Hello Pyrin Community!

We are thrilled to announce the release of the latest version of Pyrin Blockchain, which includes a significant Hard Fork. Here's what you need to know:

What's New in This Update?
Blake3 Integration:
The entire blockchain has transitioned to Blake3. This includes updates to:
PoWHash
BlockHash
Merkle Hash
HeavyHash
Transaction Hashing

The results in:
Enhanced security measures.
Superior performance.
Increased efficiency in transaction and block processing.


New GPU Miner:
A completely redesigned GPU miner compatible with the updated blockchain structure.

🛑 Important Notice: Mandatory Updates Required

Mandatory Updates Required: All users must download the new PyiPad and GPU miner and update their nodes and GPUs.
Compatibility: After the hard fork, the old PyiPad and existing miners will no longer function.

We want to share tech details of what we did

Technical Breakdown:
Our initial blockchain implementation used Blake3 for transaction hashes, Merkel hashes, and block hashes. We encountered an issue where ASIC miners, though unable to receive rewards, were still able to find blocks. This led to an unusually high hash rate on the old chain, adversely affecting network performance.

To address this, we took decisive steps:
Implementing Full Blake3: We expanded the use of Blake3 into our proof-of-work (PoW) and Kheavyhash algorithms.
this change required a hard fork.
that means the network will start a new blockchain with a new Genesis hash from the last block of the old blockchain.
Post Fork, the new blockchain started but with sync issues.
that causes the high hash rate. (1.4 PH and It starts to reduce over time but is still high about 400 TH)
because of the high hash rate, the fork didn't succeed smoothly.
challenges posed by the ASIC miners who had not updated their nodes.
To realign the network with the updated chain and address the high hash rate issue, we performed network maintenance. This included fixing the node, establishing a new genesis hash, and finalizing the last UTXO.
because of the ASIC that's affected the hash rate we will reduce the difficulty to 2.47GHs which is 486652985 BITS.
the difficulty algo is dynamic and grows over time due to the hash rate.

Linux:
rmdir /q /s %localappdata%\Pyipad


Download the latest node version:

to my knowledge, mining software is classified as dangerous by win defender and other programs. I had no problems downloading and use it. But be careful in any case. Please let me know if you notice anything

The discord has some really nice, intelligent people on it. The coin is legit. I mined like 70 PYI in several hours and sent them to Tradeogre. Seamless.

Yeah, but they also ban you off of discord pretty fast if they don't like what you are saying. Even light criticisms they seem unable to handle, so tread cautiously.

What kind of criticism, for example? I've only noticed bans when people have been insulted.
