  not only Anjum but reema malhotra & Mithali all are very hard to listen too & less said about people like murli karthik & jatin sapru ...litreally every single indian commentator is on decline including Harha & Shastri, although Shastri is still fun to listen to if he is doing stint for foregin broadcaster especially in Australia.

I mostly now watch cricket on mute unless one of Bish , Ian Smith or Punter is on comm box ...binga , gilly & Naseer also tolerable.quality of cricket commentary is on steadily decline , we need genuine analysis not cheerleaders in comm box.

Kachra toh foreign comms mein bhi bhar bhar ke pada hai.

To name a few clark, Hayden, mark waugh, Warner etc are desi versions of Aakash, sanju manju ( he used to be damn good on tactical and batting analysis but then he fucked up). Same with Harsha, he used to be one of few independent voice in Indian cricket but one day dhoni got mad and BCCI sacked poor guy, now he also read script. Love sunny g but only when he talks about batting.

Have a big crush on Guha's voice, bish is good because he knows when to stop and dude actually does his own reasearch ( he also does gigs in u-19 cricket so it helps him more). Punter is pure gold. I like ather-nass combo most because of constant banter.

Economy doing alright and it'll only go up from here, cricket crazy population so no need to build up anything from scratch even infrastructure mein kuch khaas nhi karna. Stadium etc sara ecosystem is in place. Revenue sharing is too good because players are paid peanuts ( completely different debate because of overall health of cricket around the world).

So make sense why businesses are willing to spend billions of dollars.

^^ +there isn't even any competition regarding time slot , no sport can compete with cricket.Infra is there to support , if BCCI only do some soul searching & put some money into providing basic facility inside staduim

BCCI actually has no say in managing stadiums but yeah they could atleast grow a pair and make it mandatory rule of providing good fan experience in the stadium and make their life easy. This should be first criteria before you handing out money to state boards and international matches ( it's based on quota atm).

Another option would be franchise building up their own facilities, franchise do satisfactory job during IPL season tho, it's much better when compared to state boards.

^ Watching an international or IPL match in venue is nothing but a nightmare experience for me, I would never go there because the crowd management is worst, lack of enough restrooms and even crowds in the food stalls are absurd. So it is better to watch the game at the comfort with 4K and multiple camera angles along with slo mo seems better option to me.

^^ excatly , why go to venue & have horrible experince while you can watch at home relaxing.

I agree with JSRAW , time to put these condition in place to force state board to do some work or maybe instead of building new venues ..these franchise can buy these venues from state board.

Fans are taken for granted unless you have pavilian and hospitality boxes but most of the time, normal folks don't get these seats as majority of it goes into pass quotas/VIPs.

Demand is way too much because of our population and folks are lined up to see the matches even if millions start boycotting matches in the stadiums, millions will replace and pop up to watch cricket players.

Watching match on telly and experiencing in the stadium is completely different and can't be compared. The former gives you controlled environment and you control everything with comms talking about literally every detail but the latter is unpredictable and chaotic, you become part of this chaos. If you don't have best seats, sometimes you miss the key moments/ every ball is a moment with uhh and aahs as you have no idea if it's swinging, seaming or taking edge etc but crowds reaction will keep you update, which is also part of the experience.

India is in U19 wc finals , well done to boys ..Afg played well & gave a decent target of 311 but Surya finished the game in first 10 over of the chase & then Aaron & Ayush finished the job.really impressed with Faisal Shinozada , i think Afg find a decent middle order batter for their senior team.
