It was unfortunate that Uruguay failed to advance to the semi-finals despite Colombia getting their card towards the end of the first half and after the second half started Uruguay could not equalize despite several chances from Nunez and Suarez that could not become goals.

Even though it was known that Uruguay was favored over Colombia and as such it was a hot and extreme semi-final after the match was over.

The Uruguay team was just faced with hard luck against the Columbia team because despite Columbia having a red card but yet the Uruguay side couldn't equalize the goal. Everyone thought Uruguay will win Columbia when they had that early red card but the Columbia team also managed to maintain the one goal they scored before half time till full time, even though Uruguay was stronger than Columbia but the Columbia team showed good display of determination because when they met Brazil during the group stage matches they didn't allow Brazil to win them instead they ended in a draw. James Rodriguez has also been very contributive to the success of the Columbians and he deserves some respect for his display of professionalism.

Seeing from some videos on social X Nunez fought with Colombian fans to save his family from being attacked by drunk Colombian fans.

I think, there is always a trigger that will make them have a fight like that because after all, if they only get a losing result I don't think they will have a fight like that either. Because if the issue is because Nunez received threats from Colombian fans, then I think it's natural that Nunez ended up being emotional and unbearable, resulting in a fistfight like that. However, if for example the threat does not really exist or does not actually occur, then Nunez will receive punishment.

But of course, if the threat was really made by Colombian national team fans, then of course Nunez would not receive any punishment because the fault lies with the Colombian fans who intimidated Nunez. Colombia has tired but they can not be the team to stop Argentina from winning the Copa America. Argentina prepared for the tournament very well and no team could stop them. They have showed their country that they can be called heros. They just won the world cup and adding to that could be the Copa American. By mere calling of the names that are going to be playing in the final match of the Copa America, one will definitely pick Argentina as the best choice to win the match. Colombians can’t just be banned from next tournaments because their fans fought with their opponents player, that will be uncalled for and not just if such verdict is being given as regards to this situation. Of all the matches Uruguay has played on this season this was actually the match I never expect them to lose because in as much as Uruguay may not be the best team on this league but we can attest that there performance this season was too impressive, however we can start from there group stage when they played three matches and came out victorious with 9 points and they still move on and meeting Brazil at the Quarter finals and with there performance they still managed to hold Brazil with draw even with the red card they had but still Brazil could not win them.

It is a great victory for Colombia, I thought the match would end in a draw and that the score would be in Uruguay's favor because I see that they are very good scorers, however the winner is Colombia and I think it is excellent, the final is not an iconic final, Colombia is very excited, its people, everyone is still celebrating, the final is very good, it could be that either of the two teams wins although I am more inclined to favor Argentina because of the warmth that this team shows in a final, however since 2001 with the captaincy of Pibe Valderrama they have won a Copa América, it could be that the selection can give that joy to the coffee-growing country.

Regarding the hooliganism that took place in the stadium, I find it incredible, these things happen in a first world country, the lack of maturity is unbelievable , that the fans act worse than wild animals.

Colombia beat Uruguay 1-0 in their Copa América semi-final on Thursday despite being reduced to 10 men before half-time in a game that ended with ugly scenes as players entered the crowd to confront fans.

Jefferson Lerma’s header booked Colombia’s title decider against the defending champions Argentina.

I was quite hopeful that I would see Uruguay meet Argentina in the final match, but what I expected was actually the opposite of what is happening now after Colombia was surprisingly able to stop the other favorite team in the semifinals from reaching the final at this time, the results of the semifinal match yesterday between Uruguay and Colombia, it seemed make that Argentina percentage as the favorite to win at this time began to decrease drastically, because after all, Colombia looks very promising to be able to provide fierce resistance to Argentina in the final round,  I was personally quite surprised by Colombia game in the semifinal round who were able to appear effective even though they continued to be under pressure from Uruguay.

Colombia's fans are fierce. And here are the full ten fans of Colombia. To be honest, I really didn't like the Colombia team's performance even a few years ago. This team plays very aggressively. Fouled a lot. Now it seems that the fans of Colombia are also very fierce.

As far as I know Uruguayan players family members have been attacked by Colombia fans. This is very unfortunate. It can never be justified that they will abuse or attack the opponent just because Colombia won the match. It is also natural that the players of Uruguay are involved in this quarrel . Uruguay definitely looked like the better team, and yet they still lost and that's a bad thing but we just need to accept that we are not going to end up with anything that will be all that easy to handle. We should probably realize that it is going to take a while for Uruguay to get better.

They had one of the best tournaments they had in a long time, and with Brazil being bad, they could have won this game and be great and maybe even beat Argentina in the finals, would have been hard but not impossible. Whereas, now they have to watch the finals from afar. I still think that Argentina will win the whole thing, it will not be that hard, and looking at how they are going to face an "easy" opponent, they should be able to get it going.
