I only tell my wins and losses to my close friends, I never tell my wins to just anyone. Apart from that, I also share my wins on this forum, I think it's fun to share wins and there's no harm in sharing a little wins on this forum.

the bad impact when we tell other people wrongly about our victory is that they can become jealous and we will be shunned by them.

Personally,  I think it's not a bad idea for people to share their success stories in gambling with others but because of the fact that different people have their different ways of reacting to such stories, keeping your success story in gambling with yourself is the better.  To some  gamblers, immediately they hear other people's gambling stories,  they begin to gamble uncontrollably in their quest to also succeed in gambling and in most times,  it makes them to become gambling addicts while others try to know the exact  strategy that was used by the person who's sharing his success story and responsibly put them to practice.
