Boredom is definitely a danger, people do stupid things when bored as its the opposite of patience.  I would agree its best to change course when unable to think of any valid tactic to proceed with just throwing it all on a random number and hope is a loss that might take down the gains of a whole evening, easy to end up taking stupid risks.  This is true in general not just gambling so good life lesson perhaps.

Even if its mere $1 we should never think of recovering it back instantly. We should take a break, because myself lost around $300 just on recovering $2 lost in a roll. Thats really painful, because that was the last dollars left in the wallet to wager and I thought of keeping it for long wager with small amounts. What happened, just lost $2 in a wager and got triggered to recover it. Started to increase the bet value as the bets kept losing. Finally got emptied, so it is good to stay on the safer side knowing our limits as well as avoiding the mentality to chase the losses.

Yeah learning how to handles different outcomes may lead you to a much successful venture inside gambling,  knowing that it isn't everyday luck that may come beside you  but there's always mistakes and always have a bad night, just look on the positive side and try to rest after losing,  with that kind of interpretation you will lessened the chance of losing a lot and worse getting into too much  addiction.

Thank you for sharing your story. Many members have do the same thing when they did not have to but did it to serve as a warning to others about even non-regular gamblers can get into trouble. Another warning sign to the average person to look out for is many casinos give free bets in the hope their customers will lose and then start playing with their own money.

For the problem of professional gamblers maybe I will agree with your idea, it is true that they have an unusual way, they are not careless in every bet, always do calculations at the beginning to consider what the best decision they should take later or under certain conditions, but on the other hand I think the method used by professional gamblers is more referring to precautions to minimize and only a little effect on increasing the chances of victory or luck.
