Brazil has been a bad team in recent times, not only in the Copa America, if I'm not mistaken in the World Cup qualifiers they performed badly, and the Copa America is increasingly proving how bad they are, they're just lucky enough in these few matches to get to the quarter-finals and their elimination was predicted because Uruguay is one of the teams with the most convincing performance, in fact I predict Uruguay will go to the final and have a chance of becoming champions.
If you ask why they are bad in the Copa America, it is simple because the players there play individually, not as a team.

Brazil is a renowned team. As their goal was to do well in the World Cup and win the Copa, Brazil needed a more experienced coach. Also I saw Brazilian players ignore Coach Dorival. I think every team that has qualified for the semi-finals in the Copa America is strong. But Argentina vs Canada match will not be so competitive because Canada is a normal team compared to Argentina. Argentina is a strong team so they can easily win against Canada and they will go to the final. Argentina like you rightly have been impressive in the ongoing Copa America competition but one thing I don't expect anyone to say is that Lionel Messi have been at his best in the competition so far. His contributions to the Argentina team have been poor of we all can be sincere to ourselves. Lionel Messi is yet to score in the and was even then one that missed in their last penalty shootout out. Argentina's best player in the tournament so far have been no other than Lautaro Martinez. The Inter Milan striker have been the one with most goal contributions in the tournament as well as his team and I think he should be accorded with his deserved accolades instead of giving it to Messi because he has more global popularity.
Argentina will face Canada in the semi finals of the competition and considering the quality of players in the Canadian team, Argentina are very likely to win the game if you ask me.

Because of the shortage of defenders, this opportunity could have been exploited by the Brazilian team, but due to the current shortage of players, Brazil lost this match by a margin. Well you are not wrong but during this stages a full time win isn't something that actually even guaranteed looking at how draws have been coming up of lately it's wouldn't be surprising again to see Canada actually manouver their way out and come out Victorious against Argentina and besides the whole thing with penalty is that no one can actually say who's gonna win.

For me personally, for a while I speculated that Uruguay had a slightly higher chance than its opponent in the semi-finals. Brazil did perform badly in the 2024 Copa America. After Nahitan Nandez was sent off in the 74th minute they were unable to take advantage of the difference in the number of players to score a goal and win the match. They lost on penalties and I think they deserved it. They must correct their mistakes if they want to appear in the 2026 world cup.

The semifinal match will be even more interesting to watch. Argentina is more favored against Canada because they have beaten Canada in the previous match. But they should not underestimate Canada as they will play with different pressure in the semifinals.

There is no doubt that this match will be competitive. We know that Uruguay are in very good form this season. Uruguay's players have performed well in every match so far. Uruguay's players also performed well against Brazil. On the other hand, the Colombian team is not a weak team. Colombia won the quarter-final match against Panama with a big margin of 5-0. From this it is understood that Colombia's attack is very strong.

In the past I have seen Uruguay vs Colombia matches are almost always competitive. The last match between these two teams was also a 2-2 draw. I watched the match. Was at first having issues with where in particular to drop this but then since it's coming from a personality from the South America I felt this should be the right place for this.

After carefully reading what Marcelo Bielsa said and contrasting it with the perspective today about how football games in tournament's, leagues  in the world has been viewed  and given priority akin to the team's and players over others, one will be persuaded to agree with Bielsa about the future of football among other sports.

This is similar to the grumbling of an old man who doesn’t like everything new, but he likes everything old because that’s how it was in his youth. I found and read his full words and not just this quote. He doesn't like modern technology because it makes football more predictable. Lol. As they say, sometimes gray hair comes without wisdom.

the fact is that things have changed with regards to how football had been in the past with respect to how it currently his now, the technology that has been brought into the game of football is to make it more accurate and to assist most referees and linesmen make better decision which will go on to create a free and fair decision and Although we've seen some lapses in the use of these technology most expecially the extent to which it has become too strict with off sides that has led to the cancelation of goals that should have stood in the normal case, it's just normal to see an opinion of this sort most expecially from someone that has been part of an era when decision where left in the hands of referees and linesmen.

Football is still fun and I've had to watch some of the matches that where played in the late 90s and truth be told, they were damn boring. Football has become more competitive from a lot perspective and without the use of these technology, it would almost seems impossible to handle what's going on in the world football at the moment combined with the reality that a lot of business and interest have been built around it and it's easy to manipulate officiating teams to ones side.

