How do you manage greed to place your bet

For much long now I have never place bet with a higher amount but there was a bet i placed few days ago and i was tempted to increase my wager from what it should be before, Let say i often gamble with at least 200 Naira and maximum is 2,000 for a multiple bets But recently something came into me to start increasing my wager above my limits due to a game that was predicts to me it gives me all possibilities that I could cash out big time. This now made me to come here to asked how do you control your greed with your bet amount, do you go ahead placing the bet as your minds speaks or do only maintain to your limits whether it plays or not doesn't matter.

Again why do you regret after putting smaller amounts and it happens the games went as planned and starts blaming yourself for not increasing your bet amount, maybe by now you could have cashed out big time. How do you control this thought over your ends do you keep to your regulations of always placing bets with some limits or you place bet according to your mind and regrets after losing that amount for not following your limits?

You would be only making that realization on the time that you had made out such mistake or errors. People would really be changing up on the time that they do have those lesson learned scenarios.  
How to manage greed? It would depend on someones self control and  each person does have that different threshold or level of tolerance when it comes to risks factor on which some would really be
that mindful and some wont really be caring at all as long they could play and satisfy themselves then this what matter the most.

In gambling where most of us see it as a source of profits more than fun and entertainment, greed will always be present. As long as there is motivation to earn, there is also amount of greed that we can't deny. But we all know how greed can be destructive at some point. let's admit the fact that greed will always be a part of human behaviour. that's our nature. now, it is up to you how you will contain such greediness with your activities.
to manage this, you need to know why you are playing bet in the first place. what are your goals on this particular bet? if you bet small and win, then, just be happy that you won. don't be too hard on yourself. this is gambling after all.

I don't deny that I'm a victim of greediness and I still fall for it, we are just human but we are learning I tried to minimize my greediness and my experiences and losses taught me to be greedy in a positive way, like do not take a loan even if you are so sure of your bet just use all the money that you have if you're 100% sure but never take a loan out of greediness to win.
Greediness will always be part of us gamblers but we are learning and becoming experienced gamblers because of past greediness I have learned to accept the results more without regretting and putting it in my head, we learned to move forward from this experience.

I know the feel of greed when every possibility says you need to go all in but if you dont have money or you dont want to risk all of it just dont do it, even tho at the end of the day you are winning. there is still small chance that you gonna lose

actually that only means onething , that you have just come tobe a greedy gambler now as you can check your recent behavior that has limit in betting ,meaning those days you are a controllable and a still good gambler.
but recently you turn to be more greedy and addicted that you wanted to keep seeking for multiple wins.

Greed is actually difficult for us to get rid of because it is a natural trait that every individual has when faced with money or profit. But there are always many ways to minimize our greed.
When I was young and didn't have a family, I admit that I couldn't control my greed, especially when I gambled. But as time went by, my greed subsided due to encouragement and being made aware by my partner, and because I was aware of the many necessities of life that I had to bear which also encouraged me to limit my greed when I gambled.
Everyone definitely has different ways to avoid regret and the negative impacts of gambling. For me, to avoid big regrets when gambling, first we must have a clear goal for what we are gambling for. I myself have changed my views and goals about gambling, from the beginning I gambled to hope for additional income, then I changed my view that gambling is just for fun, happy and vent my gambling hobby not to earn income.
Make sure that when we gamble, we never assume that by gambling we can increase our income to meet our living needs and bills!. Then we have to set limits on the money we use for gambling. So winning or losing the money that we have limited will not be too burdensome for us.
In essence, in my opinion maturity of thought and life experience is an effective way to make ourselves aware so that we don't always become greedy in gambling.

Yep, greed has always been in every person's character but there are certain level to that and each individual possess a different level of greediness. If there are other people who can't control such characteristic, there are also those who can control it, that's the very reason why some people may say greediness doesn't affect them.
Your sense of responsibility and self awareness to such character will be the key in over coming it. Once or twice you've been greedy, but that doesn't mean you lost a total control over it because you've learned a valuable reason from it especially when it gave you an unfortunate outcome like huge losses or worst empty your bank account in just one casino night.
So, yeah I believe some people doesn't easily give in to their greediness and so they can say it doesn't affect them.

Greed will influence us to keep trying to chase bigger wins, which has happened to many gamblers. But those who have this problem don't realize it or they realize it but still try to pursue a win. But they also failed to get bigger wins because they received many losses.

And when they managed to get it, they didn't immediately stop thinking they had already won a big win. They instead try to get even bigger. That is not a wise thing because from there, defeat after loss will come to them.

In the end, they will return to their original state, which is losing more money because the winnings they got previously are also lost. However, we must be able to prevent this greed by stopping gambling and saving the remaining money we have. And if we have won and immediately stopped, we can enjoy the winning money.

winning is luck, losing is a small thing that must be accepted when gambling, that what I think.

in this concept it all depends on the budget that I have and I will tell you about sports betting. if one day I have a slightly large budget and believe that the match I choose will win maybe I will bet a slightly large amount but if I am not sure maybe only bet part of it and if I am in doubt after betting a large amount and losing that is the right thing Its natural because of course when you bet with a small amount you are always successful or always win and sometimes we think about regret or happiness. but its all still about luck and betting using money you can afford to lose and according to plan, even if you lose all your budget, we not regret it.

I do not regret whatever the result of my either small or large bet is. Gambling involves risk and there are times when I am feeling lucky. At these times, my hunger for risk taking is high. It is during this times that I slightly increase the percentage of my gambling budget from 5% to 10% and rarely 15%. I do all of these not under peer pressure but base on my risk management. Maybe what gamblers call greed is what I call a thrilling seeking adventure where we never know the outcome but we love the experience in itself.

I think greed is a trait shared by all gamblers. I'm sure all gamblers have had such experiences and we should learn from them. Often when we place a bet with a small amount it turns out it goes according to plan and when we increase the bet it turns out we lose and all that is left is regret.

Sometimes I make targets, how many winning targets I want to achieve. If the target has been met I will withdraw all or part of the money. Then I will play the remaining money that I have withdrawn so that when loses comes I don't lose my capital

You feel this way because you are betting not a comfort bet amount(too small or too big). You should determine to yourself what is the bet amount which you can accept when lose and win. Gambling will always feel you not enough when winning and losing so it’s important to resolve first your comfort zone to become satisfied on the result no matter what is the outcome.

I’m not always gambling but I always have fixed bet amount on difficulty types of game. It’s very hard to control your emotion during the game so it’s important to settle all your max and min before you play so that you can still think straight. The only time I feel confusion on my bet amount is when I’m betting on live games which I’m not prepared.

I can bear the risk of 200 Naira to 2000 Naira of our native currency and that is the limits i can go so far, you know there are some games that are too tempting whereby you may wants to increase your wager for a higher profits.
I know its very hard to control this feeling as human are always engulfed with greed you may wants to place a bet with 500 Naira but since your mind keeps telling you that you could win the game and why not increase the wager for max profits.

Yes, gamblers have experienced experiences like that, but many gamblers still have not learned from their experiences and are still trapped in that greed. They forget what they have experienced so they have to lose a lot of money because their greed encourages them to continue gambling.

I have also had experiences where after playing several rounds but not winning, I increased the bet in the hope that I could win. But that also didn't help me to win but instead, I got bigger losses. But if you set a winning target that you have to achieve, it often makes it difficult for you to achieve it because you might experience defeat before you can win, which often frustrates you.
