I would say this is not entirely accurate, a first timer in gambling and the luckily scoffing out a win are not those that get addicted, but I will say addiction is caused on the kind of mindset you set out to it. The fact is that gambling players are actually made like that. the point is to keep thinking about luck. if they win, they will think they are lucky. and if they are losing they are made to think they are unlucky, so that's when gamblers think that if they are unlucky now, the next try will be lucky. that's the cycle and will continue.
