There is this part many gamblers fail to see, if many people win from gambling, I think we will have testimonies everytime but it's only few and it's only when they win they post about it and when they lost, they don't post anything. That's tell us how careful we should be if you are thinking of making money from gambling, the rule should always be bet responsibly.

People are happier to share wins than losses. If someone sees someone else being lucky, we as people who see it should make ourselves aware about that. even if we play, maybe we won't be able to win like the people who share their wins on all social media and even in this forum. I see no issue in trying to gamble and make winnings but I see the issue in trying to gamble sentimentally. There must not be any emotion in our gambling lifestyle and it is better that we do not emulate anyone or be envious of any person to the point that it will now affect our gambling life and pattern into pushing us into what we didn't plan. This is very wrong, even if a gambler loses, it is not in the right context for such gambler to continue to play emotionally if they do not have their plan already set. This is what causes most of the losses that people will be crying foul. What is peculiar with all these gamblers in this category is that they are acting based on emotion, which must be stopped by being disciplined. First time winning is indeed a trap. Once a friend introduced me to a gambling site that pays. At first I was reluctant to try it out but after some time I decided to give it a trial. Hahaha, but that kind of mindset nowadays is not only for beginner gamblers but also for gamblers who have been gambling for quite long time and there are still many who think the same as what you have said.
It just that in my opinion it actually still depends on their goals and ambitions in gambling, even if they get beginner win or beginner luck, if they have the right approach and goals then they won't gamble any longer.
But I really agree that beginners are people who are very easy to get addicted to, not only winning but losing will also be very influential for those who are still beginners.
Beginner gamblers still have quite curiosity about gambling so they will be much more concerned with being able to fulfill that desire than stopping when the time comes.

Maybe more precisely is easy to say but difficult to do   I think this problem is no longer strange, some gamblers try to build a plan at the beginning along with applying some limits for precautions to minimize the number of losses is not too significant, on the other hand I think it's a pretty good plan for an approach, but unfortunately it is not uncommon or even very many of them who in the end when facing real situations they break all the promises they have built at the beginning. yep, beginner gamblers dont immediately become gambling addicts when they get their first win or first loss, but if from these 2 situations beginner gamblers are still determined to bet to chase losses or chase wins, believe me, that's an early sign of addiction even though they're not 100% addicted.
perhaps of the majority of novice gamblers there are only a few who are able to control their emotions but of the majority of others they as novice gamblers fail to control their emotions or greed at the start of their gambling and several times I have found novice gamblers who often win but they continue to bet every day for get the same results and for me this is the first sign of an addicted gambler because his thinking has been dominated by winning and the happy sensation when he wins.

Those people will become addicted with gambling who are greedy enough and consider gambling as primary source of income. But i agree with op that first game win is trap cause thus casino and gambling websites authorities try to boost gambler confidence and make them assure that, they could win more if they keep playing continuesly and thus people start playing more and more they lose. They try to recovery and so they inject more money and they lose big amount and they again try to recovery and thus this process keep continued and a gambler become addicted. Although everybody aren't same. Here I'm guessing about the facts behind addicted gamblers
