Open two tabs with different games play plinko at one tab and you can play any game on second tab or simply open home page of stake.
Drop 100 balls on plinko game and switch to different tab you will see the updated balance after calculating the outcome of that 100 plinko bets.
when switching on plinko tab you will see the balls are still coming down but the balance is updated on 2nd tab.

no surprise at all (but me too when discovered was somewhat surprised ...) 
if you switch animation off and instant bet on you get the same data instantly.

You can actually see this in real-time if you go into the developer mode of your browser. The script is running in real-time and the animation is still running in the browser window. So you see the outcome of the bet in the script that are running, before the output is send to the browser.

There is not a long delay between the script running and the animation being done in the GUI interface, but you can see the result, before it is displayed in the browser. (Just nice to see the clock work of the software being run in the background for the people who are interested in that)

I guess if I am not wrong there is an option to skip animations for each and every game at stake. So it will help the gamblers to save time and directly see the outcome. This is not a glitch according to me. The stake team designed the platform in this manner only. You're not wrong, there's an option on skipping animations however just like any other games, it really isn't fun if you skip these animations especially with these kind of games like dice and slots.

You play plinko but you're not for the view while the ball is dropping/bouncing then it's a choice to skip. When you do many things maybe in case of OP, that's how it's gonna be.

Yep, the trick that OP gives are just false information, it's the luck that made him win on his gambling session. Maybe he still has that adrenaline rush from the trick he discovered after winning using the trick he did. Though we know that in the back end, its pre determined by the system.

I agree, it throws away the fun of plinko. Each bounce of plinko ball don't guarantee you where it will land and that is the fun part since everything is unexpected even on the very last bounce.

That's correct, there are some ways to check the results faster, but why would you do that? I feel like you could also refresh the whole page right after betting and your balance would update faster.
I never bother to do it, I'm not that impatient.

The server has already calculated the outcome of the bets and updated your balance, even though the animation of the balls dropping is still playing out on the Plinko tab. This trick works because Stake uses a provably fair system to generate the outcomes of its games. This means that the outcome of each game is determined before the game even starts.

Calculating the game results and everything that maters happen on stake's servers but the animation part and everything else happens on your computer. It's a trick that many website developers do to save on resources. Any web developer will understand this.
Stake has millions of visitors, it can't handle all of their requests regardless of how big their servers are. Some requests can be handled locally and some sites use this feature to reduce the load on their servers and let your computer handle some extra tasks.
Again, ask a web developer and he will explain it better.
