It seems that little by little brazil is losing its "nice plays" and "artistic football" characteristics. Are the big salaries spoiling them?

In round 23, scheduled for Aug/18, we will have some games such as: Palmeiras x São Paulo, Botafogo x Flamengo, Fluminense x Corinthians, Vitória x Cruzeiro.

What do you expect from these matches? I personally believe that Palmeiras, Fluminense and Cruzeiro have more chances of winning, as they are performing better in the championship.

Even though it's the most balanced league in the world, with several teams having a real chance of being champions, the games are awful to watch nowadays
It's a combination of several things in my opinion, such as fear of losing, businessmen having their owl players to benefit themselves in the future, players who are more concerned with their social networks than playing soccer, and of course, the majority of players going to play in other countries to earn in dollars or euros

But I think the biggest culprit is the coaches who prefer to play defensively for fear of conceding goals and end up not being able to attack and have very uncreative teams.

Even though it's the most balanced league in the world, with several teams having a real chance of being champions, the games are awful to watch nowadays

It's a good observation, the good free-kick takers have already retired: Rogério Ceni, Marcelinho Carioca, Marcos Assunção etc, just to mention the ones who played more in the Brazilian championship
I don't know the real reason, but all those mentioned spent hours and hours training, even after training, and often helped their teams with very important goals

Week 21 has finished and we will wait for the next week match to see how the competition for the top of the Brazilian Serie-A standings is.
Flamengo who previously topped the standings had to be willing to drop to second place because of the defeat they experienced and Botafogo got big win and made them able to save 3 full points to shift Flamengo position in the standings.

Surely you remember (or know) that one of the most bizarre is that their best Brasileirão campaign to date was also the most painful of all for their fans... In 2023 they had the best first round in history, the title seemed be guaranteed but then... one of the worst second rounds in history made the team lose the title.

Now in 2024, the black and white team has already returned to first place... not with all the glory they had last year, but it's still not possible to bet all your chips on this leadership.

Believe it or not, but what is clear is that you have to admit that from the beginning of the competition until now, Botafogo has shown quite good performance and it can be said that they can meet the expectations of all fans by achieving more wins to temporarily top the standings.

Corinthians qualified for the quarter-finals of the Copa do Brasil yesterday by beating Gremio on penalties after the match ended 0x0 just like the first game

I had the displeasure of watching Corinthians' two games against Gremio, and in two of them not a single goal was scored, teams playing very badly, without creativity, without courage, without playing to score goals...
At the moment only Palmeiras and Flamengo are managing to stand out with more beautiful soccer, because the rest is very difficult

Sport Club Corinthians Paulista football team won the match by 3-1 ratio.  The score of both teams was equal  and the result of the match was decided on the basis of  penalties. That was a match of Copa do Brasil and we watched the match in the Couto Pereira stadium. That was a round 16 and Sport Club Corinthians Paulista team became successful but the stat of Grêmio FBPA team  was brilliant because their shots were on target and passes were also more in number and  that were 369 and pass accuracy was 74 percent. But Sport Club Corinthians Paulista team is a lucky team and God helped him and they win the match by doing penalties. But I think win should be of Sport Club Corinthians Paulista because they are hard working players.

Rogerio Ceni is a good coach. He was a Brazilian champion with Flamengo. What he lacks is more experience, especially in team management. I agree with you that a team like Fortaleza should be champion. This would bring more visibility to the north and northeast regions of Brazil in terms of football. The only thing that is constant is change, So don't expect things to continue forever, The Brazilian side in the past have had their incredible football moment in history and leaving football to other side of league and country to equally enjoy theirs, where the Spainsh side in this
present decade has become the dominanting side in football, however, even as the Brazilian side of football are not in their very best form which the world used to know them of, this is simply because of the set of players that Brazil got at the moment, so I still believe that there will be a time in the future where they will have another fantastic football moment.

Between Copa America and Brasileirão, I'm more entertained by the brazilian championship. I remember watching the final between Argentina versus Colombia in Copa America and how boring that match was to watch. On the other hand, Brasileirão's matches have much more action, although a large percentage of the shootings are missed by the players. It's still exciting to watch, though.

Hardly ever I've followed a competition in the same intensity I'm hyped right now about Brasileirão. I'm happy to see Botafogo playing, and in special Luiz Henrique's performance, who is the best player of the championship at the current moment. There isn't a favorite team to win, nothing is decided, but to have your club among the top ones makes the competition more interesting.

Anyway, that is a very personal point of view. If my club wasn't playing well, probably I wouldn't be hyped about it. And that might also be the reason why other enthusiasts aren't excited about the championship this year.

Yes, I agree with your statement. The world of football is constantly changing and evolving. While Brazil may not currently be at their peak, they have a rich history of incredible football moments and I believe they will have another fantastic era in the future. Me too, I would never have imagined that it would be a 4-1 loss. The Botafogo fans I know are as if they had won a championship. I've heard a lot of jokes and received a lot of messages, lol.
