For me, Palmeiras will be the Brazilian champion this year, Botafogo and Fortaleza were just some common distortions of the championship that probably won't last over time, Flamengo is already out of the game, for the football they've been playing they don't deserve to be champion, that leaves only Palmeiras, who will only lose this championship to themselves if they start to falter in the games..

Since Corinthians won't even be able to fight for the Libertadores, I'm rooting for Fortaleza, but it could also be Botafogo who win the Brazilian championship.

This reminds me of Botafogo, who had similar, if not equal, chances to these. And yet they let everything happen in the way we all know. I prefer not to believe so much in these statistics because in the end, it is the players on the field who make it happen.

I don't understand how Botafogo slipped their chances in last season or the season before that where they were comfortably leading the Serie A and at a certain point by 9 points only to lose it (I don't explain how) during the last games of the competition. I doubt players can lose a Championship this way without huge pressure from some other entity as this is the only plausible explanation to me. A team which leads comfortably cannot go down in such a dramatic way and in European competitions it never happens, if a team is leading the same as Botafogo was they never lose the fight for the title, for me something not known yet has happened, the same players that had dominated a good chunk of Serie A could not keep up, I don't believe this, maybe I am a doubtful person yet I think the Serie A was never lost like this before.

It's good that Botafogo is being underestimated. The championship is only won once it's over. Until there, players have to play each match as it was the decisive one for the title, doesn't matter how many points ahead they are compared to the second club on the table.

Teams which enter a comfort zone tend to lose performance, and when they try to revert the situation it's already too late, or the pressure over them is too high that they become emotionally annoyed and disturbed.

That said, Botafogo is playing a very entertaining soccer this season, thanks to its players who display chemistry in field. Arthur Jorge's management is also being very positive so far.

Haha no one expected Botafogo to be this good because in the last few seasons they were just team at the bottom of the table and were in the relegation zone but slowly improved significantly with the 2023/24 season they finished in 5th place and are now at the top to compete for the title.
Initially I thought no team could hold Palmeiras in the course of the competition but surprisingly Botafogo was able to take over the top of the standings and have points advantage over the team that almost always dominates the Brazil Serie-A.
Now there are only 3 team that are close to the title and they are Botafogo, Palmeiras and also Fortaleza, each of which only has fairly small difference so it can be ascertained that all three are team that will compete and fight for the title.
But on the other hand I also quite impressed with Fortaleza performance which was able to survive and occupy third place in the standings, Botafogo and Fortaleza are big surprises this season.

In the "Brasileirão" Women's Championship, Corinthians beat São Paulo today and won the title for the sixth time!

Although they were the favorites, I believed that São Paulo would come back, but unfortunately (for me) the Corinthians' favoritism came true.

In short, it was a deserved result because even with the advantage gained away from home, they really entered the field with great determination and were dominant in the game for practically the entire first half, always in the attacking field and with more possession of the ball, so the victory was inevitable.

Congratulations to Corinthians for yet another achievement in the "Brasileirão" Women's Championship.

Now Corinthians will use the women's money to support the men's team and all the signings. Winning 6 times is not easy, they were really superior to São Paulo, and they only managed the advantages they got.

Unpredictable match between Botafogo and Fluminense until the final minutes. A very important one for both clubs: for Botafogo, the victory was essential to get +3 points distant from second place Palmeiras on the table, while for Fluminense it was the opportunity to climb up on the rank in an attempt to get out from relegation zone. After all, Botafogo did the unexpected in the final minutes of the game, thanks to Gregore and Luiz Henrique who were in the right place at the right time. Gregore took the ball from Fluminense's defender close to the rival's goal area, sent to Luiz Henrique who didn't have to make any effort to score and guarantee the victory for Botafogo!

Anyway ,match was interesting and audience like that because all players tried well for their teams but Botafogo football team was in good form . Henrique did goal in this match at the 95 minutes when his team needed that and captain of Botafogo team manage the captaincy with care .The possession percentage of that team was good and that was 51 percent and their passes were also more in number and that figure was 424 in comparison of 411 passes of Fluminense team . The fouls of Botafogo team were more and that was negative impact on fans.They should avoid from fouls but they gave 17 fouls and  Fluminense gave only 13 fouls and their shots were 13 in comparison of 9 shots of Botafogo team.

