Rushing to buy bitcoin in your first week of discovering about it could be dangerous. Not because bitcoin investment is bad, but because the security and privacy of your coin are more important than the investment itself in bitcoin. I don't recommend newbies to buy Bitcoins when you're still acquiring knowledge because of the fact that you might not ready for the things to happen with your investment especially with how volatile Bitcoin is, but I guess you have a friend that will guide you through that so... yeah good luck with your investment journey.

TBH, I envy those people who have friends who are also investing into Bitcoin, and other types of investment as well. I don't have any friends that's also investing into crypto. I don't see anybody around me who's investing into different types of assets which is kind of frustrating (a little). It's good for you that you have a friend that will guide you.
