a degree won’t entirely secure your life for the better but to someone with an open mind, it enlightens such people about various aspects of life. For want of a better and quality education and its facilities,  educational institutions in developed countries would naturally attract students from developing countries.

Education is an expensive venture and its importance is getting less and less. The more money an individual has and is willing to part with, the more quality education you can get.

In my own places even with gathering of pursuing more degrees does not guarantee that you will get a good paying job or you won't even get at all, except if the aim is to go into academics fully and end up becoming a professor or doctor, as for my kind of person I will work on my ideas and bring them to life, education have good value but the condition that we all find our self in now i will rather go for a skill or even business instead of gathering more papers, people that have passion should go for what they have passion about, so that they won't regret not chasing their dreams if it is academics then they should go for it.

Here in our country, our government has a program that gives scholarships to students whose parents can't afford to study. Sometimes I think that the government is doing something to help students have at least some achievement in life to help their respective parents.

Then most of the student scholars do not finish their studies; in short, the money that the government spent on them is wasted. And there are others who have graduated from college, and when it comes to the point where they graduate, they still blame the government for helping them with their studies because they say they don't have jobs. Are we still going to blame the government for that? It's not possible. After you graduate, you can just wait for a company to approach you to hire you, unless you are a Magna cum laude or Zuma cum laude.

OP, the answer is no, practically the most successful people on earth does not have much degree to show, I am encouraging anyone but the fact is school can't make you rich or even add more money to your pocket, put this into consideration how much do they pay a lecturer or even a university don, I mean a professor, this things doesn't work that way, if you decide to get degree as much as you want, am not against it but you feeling that your degree will put you ahead of people who doesn't have much degree as you have, will amount to a high level on anyone side, for me, school is just their to make you go through a stage in life to learn some ideas as for the money aspect, nothing of such.

I agree with you, any high degree in my opinion will not be able to provide a decent job for us, because as far as I know the degree is just an addition to our last name, although behind it there is a struggle to get it but getting a decent job is the real struggle. the degree does not guarantee for our lives, there are also companies that prefer people who have skills but do not have any degrees, because what they need is real work, not just talk.

It's true that you said skills and knowledge that can provide a good job for us, because if it's not wrong degrees can also be bought. so if for example someone has a lot of money but doesn't want to be tired to get a degree they can buy it, that's the news in my country. So I myself don't think too much about degrees if I have good skills I believe in joining a company rather than with a high degree but no good skills or skills it's the same lie. Because what many people need is good skills not a high degree that is prioritized.

Agree. A degree indicates that we have studied, because a degree does not guarantee someone's success. Because quite a few people already have degrees, the problem is not not having a job but rather the desire to work for a high wage. And sometimes, with their diplomas, they don't want to work and work for small wages, so it's not uncommon for many of those with degrees to become unemployed and have no income, instead they only have expenses.

A degree should not be used as a benchmark for where he wants to work, but he must be able to create his own business by relying on technological developments, because currently there are many opportunities for success. If you only rely on companies or the government, your degree will be in vain.
