Currently Altcoins are start growing and crypto market condition is pretty good as every where is green. And many of us expected that, bull will come soon and so people already start analysis for which altcoins should buy and could be best investment for bull run. But as we know, market goes a little down when it comes to BTC Halving, which will be happened probably on 24th april, 2024.
So are you going to pick your altcoins Now??  Or During/After BTC Halving while you can buy altcoins with low price?

Why not on both instances? It's rather hard anyway to find the "best" among the periods of when you should invest really, so just invest when you think it'd go up even for a bit. It might also depend on how you're planning to go about this, e.g. short term or totally hodl until that period of pump that the halving "may" bring. If it was the former then yea, decide when of the two, and maybe pick a period where it's down by a substantial amount (instead of being up, since that mostly leads to losses in the short term). If it was the latter then you can just DCA some of the coins you want on both periods, or the entire period till halving really.

It would seem that the best thing to do now it is to wait, if you concentrate on bitcoin at the moment then you will enjoy great profits when the price begins to go up, and since on the early stages bitcoin has the tendency to outperform most of the top altcoins, we can say it is the safer and the most profitable choice at the time.

However once the price of bitcoin begins to slowdown a little bit then you can consider to switch to altcoins, as that is when the altcoin season could begin and this could allow you to obtain higher profits than just holding bitcoin or altcoins over the course of the bull run.

Just take a look at the history of Bitcoin block halvings. You will see those block halvings in history started to pump months before the Bitcoin block not on the exact day or after.
So for me, it's better to position months before. Since last quarters of this year, we saw a really good price movement for the entire market, Bitcoin and altcoins.

Based on history, Bitcoin's price tends to move months after the Bitcoin halving.
We know that most of the altcoins are moving the same as how Bitcoin's price is. Bitcoin is up = Most altcoins up as well, and vice versa.

Basing on history, I think it would be better if you buy altcoins months before the halving happens, or months after the halving happens because during the last halving, nothing significant happened, and the price of Bitcoin didn't go up a few weeks after the event happened.

Overall, it would always be better if you buy altcoins during the bear market, but if you don't have money at that time (which is a bit unfortunate because that's what I consider the best time to accumulate altcoins), buy altcoins a few months before the halving, or a few months after the wedding, but prices of altcoins went up already at that time like what's happening right now.

This is the right time to start investing in altcoins a research on the underpriced, credible and feasible ones  towards investing in them is the best bet now, there is a trending news on twitter now that SEC would likely approve Bitcoin ETF in January thus there is the tendency that price surge of Bitcoin is underway if truly approved which would ultimately pump many altcoins too, even before halving of Bitcoin bill for next year, some investors had already bought some altcoins during the last bearish period of Bitcoin using DCA approach, however investors has to be very extraordinary careful on the altcoins they intended to invest on to avoid investing on shit coins.

I think if there is a alt coin or porject you want to invest in you should do that now. We know when the Bitcoin halving is going to happen to you can do it anytime before that.
We know that in the past after the Bitcoin halving the price does go up. And when Bitcoin price goes up well we know al so this same thing will happen to the alt coins.
Do not wait for next year to invest your fiat in alt coins you think will make profit. Alts like Ethereum, Ripple, and Cardano has big investor support so we know there will be lots of fiat coming into those before Bitcoin halving.

Have you ever heard of "Pairing" ? it's an event where atcoins market will react to the BTC pair, where if Bitcoin (BTC) experiences an increase, any altcoins that have a BTC pair will experience an increase in price too.

Referring to what I said, it means that it would be better to buy the Altcoin that we want from now on, so that we will benefit from the "Pairing" side that I meant before. Because usually when a halving occurs, the price of Bitcoin (BTC) will increase due to increased scarcity.

If you're looking for when to invest in altcoins, then i think now is the best time because they are all preparing to begin to rise now, we cannot predict about thier fate over what may comes out next the following day, we need to invest now and hold, also we have to make an adequate research on them before making an investment because some may not record high performance during or after halving.

prices will also grow by the time halving comes. ETH last month was less than $2000 so buying now will be much preferred if you look into the future where more altcoins will be greener. and it could mean next year you are already in profit.

i kept banking on altcoins right now since its the only ones that i can afford with every USD i get. i invest in Vechain and doge more because they are cheaper and i have been holding them since last year.

If you are still asking this question you might probably be lagging behind now. People are not kidding when it comes to cryptocurrency, they are in a serious business and some people have started buying their coins/tokens as far back as the last months of last year.

I must say I love what is happening in the crypto world now, it's another good reason for those lousy people to keep their mouths shut. Initially, when I joined this forum, I realised that a lot of people are so naive as they believe that a history or cycle could continue to happen in the market. For what? Not when cryptocurrency has been inculcated fully into the mainstream of the financial market. What we experience now has changed it all. Just because Bitcoin followed a cycle for years doesn't mean it will continue all the time, the coin is still young, and it will take over 100 years to fully ascertain its properties/characteristics. As for the market dynamics, it will never obey the same rules forever, never.

Now, the ETF events have changed the whole narrative, and I believe any speculative person should have started buying his coins when they were so low not when they are high. Irrespective, this time is not too late, at worst, you should DCA. But if you won't still buy now, you might continue to lose as the bull run has already started, and you can see that on the monthly chart.

Buying Halving is the best time to buy since everyone is optimistic to purchase more if there’s an upcoming news coming not after the big news. You are just wasting a very good opportunity of sure pump by delaying your buy after the big event since people will start to take profit already during that time.

Purchase whenever the market is suffering minor correction because the price will not go lower like before while there’s no bad news or the halving is not over. DCA is your friend in time like this.

It also depends, but if you want to take advantage, it must be before the halving because we have to panic now to buy altcoins which are still quite cheap, don't panic when the price is already high, that's wrong in my opinion, panic from now on, look for money to buy it from now on because we don't know the price. altxoin after the halving never time the market

There is no guarantee that market will goes down on 24 April of next year because assumptions sometimes goes wrong. I think once should make investment when he has some amount of money because sometimes a right time comes but at that time you don't have any amount. If a person has solid knowledge about Bull market Initiation then he should invest some amount prior to Bull season.

Buying of altcoins will be beneficial if we do it prior to the arrival of halving as we have to take benefit from altcoins up price during halving and if we buy altcoins during halving then the worth will already higher so there is less possible chance that we will win with this decision.
