I agree, everyone should be responsible for their actions, and it is clear from the photo that this young man knew what he was doing. I watched interviews with different gamblers and each of them admitted that they have suicidal thoughts in their lives. Nevertheless, of course, this is not a reason to end your life. Probably, in order to do this, you need to either have a predisposition to it or have mental abnormalities. I've seen gamblers with debts much bigger than in this news, and they don't focus on it. They live and smile. Nevertheless, this news is another reason to think about where the desire to take risks without measure leads.

It will be a cowardice behavior to take your life because you’ve lost some money to betting. It has been always said several times to use the money you can afford to lose while betting. It is highly recommended to gamble professionally and responsibly, meaning: gambling is fine, basically never gamble with other people's money or loans anywhere and don't gamble using your salary or other money for family needs or personal interests, don't ever think about spending money and so on.

Maybe you think that's a small number, $3K. But, for people in countries with low economies and incomes, collecting that much takes more than a year.  Maybe he couldn't tell his family about his gambling losses. Or maybe he has used up all the money and savings he has. We might think that with his status as a businessman, it should be a small money. but we don't know, it could be a small business that doesn't have much turnover. or there is a possibility that he used business money for the gambling.

Apparently this is a true live event happened in my State this week and almost everyone is talking about it. The economy is in touch, and many start-ups and business ventures are not making much again because the customers are not coming again because they have changed their needs to alternatives, but I don't think gambling is the way out of this current situation of the economy. I think that man was dealing with depression and didn't speak and thought gambling was the only way to make it. I have such an amount of money, I would rather see it wasted in my account generating nothing than waste it on gambling that will take everything from me. However, I would love to see an audit and autopsy carried out on his body before they buried him so as to be sure about the conclusion of his death. No, I don't think so. Life is sacred, it should not be wasted even if we are in the downest of our life. Also, I believe it is the greatest sin of all and that's why I won't/can't do it.

$3k is not much that is true. But for some people especially those who are on a tight budget, this is an amount that might've been important to him. Maybe it was supposed to be spent on something important and he gambled it and lost it.
IMO, this is irresponsible gambling. He chose to try and double it or maybe even triple it in the fastest but riskiest way, he should've known the consequences before doing it.
When we step on the gambling habit we should already know that we are going to lose at a higher percentage than win. The house cannot just give away the money or else it will kill their business. When we accept that fact, it's easier to be a responsible gambler because we are not going to waste too much money that we know is just going to be swallowed by casino games.
