To make forum life more easy and modern, posts and threads writing with AI ( Artificial Intelligence ) could be nice gift for all forum users. AI using in Bitcointalk forum can be also real life saver, when you need to make more posts/threads to receive the signature campaign awards.
Fake reality/spam posts/threads are already presented in the forum, so AI using just improve the fake reality/spam in more modern way.
Plus forum admin probably will be happy with full AI implementation in the forum, because AI currently is the top trend in the Web. AI using in the forum for post/thread writing can be also good advertising for new forum members, who want to use something advanced & new & not seen elsewhere.

If you want to read or interact with AI posts then just create an account in ChatGPT and start conversing with her.

Go through this thread: AI Spam Report Reference Thread and when you’re done come back and tell me how you feel about those posts in that thread.

Most of the time, those using AI don’t know anything about the topic so when an answer is generated for them by an AI they instantly just copy it and paste it here without actually verifying it, and that’s why it’s easy to filter them out from a thread because most of their replies are always Off-topic.

This is a forum where knowledge is shared and users interact with each other. AI uses the knowledge of others to give you an answer to a question you ask. Copying someone else’s work is shady, so it is not allowed in the forum.

People are here to learn and interact with each other, you can’t share what you don’t have knowledge about, by doing so, you’re already impersonating someone until duly acknowledgement is given to the person as reference to the original work.

I have seen many threads that you created and most of those are made in order to change the current system of the forum. In some of your threads you were opposing the merit system of the forum and now you are suggesting AI written posts. There is a thread by Nutildah where users report all those posts that are created by AI text generators.

The forum is for real humans not for bots and if AI writes the posts for users then they aren't doing anything and that approach will increase spamming on forum. AI generated posts  are going to be no less than a miracle for the account farmers as they will be able to make 100's of posts per day with the help of AI text generators and most of the posts in a thread will be very similar because AI text generators can only share the information that they were trained with.

The signature campaigns are managed by humans whom we call campaigns managers and in most of the managers dislike AI generated text and especially Royse gives rewards to the ones who report those participants in a campaign that use AI to generate text. The AI generated texts are highly disliked by the members of the forum and I recommend you to avoid those AI text generators at any cost.

Yes, AI can be used for taking suggestions on topics, to search and research certain content, or to improve word choice, but it shouldn't be used as a post writing tool. Your words should be your own. Not some AI generated words.

Unfortunately, I don't agree with you here. I'll tell you the exact reason. Suppose you wrote a topic about trading using AI. Now suppose I have zero knowledge of trading, and I ask a question. Bitcointalk is a discussion based forum, people come here to interact with other human beings. If you want to chat with a bot, you can do so but don’t bring that nonsense to the forum. I strongly disagree. Forums should be about real conversations between real people. Thats when you get the good discussion, not from some AI trying to sound like a real person. Besides that, AI could clutter everything up with pointless or spammy posts, making it harder to find good and relevant info. So I do not think having AI write posts is a good idea for Bitcointalk or other forums like it.

But Im sure Joeyp already knows that and it is already becoming clear that whoever is using that account just wants to troll the forum.

I think he’s just a troll. All his topics always lean towards signature campaigns or advertising, it must really hurt that he isn’t in a campaign yet. If and when he becomes full members and wears an avatar, I will not be surprised if he suggests a union for signature participants to demand for higher pay. There is no substance whatsoever to his topics, and he seems to be a making a lot of those. Luckily for him, he cannot get banned for posting nonsense….ignoring his posts will have to do for now.

A forum has rules against spam and plagiarism.

Using AI-generated content is not much different from plagiarism and I believe it is against forum rules. If this AI-generated content abuse becomes bigger, the forum rules topic will be updated with new guide about AI-generated content.

I am sure forum community are all against your dumb idea because forum is not a boring place to milk shit posters who even automate their posting 'works' with AI support.

I think AI usage is already big, AI Spam Report Reference Thread created since June 16 and now there are 13 pages, while Report plagiarism (copy/paste) here. Mods: please give temp or permban as needed post from June 16 - now only contain 9 pages (156-164), so it means AI usage surpassed plagiarized content.

I'm not supporting AI, but I still stand using AI isn't against forum rules except you can bring the proof where the moderator said using AI will get banned.

So far, if you leave a source of content, you will not be banned because you don't plagiarize anything.

But if you overdo with many zero-value posts by copy & paste from many websites or AI, you will get another problem and your account can be banned too. An account with many deleted posts can get a temporary ban by shit posting and getting four temporary bans will cause you a permanent ban.

One thing to remember is that we are in a discussion forum. And discussion forums are used not only to convey information but also to solve problems and create solutions. Discussions feel more lively by involving emotions in them. Meanwhile, AI doesn't even have emotions when they write. They are just like search engines that collect existing data. But they don't provide new solutions. They just put together solutions that already exist. And they copied it and modified it a little bit. Which is sometimes full of mistakes. AI is too rigid. Current AI is still not AI like in the film, which already has artificial intelligence capable of making logical solutions faster than humans. Well that's only in the movies. In fact, the current AI still only feels like a more sophisticated version of a search engine.

Example, a novel is very enjoyable to read because it contains empathy, emotion and all the feelings that the author pours into the story he creates in the novel. So that when we read it, we can even be immersed in the same feelings felt by the author of the story.
Try asking AI to make a story, for example, only 10 pages. I'm sure we won't even want to finish 1 page. Because they can't write something that contains emotional elements. Their writing is neither lively nor emotionally appealing. So what's so good about writing with AI?
For me, AI is currently only useful in assisting in gathering existing information.

Personally I haven't been reporting many AI-assisted posts written by newbies or accounts not in signature campaigns. I noticed that only sometimes they get deleted. AI posts by accounts in signature campaigns are nearly always deleted. As others have pointed it out, its pretty much cheating, and nobody wants to read them, anyway.

If we don't come down firmly on AI now, eventually there will be automated posting services... Multi-accounting shitposters are too lazy to invent them themselves but they would certainly pay to have something write on their behalf. I'm reminded of the case of Petulino who claims to have paid a "friend" to write posts on his behalf... the only problem is his friend was using AI and slightly tweaking the results to evade the detectors.



I'm willing to bet half the posts written in those cricket and football discussion threads are AI-generated. They seem to be translated from some news source and then run through AI, but I can't exactly prove it.
