By joining the forum we can gain a lot of knowledge and yes you are right that patience is power cause if we have Bitcoins and then hold it for long then for sure we got a lot of profits in the future. like what happen to those hold Bitcoin in 2023 and then now almost 2x the price increase. But we are human and we felt bad once we are doing the same thing when holding a coins cause the price is volatile. which means there's a chance that the price getting lower and made we think that sell our coin's.

My own experience about trading these coins and my view is that, trading is a side gig not a permanent job, as the user doesn't enjoy health insurance or retirement plans.
Meaning, to have a side gigs, you need to secure a permanent job with a monthly or weekly payment, so as to trade efficiently, what makes a winner is the courage he possess, having a side gigs will go a long way in boosting that courage.
The second key element is patience; knowing about market flow is something that has to do with careful analysis and patiently waiting for the wave to come to you, heeding to the fact that you can't change the direction of the flow, so learn how to follow it.

What is it really?. Now this got me confused to be honest, some people and including myself would say, knowledge is power instead of patience is power. When it comes to trading, it is risky and it's not all the time you will earn profit but also losses. Even traders that have been trading far longer than you even experienced losing profit. As others have explained, holding crypto is less risky since it's only the value that decreases but the amount of crypto you have doesn't change let's say 1 btc is still 1 btc regardless of its value. Anyway, patience is virtue.

You are actually right that patience is needed in the industry to be successful, but I want you to know that patience alone isn't enough when it comes to Bitcoin investment, you might have the required patience but you don't have the source of income and an emergency fund to fund your daily lives and sorts out some financial pressing needs in your life.

So if you don't have emergency fund and source of income, you will be forced to tamper with your investment, and you will definitely eat it up bit by bit due to the fact that you don't have any other income coming in,  so patience alone is not enough.

I guess if you can afford and you are ready for small loses, small amount of day trading now and then wouldn't be a problem, especially if you have a lot of free time, and you are planning to do day trading with quite big amount in the future, eventually you will lose some, better to loss some money to gain some knowledge about trading then to just lose money without getting anything.

This is partially through, but to put more context I think what important is that, new member shouldn't pretend to know something that they don't and they just make some post that they are not actually understand.

  Patience is important since human beings are only a small part of this entire creation and we are just doing the part of job that is within our ability and control. We have the total control of the actions that we take and minimal on the outcome. We need to perform as per the conditions, environment, possibilities and within the total realm within which we are putting our efforts. We have little control over the thoughts, actions of other people as well as the way nature acts. Patience is the mindset that keeps at bay many of the notorious mental states like agitation, nervousness, anger, agony, instability etc. it is one of the virtues which does help us to grow mentally which means evolving higher. Holding is better and less risky for crypto beginners than engaging in trading, but I don't advise you to leave one for the other, trading can make you a whole lot of money too, the longer you remain a trader the more you will be good at it, so don't leave trading, keep holding your favorite digital assets but also keep improving your trading skills.
Trading is harder and time-consuming, but you can skip all the stressful parts and go for better trading tools instead of trying to do everything yourself, there are tools for buying and selling online, it will cost you some money but it will also pay off.

Nothing comes easily, to even be a successful crypto holder you must know where to invest your money and this doesn't just happen, you need to know how to pick good crypto projects, which is also risky, but it should be easier than trading for anyone serious about knowing how to identify a good project out of dozens of other bad projects.

Patience as been a tools that had been helping me to achieve things I have in mind with ability to get that done with time.

Patience is one of the most important attributes that we can think of. It is so essential that when you operate some system, you won't have a choice but having patience is not something that is learned it is already a part of us. It is just for us to bring it and exhibit it.  and it is a development program that we all have to go through. Even when trading or holding, you need to exercise patience to get truly profitable.

When bitcoin prices drop, a lot of people panic and do not want to be patient. Before you know it, they are already selling the decimals they have just because they can wait, and that is why many of them are not making money from Bitcoin because, immediately after the price is down, they are already selling, and that is not a good way to do business. especially when you want to do Bitcoin. The fact that you can not predict anything makes it interesting and if you have sold the one you have, then there is nothing else for you. If you are not the patient type, then I think you should look for something else to do with your time.

It is true that patience is key for many good things in your life, and it is especially clear now that we see see the effects of the culture of the immediate in children that aren't being educated in a way they can develop that virtue.

But too much patience can be dangerous too if you take into account that time is a very scarce resource in our lives. In the case of the OP and every trader who decided to hodl for the long run instead of continue doing the same they were used to, but it could've worked the other way too, and then you'd have lost 4-8 years waiting, instead of liquidating and employing that money elsewhere.

Of course, when in doubt, better be patient, but I wanted to share this different point of view with you.
