I really appreciated Canada's effort in the match for the 3rd place to tell the truth.    They played fearless and could have even won without extra time and more. But Luis Suarez's life saver in the stoppage time led to Uruguay's finishing Copa America as the 3rd.

As a footballer who is still active and still a mainstay of the team, it can be said that currently Suarez is very dangerous as an attacker and the proof is that throughout this season he was able to score 14 goals in 20 matches with Inter Miami, entering the age of 37 of course he is at the end his career as a footballer but so far it seems he has not announced his intention to retire from playing.

Honestly speaking, the performance of Canada national team in this summer's Copa America have been very surprising if you ask me. In a competition that involves some the best football nations in the world, they were still able to reach the last four and if not for Luis Suarez's 92nd minute strike, Canada would left the tournament with the bronze medal.  Despite not winning the game last night against Uruguay, I think the Canadian players and technical team will leave the tournament with their shoulders high because of their unbelievable performance in the competition.
Tonight, we watch the two finalists Argentina and Colombia trade tackles against each other and just like bookmakers have predicted, I think it's going to end in favour of the Argentines but that doesn't mean that Colombia can't pull a surprise

The match between Uruguay and Canada was very interesting because both teams were very serious about the game, and both teams wanted to finish in the third, The match ends a draw and Uruguay won the match in a penalty shootout, even before the match I predicted that Uruguay will win the match and that is what happened, although it was very tough for Uruguay because Canada is very serious in the match and they scored a leading goal in 80 minutes which make me feel like Uruguay is going to lose the match and after 90+3 minutes Suarez turn up and score to equalize for Uruguay and Uruguay win at the penalty shootout.

I wasn’t actually expecting that kind of performance from both teams because some times, players see a third place play off as unimportant game. It was a different approach yesterday from Canada and Uruguay as both teams played with high level of seriousness. Although, I did not expect the game to end up in penalty shootout having placed my bet on Uruguay to win in a regular time of play.

I have observed how most games played in this tournament ended in shootout and I come to a conclusion that no team is small or can be underrated in football. Canada displayed impressive performance from the beginning of this tournament which I actually least expect from them. Congratulations by the way to Uruguay for winning the third place in this year Copa, I believe they can go farther next year.

It is often said that 3rd place is usually more glorious than the second place, because there is always joy in the faces of those that win the 3rd place, while those that finished second always end the tournament with tears and regrets. That's why Canada and Uruguay gave their all in that particular match. Yes it's third place but they are going to win bronze medal. They wanted to finish the competition on a high note and give something to their fans. Sometimes when it comes to international football, each country wants to defend their flag and maintain bragging rights. The players will also want to entertain the fans who have sacrificed everything to come and cheer up the national team. That was why the game was so spectacular. Canada of late are proving to be a strong team, they want to change the narratives of how people have been viewing them when it comes to football. If they continue to develop the way they are going, they will lift the Copa America in the nearest future.

Yeah, it's really unexpected to see Suarez scored a goal, Uruguay still not yet able to lost Suarez, they still need him. Uruguay deserved to finish in third position, although they're struggle to win.

Uruguay did try to score a goal when Colombia only have 10 players, Uruguay completely dominate the match in second half, maybe it was a mistake to not replace Nunez with Suarez, Suarez was playing as a defensive midfielder in that match.

Tomorrow the final match will start, I'm still hoping Colombia to pull upsets.

Canada looked a little nervous towards the end of the match, if they had played a little calmer by staying focused in their defensive area or changing the game to a defensive one, maybe they would have secured the victory they had achieved.

I'm actually surprised they managed to score 2 goals against Uruguay and furthermore to push the game towards penalties so they should be pleased with their achievement and their football style at this Copa America. I can also say that Canada has currently a way better football than USA and that was not the case before this Copa America.

Now , I must also congrats my favorites Uruguay who got 3rd place after a long break of actually achieving anything at Copa America and if Bielsa stays with this team , I'm sure next Copa America might be with them in the finals and even lifting the trophy.

It would definitely be entertaining to see a team defend a reigning champion and it seems that Colombia has the capacity to do that they are going to need to try and recover as much as they can physically after their last game and then they can have a chance against Argentina.

I know that Colombia has tried so much in terms of reaching were they are now on the league but don't you think is too much to expect Colombia to win Argentina team? Since then I believe there will be a great competition between Argentina and Colombia, the Argentina team is quite useful for the present time. But in this case the Colombian team is more powerful so the game will be played full of competition between these two teams. Tomorrow, the final match of the Copa America will be held where Argentina will face Colombia. In the past seasons we have seen Brazil and Argentina dominate but this season Argentina are in a good position but Brazil has already exited this tournament long ago. But the team with Messi and more world-class star players should definitely go ahead and win another Copa America title. Colombia has a great defense. They managed to block all the attacks from Uruguay on the last game, even with one less player on their team. They don't have the best of the offensive teams, but it's a solid balanced squad which doesn't lack quality in any positions. In my opinion a balanced squad is better than having an offensive one, but without any defense in counterpart.

I hope Colombia wins, but the odds definitely don't worth. It's too much risk for a 2.6x profit. If odds were 3x or higher I would consider it a very good opportunity to take the risk. Anyway, I expect a balanced gameplay with some exciting surprises.
