In regards to upping your chances of winning something big, gambling every day is surely better than gambling once a year, BUT, and that's a big "but", you have to consider how much you are spending on your gambling too. If you buy a lottery ticket for $2 once a year, you can afford it even if you are a poor person. But if you buy several tickets each day, or play slots  or whatever kind of gambling you prefer, spending $10-$20 on that every day, then even if you are are not poor, it can be problematic.
