The crypto market has a high level of volatility. Anyone who is about to make an investment needs to have a good understanding of the volatile market. Now the question is, even with volatility, will you still choose to make your investment in fiat through bank savings with regular monthly interests or rather make your investments in crypto where you hold your asset and still have the opportunity to save and make monthly interest?

To others who understand Bitcoin or cryptocurrency, most who have a deep and extensive knowledge of it actually profit from volatility; did you know that? I think you don't know that, and you are not aware of my opinion.

But it cannot be denied that because of the volatility, many people are disappointed in Bitcoin because the market is too unpredictable, so many of their capital assets also end up in losses.

crypto but BITCOIN instead so be clarity and better to choose bitcoin on that top. and also sometimes I need to convert fiat for

Bank investments are safe investments no doubt. They provide a small yet confirm returns over a period of time. So if someone wants this, then definitely they will go for FIAT investments. On the other hand, if someone wants to make good profits by taking sufficient risk, then he can go for crypto investments. If you ask me then definitely I will love to invest in cryptos, especially in Bitcoins. Here I have complete freedom of my own finance, and the scope to get better profits are available.

I have always stored millions in the bank since 10 years ago now and I can tell you that you won't make anything worth talking about leaving your money in the bank account, the truth that many people don't know is that those banks are also big investors too, they have access to peoples fund right? They can take them money out and invest in other things using money that doesn't belong to the bank.

They will make great income and you ain't going to get a dime out of it, this is what SBF did but he isn't running a bank anyway and he took things too far, I am not surprised that they fought so hard to bring him down because it's crypto exchange anyway, not a bank, if it's a bank we might never heard all about this but the war was on crypto in general.

I would rather have all my money in crypto and stocks, when Bitcoin makes a new all time high I will take some profits, even if it's just a 2x of my initial investment it's still something that the banks can't give you if you storing your funds in your bank account.

If I were in favor of fiat, I would not join this forum and I believe that everyone here would have the same thoughts as me. OP is asking about choosing between fiat and bitcoin on the bitcoin forum, I would be surprised if someone chose fiat and not bitcoin  Grin Grin. Both have their pros and cons, if someone doesn't want to take big risks and is willing to take low returns then they should stay with fiat currency in the bank. For those who like to take risks in search of greater rewards and want to avoid inflation, and change their lives...bitcoin is the choice. But there will also be some people who take advantage of both to optimize profits as well as ensure their safety.

Putting money in a bank is actually a bad idea if what we want is profit or to store the value of our assets. Bitcoin or stocks, assets like gold, real estate would be a much better choice. But putting all your money into bitcoin or stocks is also not a wise decision. You need to think about life's emergencies and what happens if you're in bear season, or the value of your portfolio is losing money. No matter what you say, in life we will still need fiat and banks, but we should not put all our assets into it, just enough, the rest should be invested in bitcoin.

I chose both of them because it was a good thing to do as it was too risky to just put our money solely into a single form of investment. But I put more on fiat investment over crypto even though we think that crypto investment is profitable because of its safety assurance. I don't save money in the banks either as I use them for investment, maybe just for now while still working on it and keep on growing.

Anyways, we have to choose the kind of investment that we have the knowledge and we think that we can manage it properly as this will be our assurance for success.

Same to you, I always stick to diversification method and I absolutely invest on both as long as I have my money to invest since both of them is doing good and every investment always comes with risk that's why it's better to not put all your eggs in one basket. When it comes to stability, I agree that fiat is far more stable than bitcoin.

You have a good idea regarding the fact that you don’t want to put all eggs in one basket. I love that but fiat stability is not really obtainable as before nowadays it’s depreciating instead of appreciating. I feel ingesting in crypto won’t be a bad idea.