Whenever a player received a red card it was imperative that the Brazilian team took advantage of the opportunity immediately. The defender in particular got red carded and left the field and got a long time but somehow the Brazilian football players missed this opportunity. And there were many more chances to score but even there they missed their chances. In short, the brazil team's past pride is a downfall in the present, as they generally lost to the Uruguayan team despite having plenty of opportunities.

Even though Argentina previously managed to beat Canada when the two clashed in the group stage, they still couldn't underestimate Canada, who had made it to the semifinals. This match must be considered important for Argentina, even though their quality is superior to Canada, Scaloni must field his best squad and use the same tactics as have been used in several previous matches.

Hopefully this scenario comes true, the Argentina vs Colombia match will be the ideal final in this Copa America. Previously, I really hoped that the final of the previous edition would be repeated. The reality of the situation is that the fans of both players Ronaldo and Messi are always bent over the lost of each other’s opponents failure. Messi fans were happy that France knocked out Portugal even though they were some players they love that played for Portugal team and then Ronaldo fans are wishing same thing for the Argentina side, i usually say this the bad way to support a team or player but it has been what has brought the heat of competition since the last 15 years.

Argentina to me looks like an invincible nation to be stopped in this tournament with every country that comes their way to me a work around for them. Maybe this match will be easy for Argentina team as they beat Canada in a previous match which was a group stage match. If anyone thinks that Argentina will be beaten easily then they are living in a fool's paradise because Argentina team is not so weak that they will lose easily.

Regardless of the fact that the outcome of the match was determined by penalty shootouts but I have already known that Uruguay will move to the Semi finals because if you watch Uruguay play, they have this strong determination in them since they started the Copa America and Brazil on the other hand didn't look like they would advance further because their matches are always boring to me because irrespective of the fact that they have professional and tactical players in their squad but they weren't strong enough as they narrowly win their previous games and Uruguay is a strong contender of the Copa America, they know the value of the cup more than Brazil hence they gave their all to get to the Semi finals, imagine being one man down due to red card but yet Brazil couldn't utilize the opportunity that means had it been the Uruguay team were complete to the end they would have won Brazil without getting into penalty shootouts.

Uruguay versus Columbia match will be a very tough game because Columbia have also shown good signs of professionalism in their play and of which they gonna give Uruguay a tough game but I still vehemently believe that Uruguay will win Columbia and reach the finals alongside their rivals in the Competition Argentina who will also be playing against Canada but their game looks obvious that Argentina will emerge as the winners in that match however, I'm seeing Argentina and Uruguay making it to the finals.

Not only boring, but i don't think it's worth watching the performance of the Brazilian Team, i think this is why one of the Brazilian legends said that he didn't want to watch Brazil's match, because of their poor performance on the pitch, and i really agree with your opinion on this matter. Regarding the problem of Brazilian team's performance, the manager should have known and fixed it, in order to restore Brazil's great name and glory as one of the best football countries.

I agree with you. One of the reasons for Brazil's poor performance is their coach. 62-year-old Dorival Junior is not an experienced coach. He previously coached Sao Paulo and Flamengo. Brazil is a renowned team. As their goal was to do well in the World Cup and win the Copa, Brazil needed a more experienced coach. Also I saw Brazilian players ignore Coach Dorival. They don't give enough respect. However, this could also be my misunderstanding.

Brazil should definitely try to strengthen the bonding between the players. Because there is no shortage of talented players in Brazil's squad. If the chemistry between the players is good then this team will be strong.

I understand the importance of having a young and vibrant couch especially in a team like Brazil but this can not be justify as one of the reason for their irritating performance. Brazil performance was not only poor, it was very embarrassing and insulting for a team that have produced famous and talented players in the history of football and are also known for taking sports activities very serious to end up playing the way played in a tournament as serious as Euro.

I don't know much about their couch but even if he's less experienced as you pointed out, the players can adjust while in the pitch to make things work right. Majority of their squad players play in a very recognized clubs and have experience to play even without the instruction of a couch. What I could figure out from their overall performance is lack of dedication. They were playing like people who weren't interested but forced to come and participate. The couch should be relief from the duty because at that age, nothing much is expected again.
