There's no valid formula in betting, some people have win really long coupons, white some have won short and few selections. There are some similarities between picking bets and buying into shares on the stock market, however you're actually up against a much harder contender when choosing to place a bet. I thought that you're talking about parlay. But I don't think that there is a difference whether you do single bets or do it on a parlay. The chances of winning will remain the same but it's just harder with parlay. So, avoiding the discussion about parlay and moving to the single bets and what you're describing here is about the consecutive bets and that's gonna reduce my chance of winning, but how? I think if I understand it right, it's about how many picks/bets not with many choices per bet. IMHO, if it's been said by an expert/s it's better to put that link or case study to solidify and back that claim about the reduced chance of winning when you pick a lot of bets daily. To see on how it reduces the chance of winning and that's another knowledge that we'll learn and gain.

It's not parlay so just in general spreading your bets across various matches instead? I'd say that's common sense really. It's not even a matter of not being able to analyze all games, just the fact that your money is spread over various games already screams of reducing the profits you could possibly gain. Whoever thought of this probably mistook his gambling portfolio for his trading portfolio really.

We should value quality over quantity? This is only workable on the grounds that our staking power is very high. You don't expect a gambler whose staking power at most is $10 to be picking a single game with an odd of 1.20, how much are you expecting him to win as profit from that bet. But if it's from a high staker 1.20 odd with $100-500 stake can bring out something meaningful for a gambler that's ain't greedy

Parlays betting may be very hard to avoid because many gamblers uses the parlay as a means to increase their potential winning due to their low staking power.

Most punters I gave seen only know a handful of teams really well.
Yes ofc there are people that will know every little detail about their country's top tier and perhaps even second tier leagues by heart.

I keep on doing that for a while and then realized that it gave me nothing but upset on the consecutive loss I suffered.
