Initially before this forum , I was active in trading crypto which sometimes my analysis will enter for me and I will make some money and at a point the phobia of loss enveloped my thought and I stopped trading crypto because of series of losses but when I joined the forum ( bitcointalk) I read a thread that talked about patience and that all the newbies should Hodl coins instead of trading and that they should go through what the high ranked members post before making their own post and after going through series of threads I decided to read as much as I can and to hodl as much as I can and now all my technical analysis are going towards my direction and the chances of loss has reduced however, I thank all the High ranked members for their advice and at same time ,I urge all the newbies to be patient enough to read more post before posting .

Hmm, I've been quite active on social media for a couple of days due to my serious health conditions because there's nothing to do for me and I cant sit for long, due to all these circumstances was just spending my time on the reels and Instagram, I'm following my trading analysts and on social media as we recurrently get the reels and posts relate to the interests. Haha after all this explanation I was just trying to say that I've gone through a reel where I recalled something that on X, Y plane there just 4 possible scenarios for a trader, BP, BL, SP, SL..

BP=Big profit
BL= Big Loss
SL= Small loss
SP= small profit.

On the trading end relating to the topic, if you re not patient then ear you are never gonna skip that BL and never gonna have BP. So patience & discipline are the key to success in trading or in any field of life while achieving a goal.

there is nothing wrong with holding or trading, the most important thing is how a person can determine which is best for him, whether holding or trading, and how much risk he can tolerate.  because investing in bitcoin is not just about being patient, but also the holder must understand how they can do that and how they can determine how much and how long they will hold the asset before they will finally sell it to make a profit.

Dear Holding has less risk and trading is like gambling which has a high risk of losing funds. If you do over trading you will washout your net portfolio and if you are a good trader you will make good money out of it but the same thing I will repeat again trading is more risky as no one can predict the market 100% accurately.

On the other hand, holding has less risk of losing funds because you only sell your asset when you reach to desired points or you can even set your pre-selling order on exchanges like when the price hits your points your asset will automatically sell by the exchange feature that is why holding has less risk.

A person can increase efficiency and make thoughtful decisions and strategic plans due to his calm demeanor. Patience acts as an influence in moments of great uncertainty. Some newbies may not understand this, but if you truly believe in cryptocurrency, you must be patient. No matter how hard you try to succeed in life, without patience, you will never get what you want. Many people don't think that patience is the key to success until they witness someone who has practiced it succeed; at that point, they will begin to complain and feel envious that someone who is just starting out has succeeded; those who have succeeded will turn against them.

There are reasons why a lot of people quit this forum: they lack patience and view it as a place where they can come and start earning money whenever they want. They don't think about anything other than making money on the forum, and everything you do has a stage where you can join a campaign and get paid, but you have to rank up first, which is the thing that affects the most people in this forum. Thank God, you are aware that being patient is the key to success in life, and you will never regret joining this forum.

in all this what you have to understand is the principal and the techniques of trading first that is why it is advisable for someone to learn and they understand the procedures of trading before they can be able to raise a big amount of money for their own personal trading, lose is what everyone experience in trading so therefore you have to advocate to learn trading because if don't do that you will continue to lose.

Trading is risky not only for newbies but even for those who are also old in crypto space. One thing with trading is that you'll eventually lose your money if should continue trading. No matter how good you think you are or how well you think you are getting profit, if you should compare the amount you have lost and the profit you have gain, I bet your lose will be more. To escape from this lose, you must exercise patience and hold your coins for a long time in order to make good profit.

To hold your coins, you don't necessarily need to have deep technical knowledge like trading where you need to have a very good understanding of technical and fundamental knowledge before you begin. Having technical knowledge about crypto is good but the most important thing you need to know is how to secure your wallet after you already have the idea of what crypto is all about and the risks involved. It's good to hear that this forum has served it purpose to educate you and help to avert the loses.

If you talk about patience, yes it (patience) is the key of success there is a proverb. So not only in trading but also at everywhere in real life we should have enough patience.

patience is real power if you do trading, emotion is the number one thing if you want to trade, especially with derivate products like futures. if you can control when to take profit and when to take the loss I think you gonna save in trading,

but personally I would prefer to do spot trading than derivate product like futures or option it much saver to trade without leverage IMO

True, but this is very evident if we trade 3 days ago, for example for Altcoins like CTSI, today the price just started to rise and so did the others. So, the point is that not only is patience needed when buying, you also have to be patient, don't buy blindly, that way we have a greater chance of making a profit in trading if we know how to analyze the market.

Well, that will depend on the type of danger you're referring to there. As youngsters we were told that when we dilly-dallied on things, they could've dire consequences. As an adult, I've grown knowing that to be true. Exercising patience or being patient doesn't cut across all walks of life. There are areas where that will become a disadvantage. It's just like telling someone that one's a risk taker. Yes, it's good to be a risk taker but there are certain risks that will seem tomfoolery when taken. That also has to be put in context like the patience thing.

Trading doesn't necessarily mean that you always buy and sell, sometimes we also need to hold. If you are doing trading in real life, you know when to hold and when to let it go. In my life, not all of my trades went successfully because for some reason and sometimes I sell my coins even if I lose some rather than waiting for long and getting nothing.

There is always a reason for such a thing and this implies how important to learn to hold and become patient because never controls the market movement. This is not just for newbies but all active traders as patience is the key to success.

Dear Patience is the key to managing risk and risk management is the key to success in the crypto space. well If the person doesn't have patience and keeps making impulsive decisions he/she will destroy the net portfolio so in this case it is the best option to follow the trusted and well-experienced person in your circle if you do not do that so those days are not so far when you will see your portfolio ending and you you just have to repent.

I'm even more concerned about your experiences during the times you were still trading... If I'm quoting you directly; you said you normally made money from those little analysis, why did you stop?.. if you weren't fearful up to the time you started trading with a real account, what later triggered your fear?... Cus the forum being INFORMATIVE on HODLing rather than trading didn't trigger your fear, did it?

It often happens to me that I buy as many coins as I can and then they drop so low they can't even reach my buying price and then I have to wait for it but this wait is too much for me, I can't do it like this because I want to book my profit as soon as possible, so I think my method is not right because I would sold all the coins that are there, but still they give me a loss, so my personal opinion is that the person should be patient.
Then it will give more benefit more the thought.

Wow mate, that was one of a post. Did you forget to add your punctuations? You still have a lot to learn mate. You should try to use punctuations where possible in your post as it makes your write up easier to read. Both in trading and investing patience is required,  you can't have a good trade when you don't have a patience. The problem lot of beginners do have in trading is they just have the plans of making money fast from trading and with this mindset they end up losing money. It is not only in hodling that we need patience, we also need patience to learn trading very well and understand it better to have better trading. So far as crypto is concerned patience is very important tool.

There is nothing that limits beginners from engaging in trading, but there are a number of things that need to be considered because most beginners engage in trading without proper knowledge. Beginners tend to think instantly about making profits in trading because in terms of experience and knowledge they are still quite unfamiliar with trading. Therefore, forum users recommend Holding for beginners rather than engaging in trading directly, but it also depends on what coins you want to hold. For me, it is not a problem for beginners to get involved in trading because they can try to train their skills in the field of trading using a small budget first and if their knowledge and experience gets better then increase the trading amount to a larger one

Apart from knowledge, trading also requires experience so that people can handle the risk of loss caused by trading. I'm sure if someone doesn't have the knowledge and experience it will be quite difficult for them to handle the risk of losing.
