Here we go for the Bronze final between Canada and Uruguay, the both teams have come to far to this stage, they really had a good fight among themselves to make it here, I respect teams that took part in semi final because it was a journey of many but only this four teams make it, Uruguay in my opinion have chances of winning this match, but let wait and watch the game starting in few minutes times.

Suarez played the biggest role behind the victory of the Uruguay team in this game today. Because the game was a draw until the 80th minute and the Canada team immediately went ahead with a goal, but then in the extra minute, the Uruguay team scored a goal again and Suarez equalized the game.

But the Uruguayan team went ahead and won, as the experienced players in the Uruguayan team did not miss the penalty. But Team Canada missed the penalty and Team Canada lost. After a long hard work, the Canadian team has reached such a conclusion, where the favorite supporters of the Canadian team have cried a lot.

The Canada performance showed yesterday is the kind of performance they were supposed to show against Argentina in the semi-final, although Argentina is a very strong opponent Canada's performance was not good in the semi-final, although it is not an easy thing to beat a strong team the performance Canada showed against Uruguay is very impressive, they should try next time as they lost throughout the tournament without winning any anything in the tournament.

Nobody underestimates Canada but for me Uruguay is too strong for Canada who at the moment is just lucky.

Uruguay have already missed you opportunity to get to the finals to battle with Argentina for the title of Copa America so they will try to make sure that they at least have a medal to show for the performance the team have had in this competition this year. Canada surprisingly have found themselves in this position, had it not been Argentina, I am sure they would have have a way through to the finals. I will not be surprised in any way if Canada pull a shocker.

Finally, Uruguay succeeded in getting a medal to get 3rd place in the final round which was previously very tense because Canada seemed like a club that was really very strong, whereas at first I doubted the club.
After Jonathan David scored in stoppage time I was a little frustrated as the score was 2-1 and it was a surprise when Luis Suárez saved for Uruguay to end the match at 2-2 and continue the game in the penalty round.

I'm a little surprised that Uruguay doesn't seem like it used to be, even being beaten by Colombia was something very disappointing and that's all because Uruguay is not as strong as before.
In terms of ball control and attacks, Canada and Uruguay were more likely to have difficulty in this match.

Maybe my bet went really bad because my prediction lost but honestly I had other options that made me win.

Tomorrow, the final match of the Copa America will be held where Argentina will face Colombia. In the past seasons we have seen Brazil and Argentina dominate but this season Argentina are in a good position but Brazil has already exited this tournament long ago. Colombia seems to be a very strong team in this tournament of Copa America and they have been performing consistently so the match against Colombia will be somewhat difficult for Argentina. But the team with Messi and more world-class star players should definitely go ahead and win another Copa America title. Well, it's very hard to pick which team is gonna win the final of Copa America. Argentina leads statistically. But, there is no a big difference between Argentina and Colombia. They're having strong defense and attack. It's hard to predict it. But, i know one aspect that Colombia lacks which is lack of collectively. If Argentina is always playing collectively. And  Argentina intensively pressuring their opponents through short pass - direct attack. That's why im rooting Argentina to win the game against Colombia soon. The only problem for Argentina that must be anticipated is Colombia's attackers.

Many underrate James Rodriguez as an attacker. But, he could surprise us anytime. Luis Diaz also poses the main threat for Argentina. He is fast and strong. I don't see other players than James and Diaz to be the biggest threats for Argentina. That's why I have reason to say Argentina will win. They have better defenders. There's is also Lautaro Martinez along with Messi.

All in all, various aspects suggest me to root for Argentina to win the game. 2-0 against  Colombia.

Congratulations to Uruguay for winning the 3rd place in the 2024 copa America. It was a match to watch, full of moments and intensity, in the very early minutes of the game Rodrigo Bentacur strikes first, well it didn’t take Canada that much time to e equalize with Ismael Kone scoring a rebound from close range, just a minute later Pellistri of the Uruguay team score but the goal was ruled out due to offside. The first half ended in a draw but you can’t take anything out of the match. Before the first half begins Uruguay make four changes with Luis Suarez also coming up for Darwin Nunez, the second didn’t come to a spark until at the 80th min when Jonathan David slot in a strikes from close range giving the Canadians a priceless lead and on the merge of making history but their Dreams where shattered on the 90th minute is when Luis Suarez receives a good pass in the box as he makes no mistake from close range too. The matche ended in a draw as the match went straight to penalties.  

Uruguay won the match on penalties with 2 of the Canadian players missing their penalties, which result to just 4 players having had to play just four penalties which they all scored and Uruguay been crowned the 3rd place champions of the 2024 Copa America tournament.

Even though they weren't able to win the America's Cup, even though they weren't able to get third place, I still think that Canada did very well in that competition. If before this World Cup started, someone told me that Canada would be able to finish in 4th place, I wouldn't believe that person, I would say that that person has no idea what they're talking about. because before this competition started, I looked at Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela as the likely teams that would occupy positions 1, 2 and 3. But Canada surprised me by managing to reach position 4, something that not even Even Brazil couldn't do it.

