Fortaleza is by far the strongest team in Serie A right now and I don't think anyone can really challenge them for the title run because currently they sit at 48 points from 23 games with 14 victories already. They are followed closely by Botafogo on 2nd place but I really can't see Botafogo winning the championship because as far as I remember they were in Serie B a couple of years ago but still they have a very impressing run so far.

The only true contender should be Palmeiras but I have doubts they can keep up the pace with Fortaleza.
