If the market goes down before the Bitcoin halving then maybe that time is now. We have seen the end of 2023 go very well and the market goes through a bit of a rough patch in 2024. However, we also know that the Bitcoin halving is not much longer so the current poor market position is reminiscent of the pre-halving situation. If this period resembles the pre-Bitcoin halving period, people who haven't invested should invest right now. When I want to invest in altcoins, I wait for the altcoin to be trading in losses before I buy them and I wait for the altcoin to recover so I can sell them for profits. I don't hold my altcoins for very long, any small profit that I see,  I'll sell and keep the profits in USDT. Why many individual lose when they're investing in altcoins is as they're thinking altcoins can give them more profits than they already have therefore they continue holding and the market dumps.

Investing in altcoins during the halving mightn't make us profits as many investors will be buying only Bitcoin during that time but after, they'll start looking at potential altcoins to buy. But when you invest before the halving, you can get the altcoins very cheap and have more chances to make profits as other investors come after the halving to buy them, you don't need to hold for so long to make profits if you invest early.

I like your strategy, and it sound more like investing in old coins which gained some reputation in market. Buying when the price is low and selling after you must have acquired some profit, it doesn't necessarily mean waiting for 2x, 5x or 10x return. Because that is where most investors loss some of their money being too greedy. I like that you convert your coins to a stable coin to avoid volatility so you have time to make calculations for your next move. However as Interesting as it is, I don't consider buying any altcoin, I am more of a long term holder, and I'll stick with Bitcoin.

Normally people would love to buy coin when the price is low, because no body would like to buy altcoins when the price is high and when we enter the bearish season the price start to decline. For sure, anything that has to do with crypto investment has to happen now, before the halving if not you might end up having regrets. Now the entire market is experiencing a dump in price which might be due to the selling of over 16k Bitcoin by grayscale. It depends on when I can avail them but if I invest, I'd do it before the halving happens.
