Now the Egypt double profit promo looks extra tempting,,, but does anybody dare to bet against Messi?
Wins come and go So glad I did not bet against Messi,,, this guy, I do not know what else is to be said. Then again,,, judging from comments it seems they were all plotting against Salah's team, but so proud to lose 3-2 against the defending champions! France vs Morocco is coming up. France is the better team. But if they don't find a way past Morocco then FIFA will.
Agree about this. You just know the only way Morocco qualifies is if they beat by 3 goals margin like Belgium did against USA, so in reality maybe 5 goals since FIFA will help to rule out 2 minimum

Understand the frustration towards seeing on some decision they made and there are times official are inconsistent. But its maybe to much saying that FIFA have an intention to help Argentina to win. Because referees are also humans and even how long their experience they can still make mistakes. Understandable that when emotion is high lots of people notice easily those controversial calls. Especially if their favorite team is involve.
Argentina may benefit from those calls, but there are times that they also receive miscalls on other matches which against on them. Instead of thinking about there's favoritism happening. Its better to look at that referees could not make perfect judgement and this is happening on almost all tournaments. But this is what FIFA need to improve to avoid any controversies.
I am neither Egyptian, African, Arab, or anything like that, but I call them as I see them. That was far from objective refereeing last night. FIFA and corruption go hand in hand. Argentina was also protected in 2022 when they won the world championship because of Messi. Iran was severely punished and forced out of the tournament. They were treated as criminals throughout their short stay in the US. Croatia was punished because FIFA wanted Cristiano to go through. Tomorrow, it's Morocco's turn. I expect France to beat them fairly on the field, but if it becomes difficult, expect the fair FIFA referees to step in.

If we were to say that mistakes can be made at any time and by anyone, however, this particular mistake was indeed advantageous to one party, and this wasn't the only time it happened. It's understandable that some would say it was orchestrated, because if it were a coincidence, it would be too coincidental. We are now in the era of football, where technology is expected to reduce errors on the field. FIFA, in this case, appears to be adopting a double standard in its decisions, and this hasn't happened just once or twice. For example, the rescinded red card was the first of its kind during the World Cup, and it sparked controversy.

I watched the Argentina vs. Egypt match, and the replay clearly showed that Attia fouled Lisandro Martinez. Without that foul, he wouldn't have been able to launch Egypt's counterattack. Although they are letting teams play rougher and more aggressively at this World Cup compared to previous ones, so due to this officiating style, many started interpreting that episode as a routine collision. But in my opinion, it was a foul. Where the officiating was definitely controversial was the France vs. Paraguay match. I don't think I've ever seen refereeing that terrible. What's more, the bad decisions were entirely against France, when it was the Paraguayans who should have been punished. So, in my view, saying that the refs will favor the French in their match against Morocco is highly reckless.

I expect France to beat them fairly on the field, but if it becomes difficult, expect the fair FIFA referees to step in. I see that, my friend. There were many irregularities in the group stage alone, especially during Argentina's match against Algeria. Furthermore, in the matches against Cape Verde and Egypt, it's even clearer that FIFA is truly betting on Argentina's victory. I also recently heard several reports on social media that France has filed a protest with FIFA regarding the refereeing. The referee for the France vs. Morocco match was from Argentina, originally a neutral country, but FIFA suddenly changed the referee. With this news, I'm even more worried that France will become a hindrance to Argentina in the final. It's possible that FIFA will send France home tomorrow instead of Morocco. FIFA knows France is on a revenge mission for their defeat in the 2022 World Cup Final in Qatar.

I wouldn't go so far as to say FIFA is directly helping certain teams like Argentina and certain players like Messi, but they are 100% indirectly helping them through shitty VAR decisions, red cards for small fouls and water breaks out of nowhere. It's common sense at this point that FIFA is the most corrupt sports authority among all sports, but they fell even further in my view thanks to helping out the orange clown and overturning that red card against Balogun. Smh!

Buddy we are not living in fair world, that is why we have wars all the time in many countries. This is nothing new for FIFA and UEFA refs have their favorite teams, and only few corruption scandals were ever exposed. I still think Argentina was better team in match against Egypt, Messi missed a penalty early dont forget about that.

As long as the Humans officiate football games then there is always a chance of corruption and favouritism. This is common in football and even other sports but this one that happened with Egypt is just too obvious. I just wish we could have a fair game of football always and whenever such things happen they should be investigated and exposed. To me Egypt was the better team that day, they were not as strong but they played with dedication and the mindset alone was everything. They also scored 3 goals but got one ruled out. I believe if not for the favouritism they should have had a good chance at qualifying.

I would like to have the old football back as mistakes could be made by human but in the past, football was very human and emotional too. While with VAR, there are still mistakes, intentionally or unintentionally it's a controversial matter, while football with VAR nowadays has less emotional moments than in the past. I don't like it, especially with a fact that mistakes still exist and sometimes VAR by unknown reasons was not used to detect mistakes of referees and correct them as VAR should be used for. Egypt actually performed impressively in World Cup 2026 and it's the best World Cup tournament ever in their nation history, so they can feel super proud of that. Result can not be changed, and how VAR has been used recent years is very questionable.

VAR has taken that original emotion out of the game forever. A team scores a goal, the refs see nothing wrong with it, everyone is celebrating and is happy, and suddenly there is a VAR call. After two minutes of checking the footage, they find that the tip of the goal scorer's knee was in an offside position when he ran and received the pass from his teammate. After that, the referees cancel the goal. Ridiculous. I have seen goals cancelled because the forehead of players were slightly protruding over the line that the VAR draws. There have been cases where a part of the shoulder was offside. In one instance a goal was cancelled somewhere because a bulge in the shorts was offside. Does anyone think Morocco has a chance at qualifying?
They have been great so far but France has performed even better. The Dembele-Olise-Mbappe trio is simply excellent. It's going to be interesting to see if Saibari will be fit enough to play for Morocco tonight. That will have a big impact on their offensive game. Objectively, France should prove to be the better of the two.

France remain so dangerous then seems hard to defeat. Chances of Morocco to win will depends if Hakimi and Saibari are fit and their other key players also plays so well on that match. France may prove that they are better, but who knows maybe Morocco will upset them on their match.

How can you even compare Morocco to Belgium, and USA to France

Totally agree, France really has a great squad and performance, also they are dangerous for any team. They have players with a very unique style of play, no wonder France has one of the smallest outright odds compared to other countries right now. Not sure Morocco can take the chance to win this time, since they will face a France squad that is one of the best right now.

Placed a multi bet on all European nations to move forward provided that there is no more indirect help from FIFA towards Argentina in any form. France, Belgium, Norway and Switzerland look like they won't slow down anytime soon in my opinion.
Mbappe vs Haaland would be a proper semi final or final if they end up clashing later on. Personally, I would like to see a new country win the trophy for a change.

I haven't read anything about Hakimi not being fit for tonight's match. I think he will be there. At the same time, the chances of Saibari starting from the first minute are dropping. Wow! You bet on all of the underdogs except France. I don't think I would have the guts to bet against Spain. They look better and better with each match. I don't believe that football is coming home for the English, but I am also not sure Norway is good enough to throw them out of the tournament. I am not going to comment on the match involving FIFA's favorite nation. Oh shit, I just did.

Damn it! We received big free bet for Rainbet Road to Glory competition and we already blew it away on France vs Morocco match. One of our team members wanted to play on over 2.5 cards in the match and we only saw one yellow card this time. I never liked betting on cards, bookings or corners, and I wont be doing it again.
