Even if a person had a simple plan to enter a casino just to leave as soon as they had a profit of 2x, the risk of losing on the first bet is still a high risk, then losing again on the second bet, then losing again in the third bet and lose money again in the fourth bet, with that the person would have already had 4 consecutive defeats, even if in the fifth game that person managed to win 2x, they would still be in losses, which is why in these cases we see people continuing playing because they want to recover the money they lost during all the time they were playing, but the end result is that they will lose everything.