I have no worries when I invest in Bitcoin, but I can't afford to risk my money by investing in altcoins or shitcoins, because fiat currency is way better than those altcoins and shitcoins.
However, a bank is not a good idea for one to save money because it is being controlled by people and it is not private. Why I like Bitcoin investment is because nobody can control it and you just have your privacy.
Privacy really matters in every investment, so if any investment doesn't keep your privacy, then the investment is not worthy of your money.

Investing in cryptocurrencies can be exciting and potentially rewarding, but it comes with its own set of benefits and risks. It's essential to do your research and understand the market thoroughly. While fiat currencies are generally considered more stable, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum have gained popularity due to their potential for high returns. I personally use Bitget, which is a user-friendly platform for trading various cryptocurrencies. However, I'd also recommend diversifying your investments and not putting all your eggs in one basket. It's a good idea to consult with financial experts and stay updated on the latest market trends before making any investment decisions.
Cryptocurrencies have emerged as a major source of investor enthusiasm over the past decade, with some investors predicting that one or more tokens will eventually supersede fiat currency. Of course, if one or more digital currencies do end up making it in the real world in this way, it's likely that investors in the cryptocurrency will see great rewards for their early adoption. The question, then, is which digital currency is most likely to have a chance of this success outside of the relative niche crypto-enthusiast community. For me, that would be, Bitcoin.

OP, out for me lost but alternatively I think you mean to ask between having a fixed deposit that is to offer Monthly interests and Investing on crypto which is preferable.
If so, I think it is Worth debating because the both sides like to lean on time factors (patient).

Fixed deposit is one of a kind assets that is provided from the bank just as Bitcoin being one of a kind origin of crypto assets in a Blockchain.
A fixed deposit assets is such that involves a lower risk but may not be able tackle inflations hence, it's interest rates is depended on the period of time the fund is invested (deposited) and has some taxational charges with tendencies of low returns.
On fixed deposit investment, its investors is deprived from tempering the deposit fund and it is unwise engaging on investment that can not help to give your present solutions to your needs while you have some money out there alternatively, tempering your deposited fund in an amateur can compromise your assets value.

Bitcoin Investment is a one kind investment which its investors is in-charge to it all decision making except for its volatility which determines its appreciative or depreciative values.
In Bitcoin investments, one is accessed to place withdrawal of its fund and doesn't matter if it is a long-term or a short-term investment.
Bitcoin is potential to profer its Investors richness in an overnight and can also mess one up overnight but there is absolutely no tendencies getting it all lost that is barely the risk in Bitcoin investments but its investors high rates of demands has it the possibilities to higher rates in returns.
Bitcoin as a decentralized digital currency is simply reliable as an independent digital assets.

So with all  Dos and DON'Ts, I am relaxed with the crypto investment bit Bitcoin precisely because it has me a higher level of reliability and profitable in the space of crypto Blockchain.

Instead of investing on fiat, it is better to invest in gold and bitcoins, fiat is no longer trusted  and it's a tool used to manipulate the masses, it's value does not have a particular direction.
Though You have a good suggestion and it will be profitable if you invest a big sum of money in fiat to expect significant reward from it.

Bitcoin till forever mate , never that I will choose banks over crypto specially as you mentioned there will be monthly interest ,have used banks for many years before learning Bitcoin I stopped engaging with banks not even use credit cards now as I am completely using either my monthly wages or my crypto holding .
but it is for Bitcoin alone and no altcoins or bs meme coin or shitcoins.

Let me correct you on something else you said, because cryptocurrency does not provide monthly interest for your savings in the crypto space. because it depends on our knowledge of what level of profit we can get here.

Yes, it's true that we also need to have enough knowledge here because I also agree with the volatility that cryptocurrencies have and believe that they have the potential to provide good profits in the future.

