It was really unfortunate for a team like Brazil that they could not come back with a win despite their dominance throughout the game. Brazil had 74% of the ball throughout the 90 minutes, with Marquinhos sending the ball into the Costa Rica net on the 30th minute but that goal was ruled out for offside. Another misfortune was Paqueta's shot coming back off the goal post. The eyes of the entire football world were on this match. Against Costa Rica Brazil gave a spectacular performance but did not see only goals.

I personally am not too surprised by what Brazil got today when facing Costa Rica, in the previous post I have said that indeed Brazil will win with a narrow score but in fact they are worse than what I expected, previously Costa Rica has been too easy an opponent for Brazil but currently Costa Rica has developed rapidly and can make it difficult for any team in Group D including Brazil,  Today's match of course shows what Ronaldinho said previously about Brazil chances in the Copa America proved to be true, currently indeed the Brazilian squad is quite good and filled with young talent, but Ronaldinho said that the quality of the squad owned by Brazil has decreased.

Against Costa Rica, Brazil dominated and even created many chances in the match, but many of those chances could not be used effectively to score, the draw with Costa Rica certainly indicates that there is something wrong with Brazil at the moment and I think their coach must be able to immediately improve it in the next match if they want to qualify for the next round.

Brazil, even with its great team, could lose to Costa Rica, but don't doubt their potential. With this bad phase and the loss of identity of the players, they are capable of anything, even losing to teams that have no tradition or expensive players.

I didn't watch the match to the end but it gave me a shock to see the end result, but before then I said it, it not by the previous performance, I feel so sorry for the Brazil after dominating every aspect of the game but unfortunately they ended up draw, Costa Rica have really put enough fight to stop the great players. Colombia have succeeded in winning Paraguay which make them stay on the top of the table, before the Brazil game I thought Colombia are just there and after their match they will take over the table but the reverse is the cast, Copa America have started surprising me like euro, I hope Brazil will learn from the mistakes to win their next two matches, they have all what is takes to even win the trophy so I still have hope for them.

We don't need to underestimate any team base on bookie odd or who's the favorite, like you said the Brazilian national side is not having a better performance in their previous games but I assure you that since this is their first game you're going to see a more flexible Brazilian team. Costa Rica can not be matched with the Brazil team which means is Brazil all the way in this encounter, no way are they going to share point. These guys are going to prove a point that they're also contenders in this tournament that is why I'll give it to the Brazil side.
Midfield of the Brazil team is weak, that I'll agree but they can manage by get the wingers to fall back more to mark their way through into the half of the opponent and ones that is done, I don't see any much spark from the Costa Rica side, it will be hard for the opposition (Costa Rica) and an easy win for Brazil, I'll go for a 3-1 win for Brazil.

Brazil team is much stronger than Costa Rica. Brazil had a lot of talented and star players. But I have seen Brazil's performance in the past few matches. So I can't consider Brazil as a favorite in this match. I said it would be very difficult for Brazil to beat Costa Rica in the match. And at the end of the match Brazil team failed to win the match.

This was a very difficult and frustrating game for Brazil, Viny didn't play too well. Costa Rica was very solid in defending, defending and defending. Not to mention that the goalkeeper from Costa Rica is like a wall with many extraordinary saves.

We know Panama team is weak team as comparison to Uruguay team but we cannot say strong team to favorite team because any team can won the match against big teams. Because we saw matches in which strong team lose the match against weak team .  We saw USA Vs Brazil match and we saw the result of that match . Brazil team was much much stronger than USA team but it could not won the match and both teams got 1,1 point.

Maybe I won't doubt the quality of the Brazilian players because currently these players are the best at their respective clubs. However, it is also strange to see that their performance is not commensurate with what they showed with Brazil. The gap is so wide that performance should be consistent, but what we see is instead a failure in the country.

With statistics like that, Brazil should be able to win easily, even with a margin of at least two goals, but this is still like wasting every possible opportunity. I don't know why the quality of Brazil's game has dropped so much and I doubt they can be compared to other great teams like Argentina or others.

Such a pity, and outside all this am just even glad that the bookmakers had to make their winning odd so low that made me ignore it, I mean who would have thought that this game is actually going to end up in a draw, with all that's stats they couldn't convert any to a single goal and if they continue like this then they would be probably knocked out within no time.

Brazil now lack of good strikers and their midfield area has problems too. They can have good ball possession but struggle to create opportunities and they rely on their attacking players at swings like Vinicius Jr or Rodrgyo to find opportunities. They have very limited choices for attacking and it reduces their attacking power a lot.

At their defensive area, it's hard to find good central defenders and wing back players like Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Dani Alves and Marcelo like years ago.

The numbers of goals scored is only a thing of concern for teams that are struggling to come out of the group into the knockout stage but don't have enough point. With clear 6 point advantage from three matches, Argentina don't need too much goals to proceed further in the tournament. They already have the highest numbers of goals in the group and haven't conceded a single goal yet. The practical thing that happened is that Chile played a more defensive game and weren't looking like they needed to score, when you're playing against a team with that kind of mentality, it becomes very deficult to score them and if you're not careful, they ruin your day by successfully holding you to a draw. Brazil and England suffered same fate and couldn't find a way to secure the three points to themselves. So far, Argentina has the brightest look in this current edition of the Copa America tournament and if they take this consistency to the knockout stage, they will certainly get to the finals.

However, as Canada faces Peru today, both teams will have enough attacks to win, and I see Canada as the favorite today. If Canada can win today's match, then they definitely have a chance to qualify for the next round, and I think Canada will win today's match.
