I’m not a regular gambler nor an addicted gambler but I recently experienced a terrible chasing loss that start with small amount. I’m on a day off on my job right now due to my minor flu. My feeling got better while I don’t have things to do on my work dormitory so I decided to just gamble for fun only.

My game start by just betting minimum bet on a blackjack table with my initial deposit of 85$ which is my signature campaign earning last week. I lose my initial bank roll with just few bets on consistent losses. I decided to deposit again but this time with higher bankroll which is 250$. I bet twice the minimum bet this time since my bankroll is higher, the result is much terrible loss.

Lastly, I deposit 1800$ to have a better bankroll again, This time I’m betting like a high roller and lucky manage to recover my losses and bag 150$ profit.

Conclusion: I will never gamble again when I’m bored or chase loss small amount. With this exhilarating experience. I think I will stop gambling for a long time and reflec on what dumb thing I do today.

Yes it is true that we must be very firm in making plans, especially in financial matters and management of your gambling, of course it is true but unfortunately it may be quite difficult to do, not impossible but not as easy as turning the palm of the hand. That's the right approach when it comes to gambling. Never try to deposit one more time just because we think we can get back whatever losses we had from the first round. Gambling sites don't work that way. There's a chance we will just lose that second round and maybe even worse if we go back and deposit more until all our funds are gone.
It's better if we have a memory problem, what I mean is we can easily forget what had been lost because that way we won't be chasing the losses.

You are right that everything is fueled by anger caused by the losses we experience. We cannot accept the losses we have received, even if they are consecutive losses. It makes us emotional and want to recover the loss by depositing another amount of money to be able to get the money back. But we don't realize that recovering from those losses means we take a greater risk of losing money. We also forget that the opportunity to recover from the loss is not as big as if we suffered the loss because we could experience an even bigger loss. If gamblers must avoid gambling while they are bored then why gamble at all? Gambling is supposed to be just another hobby, and while there are many ways in which we can stave off boredom, I do not think there is anything inherently wrong with using a few dollars from time to time to obtain the entertainment we want out of gambling, and if anything I think this is the healthiest way to approach gambling, as those that try to make money out of it are the ones that are at a greater risk of suffering higher losses due to their misguided objectives when they gamble.

You are right because boredom can make them do unexpected things, which can put someone at risk. But when we can find things that can kill that boredom, we will be safe and will not do anything stupid.