Your point is somehow true. Bank is centralized and it is a type of business of bank authority. And they invest the customer's money in different places and make profit and give a portion of that profit to their customer may be 5-10% which you mentioned. But from here 10-15% or more income tax is deducted by the government of different countries as per law. But in case of Bitcoin this freedom is available that there is no hassle of bad tax. And fund management can be done as per your wish. And the price of Bitcoin is increasing day by day so investing here can also get a lot of profit. But where you can keep your principal money stable in case of FIAT and earn a certain percentage rate of profit, you cannot keep your investment stable in case of Bitcoin. Investing in Bitcoin is very risky. But I totally agree with what you mentioned that one can never gain without taking risk. So if you want to achieve something big, you have to take risks

why should we choose between these two only? and why fiat? you don't invest in fiat, investing in it makes no sense. you can invest in a lot of things like gold or real estate as the alternative to bitcoin.

as for crypto. it is silly to invest in altcoins, the only viable investment is bitcoin. altcoins are too risky and manipulated to be invested in.

Very true and to add to your point, you don't invest in fiat, you save in fiat, that's the right concept. You can choose to either save your money in the form a fiat in the bank and get very small returns quarterly or annually or you can choose to invest actually invest your money in Bitcoin, I said Bitcoin because it has proven to so far be the safest cryptocurrency with the best framework to invest in.
But whichever you choose is strictly your decision but while you make that decision I'll leave you with two points to note. Choosing to save your money in fiat may look like the safest way to save your money but that's what the bank wants you to believe while in reality you're simply enriching the bank and risking your money, why do I say so? We all know that inflation is hitting globally in an unimaginable way, thereby affecting fiat in ways you can never imagine. Save $100 in your local bank today and come back to check on your money after 1 year, it's still the same $100 but inflation would make that same $100 depreciate in value, less valuable than it was 1 year ago, so how is that a safe investment? Never fall for that bank trick.

But if you choose to invest in Bitcoin today, check back after 1 year and you'll see what a wise choice you've made. Sure there may be periods where Bitcoin would experience crazy ass dips and if you're not sure of yourself you may take out your money and that's when you loose, but if you overlook the pressure of dip and leave your money there, then you'll reap the reward of your patience and for making the right choice. One rule of Bitcoin is, you loose when you take out your money, but if you don't take out your money, you'll always gain. So consider this points before choosing where to put in your money.

It is evident that the traditional investment approach invented by the banks and financial institutions are facing hard times and the crypto space is a major destination for the former banking investors (this is obvious as MicroStrategy and BlackRock are good examples of these investment firms) This shows a wave of new crypto investors and it further advices prospective investors on what direction to go.

If MicroStrategy was to mentor people on investing right now, you'll bank on their advice being the crypto way than the regular fiat way, and small investors are looking for where the big players are headed. I'll go with the Crypto investment anyday.

I will choose to invest in crypto (in Bitcoin specifically). However, gaining interest monthly is not that accurate in crypto since it depends on the status of the market and the coins that you're holding. But the potential to gain huge is always there especially if the coin that you buy is Bitcoin. It's true that an investors needs to understand what they are getting into before engaging themselves since Bitcoin is unpredictable and also associated with risk.

On the other side, I can't consider saving money in banks as an investment due to low interest. When it comes to fiat, I'd rather invest in gold than in banks.

Bitcoin till forever mate , never that I will choose banks over crypto specially as you mentioned there will be monthly interest ,have used banks for many years before learning Bitcoin
I also used banks for several years and even until today. They have interest in offers for their services but you're earn measly from there.

I stopped engaging with banks not even use credit cards now as I am completely using either my monthly wages or my crypto holding .
but it is for Bitcoin alone and no altcoins or bs meme coin or shitcoins.
That's a good strategy if you're not investing anymore to altcoins, meme coins or any shit coins. You're giving yourself a favor by doing that because you know that Bitcoin is coming to halving within the next months and then the price will shoot up after wards. As an investor, if the opportunity is on both ends, I'd do it honestly.

Banks have the most regulated investments I can ever imagine, it will not be out of place to still rely on them to invest but to look at crypto, be prepared for whatever comes as the volatility of the market is unimaginable. Only people open to such are degree of volatility should adventure into crypto investments