Last year Botafogo led the league by 13 points from second place
After coach Luís Castro left the team, it was a disaster.
The team was undefeated, without losing a game, and was a sure bet. Just bet on Botafogo and won the bet hehehe

Yes it seems so because I have seen his performance in some matches and I am surprised by his performance because out of all the matches I have seen he has played 5 matches.  And looking at his performance, I would also say that if he continues to play like this, he will be the champion of Brazil this year. I have seen Fortaleza's performance and their chances to win but I don't think so and Botafogo's performance is not better than Fortaleza because I have seen Botafogo. I don't think they will run to the champions. Yes Flamengo don't deserve this game as their performance is showing that now they win only 1 out of 5 matches and a team with such performance can never win the championship.

  No no now he will develop more and you all will see him develop.  If Botafogo performs similarly, I agree with you.  If you put palmerias' performance with Botafogo and Fortaleza, it's wrong because you also know how strong Palmerias' performance is at the moment.    And if you looked at their performance book, you misjudged Palmeria's odds of winning.

It's a good idea, but the money they receive from other streaming services for the exclusive rights to broadcast will be much higher than the money they would get from creating or having partnerships to sell tickets. I believe that's why it hasn't been done yet. But it's a really good idea and I'm sure that if the team can negotiate this with TV/Streaming services, it will be a lot of money.

for example, I've been betting a lot on the Portuguese championship and I can only watch it because I have a Disney plus subscription.

Globo is really very influential in football, even though it has given up other sports for other television channels, I am sure that it would not let football get away. Nowadays, contracts are made individually with all teams, the clubs themselves get good television deals with it and there must be some exclusivity clause in them...

I wanted to bet on this game but the match ended before that. In this game I was with Corinthians but when I saw the performance of the Sao Paulo match I knew that this match will be lost but when I saw the result of the match the match was tied with 2 2 goals and if I bet I would lose.  would go  I was considering Sao Paulo as weak but in this match I think Corinthians are weak because they have won many matches.  That's what I'm talking about.  And your prediction of this percentage has been very good compared to the draw.  And whoever bet on the draw would be very lucky.  But in this, Corinthians should have won the match even though they are a strong team in terms of matches.

They need to keep winning to keep the points difference in the league. Gremio, on the other hand, have started to perform well but are facing serious problems again. The defeat at home to Criciuma was very bad for them. They lost 3 points against a relegation rival and the problems started again. Botafogo are in great form and will want to start this game fast. They have good options in their squad. Gremio, on the other hand, continue their up and down form. They are struggling to get results, even when they score goals.

Even if I'm not happy about Corinthians situation , I must say I really enjoy watching Fortaleza playing whenever I have the chance and this is the game I'm watching instead of watching Real vs Altetico  .

I am a loyal Colorado fan, so I will always root against Grêmio in any competition, even if its against Botafogo (which I can't stand to hear my friends brag about).

However, Botafogo disappointed me today (and I doubt anyone would say otherwise). Vitinho always appeared as a good offensive option on the right side and really bothered Grêmio's defense, but I can't believe the large number of chances he had to just adjust the ball and finish... he made too many mistakes and certainly had many opportunities to beat Grêmio in this match.

My positive highlight in this game was Danilo, who managed to dispossess Cristaldo of Grêmio almost in front of the goal and prevented what I certainly believe would have been a precise shot into Botafogo's goal.

I am shocked by Botafogo, once again these guys will waste the opportunity to become champions, in the last 5 games they won 3 games and tied in 2 games, while their biggest opponent, Palmeiras, who were performing very well, recovered in the last 5 games, to the point of having won in 5 of the last 5 games and with that they are 1 point away from being able to reach Botafogo and looking at the next opponents that each of these 2 teams will have, I think that Botafogo will lose points, while Palmeiras will not lose points and will become champions again.



There are only 10 rounds left for the league to end, which means that each team will have to play 10 games. I highly doubt that Botafogo will be able to win the remaining 10 games. At most, they would win 4 and draw 2 and lose 4 games, while Palmeiras has a good chance of winning at least 6 games. For me, Palmeiras will be champion.

The situation is bad. Sao Paulo of course is in a better phase, but now every point counts to get away of relegation zone
I lost my bet but at least I didn't bet a great amount of money, only a few bucks