Personally, I've already bet on Argentina's victory because I believe Argentina has what it takes to win the game, but it won't be an easy game for Argentina, Colombia has been a nightmare for Argentina in the last 5 games in which both teams have played each other, so example:

Argentina 1 - 0 Colombia (Argentina won, but only managed to score 1 goal, fortunately they did not concede any goals)

Argentina 1 - 1 Colombia (the game ended in a draw, but Argentina won on penalties)

Before 2022 there were 3 games in which there were 2 draws and 1 victory for Colombia, since 2022 Colombia has improved a lot and this will be a big problem for Argentina, but even so I already bet that Argentina will win

Frankly, I was quite surprised with how this match went because I thought that Uruguay would get an easy win in this match but, what happened was that Canada played quite impressively and they were able to provide fierce resistance to Uruguay. Canada could have won this match if only they could have played calmly toward the end of the match, unfortunately, they looked very nervous when facing pressure from Uruguay, and that actually created an opening for Uruguay to get their goal.

Both the teams have been playing very well since the group stage in Copa America 2024. Argentina have been in very good form recently and they are the reigning World Champions and Copa Champions. Canada managed to make a comeback after falling behind in the 8th minute through a goal scored by Bentancur, but Uruguay managed to show its class after managing to equalize at 2-2 through a goal scored by Luis Suarez in second half injury time. Finally, Uruguay managed to secure third place after a 4-3 penalty shootout, Luis Suarez was Uruguay savior and he deserved to be the star in this match. Third position is very appropriate for Uruguay because they were expected to appear in the final against Argentina, but due to the defeat to Colombia, Uruguay had to fight with Canada in the battle for third place.

This is the final match, where both teams will be very careful when fighting on the field. One mistake can have fatal consequences for the team that makes it. Even though Argentina is actually superior, what is certain is that Colombia will not just give up. There was a battle of tactics and strategy in this final match, Argentina could have let Colombia control the ball more like when Argentina played in the World Cup in a crucial match. or, Scaloni took the initiative to choose his team with a direct attacking pattern from the first half whistle. I do not think that Canada has what it takes to beat Uruguay, it has to be a huge shock for something like that to happen, and even bigger shock if Colombia could manage to beat Argentina, I give them less than 1% chance, won't happen.

In theory, it should be easy for Uruguay to beat Canada, but there is a possibility that the Uruguay players will not play as usual after the riot that occurred against Colombia.

Now we are left with Argentina and Colombia, To my own observation Argentina are the favourites to win because they have that potential to win it, one thing I like with Argentina is that they don't underestimate any team, they always play as if they are playing with a team stronger than them.

The match between Uruguay and Canada was very interesting because both teams were very serious about the game, and both teams wanted to finish in the third, The match ends a draw and Uruguay won the match in a penalty shootout, even before the match I predicted that Uruguay will win the match and that is what happened, although it was very tough for Uruguay because Canada is very serious in the match and they scored a leading goal in 80 minutes which make me feel like Uruguay is going to lose the match and after 90+3 minutes Suarez turn up and score to equalize for Uruguay and Uruguay win at the penalty shootout.

I wasn’t actually expecting that kind of performance from both teams because some times, players see a third place play off as unimportant game. It was a different approach yesterday from Canada and Uruguay as both teams played with high level of seriousness. Although, I did not expect the game to end up in penalty shootout having placed my bet on Uruguay to win in a regular time of play.

I have observed how most games played in this tournament ended in shootout and I come to a conclusion that no team is small or can be underrated in football. Canada displayed impressive performance from the beginning of this tournament which I actually least expect from them. Congratulations by the way to Uruguay for winning the third place in this year Copa, I believe they can go farther next year.

Frankly, I was quite surprised with how this match went because I thought that Uruguay would get an easy win in this match but, what happened was that Canada played quite impressively and they were able to provide fierce resistance to Uruguay. Canada could have won this match if only they could have played calmly toward the end of the match, unfortunately, they looked very nervous when facing pressure from Uruguay, and that actually created an opening for Uruguay to get their goal.

It's very clear that if uruguay's team was exhausted, and Bielsa was the main cause of it. Uruguay could win the game easily, but due to the fatigue, and they played bad enough in this game. I appreciate that Uruguay won the game against Canada. It was very hard for Uruguay.

A small criticism for the Canada coach. If he was smarter, Canada could have used the momentum. Uruguay's players were tired. They could have put more experienced players in. But, the problem is Canada has too many young talents. This made them struggle to beat Uruguay.

It saddens me to see how Bielsa runs Uruguay players ragged in this game. It's very obvious that the Uruguay squad was getting exhausted. But, it's necessary for Uruguay to be placed third.

And I must also appreciate how Canada finished at the 4th place. Never expected this to happen with Canada.
