Trading is a lifetime skill that is always beneficial if you know what you are doing, the biggest mistake of traders is trading alt that most times doesn't obey market structure,
when it comes to cryptocurrency, trade only Bitcoin.
Bitcoin doesn't just give you profit, it gives you security, it obeys market structure, for the past 2yrs I have been trading, I only have losess only when I trading Alt, price action trading I utilize will trading always gives me result when trading Bitcoin, but when it comes to Alt I really do feel as if am gambling, so my fellow traders, trade only Bitcoin, I don't know if anyone feel the same way?

Bitcoin is known to have attained a greater level of stability when compared to other coins, which has been the reason it possibly obeys the trends and even follows the pattern of price action. Most altcoins may not have attained this level of stability and are definitely not been able to follow up with price action pattern due to their too many inconsistency.

But then this does not rules out profitablity on altcoins trading, there are people who have studied certain altcoins so well they understand their patterns and they trade them and are profitable in it, but then generally trading cryptocurrency is risky and full of some many uncertainties. It's best you pick that which suits your style , study further and stick to it, with time you will definitely turn out profitable in trading.

I agree that even though bitcoin is considered a long-term investment, it's up to the trader to see the potential profit. That's why we have scalpers, but there's no specific time or day to consider bitcoin as a long-term investment; it depends on the investor or the trader. That doesn't mean bitcoin is long-term; you will just let it sit there. You can use some for trading to earn money because we have needs in everyday life.

Altcoin doesn't mean you will lose money or that it is not good for trading; it, of course, depends on the traders. Many traders take advantage of altcoins, which indicates trading will depend on the skill and knowledge of a trader. So any coin can be profitable; you just need to find or take advantage of it. If you keep losing altcoins, then it's the trader's fault, not the coins. I personally trade not just bitcoin but other altcoins and shitcoins, and so far it's gone well.

Same with me , when it comes to crypto-currency I trade only Btc cause it seems to be the only one that follows the market structure for now . Dont thnk Btc is hard to trade if one is very good at technical analysis, unlike other altcoins where most of my losses are from them so I've decided to trade Bitcoin only. The other altcoins are more tradeable using indicators so people good at using indicators made lots of profits from them but for pure technical traders it doesn't seem that easy at all.

What is my point? because sometimes I notice that Bitcoin always says that you can get a lot of income from it. Often, if you read that here in the forum, literally speaking, it's true, and I don't contradict that. this would happen if the market is in roller coaster ride mate but what if the movement are stagnant like what we are having most of the time? when bitcoin mostly stays in floating value while altcoin are going here and there , meaning indeed that bitcoin is the safest coin to invest and use as trading material , but we also need to consider altcoins (but this is depending on your knowledge of course)

Sorry, but I don't believe that doing bitcoin trading is risky unless you are an expert in trading. But if you don't have enough knowledge here, the risk is also higher, for sure.

op I agree with you because if I were to trade personally I would definitely choose bitcoin over alt coin. I once traded alt coin and I suffered a lot. I would always recommend choosing bitcoin over alt. We know Bitcoin is very risky. Then if we understand how to trade Bitcoin then success will surely come through it.
