I would like to point out something about exch.cx, The exchange was founded somewhere in 2016 2014 and not 2023 if you look at how old their ANN is and the profiles that represent them in this forum. For some reason, they abandoned the old domain they started with exch.cc and now use exch.cx

How many instant exchanges have a letter of guarantee feature? I did not notice that it was accepted by the exchangers as an important part of the business.

Yes, it now is. Thanks for the alert, but it would really be fair to acknowledge that they have been operating for over a decade now. Not so many privacy-oriented exchanges have gone that far.

How many instant exchanges have a letter of guarantee feature? I did not notice that it was accepted by the exchangers as an important part of the business.

Perhaps they deserve an honorable mention? 

You never know which other privacy leaning instant exchanges they could inspire. Of course, the likes of fixed float are just rubbish.

Personally, I think it should also be a standard process for instant exchanges, especially privacy leaning ones. Otherwise, with so many phishing sites around, how is a disgruntled user going to prove that they deposited in the right address?

.cc or even .cx ... are not popular enough domain extensions, so even the registries did not keep them but released them for new registration. For example, for some .net domains I abandoned 10 years ago, one registry is still holding on auction.

I have some domains for crypto sites that are no longer in use, and this is what I do personally - the reputational damage from dealing with phishing sites is not worth it.

There are various and justified reasons why someone just left a domain.
For example, when exch registered the .cc domain for the first time, it is possible that they used their personal data during registration or even payment. Over time, it turned out that it was necessary to remain anonymous in that business, so they decided on a new restart. This includes terminating all connections with the .cc domain.

Just remember some mixers that, despite having a functional business, stopped working immediately after the arrest of the founders of Samurai wallet. The only logical explanation is that they were not completely anonymous when starting their business and did not want to risk a similar scenario.

That is if the website is active and in use then it renewal should be either yearly or annual. And in most time website developers takes the yearly plan to host their website. And depends on the storage capacity of the website. The cheapest hosting plan in my location last year was $4

If the other sites are also important, the developer or the owner of the website will not allow it to expire before renewing the payment. But if it is not important then what you said is okay.

When a site was inactive for years and came back and change domain name and most of the features immediately then it should be under investigation. If it is only the features and not the domain name then we can say they have come back and they are upgrading the sit to meet up the modern plugins.

I see some exchanges which have the pairs I am looking for (xchange and chainswap). They also claim that they do not collect kyc data.

I will try them in a few weeks when btc price goes above 100-105k again.

As an independent entity, they do not require KYC, but are quite dependent on their partners, liquidity providers. As all their partners are KYC mandatory, there is always the possibility of a KYC request.

It's not very useful to claim you're KYC free if you rely on partners who have a reputation of freezing unwanted transactions to perform your exchanges, or to function at all in general.

So unfortunately, they will have to go. Not through any fault of their own though. I just don't want people to get scammed by a site they found on BitMixList.
