The dealer can ask or tell the players various things that will prevent the players from being stiff and too serious about the game. How can a dealer be silent? I have not noticed that before. But they can be silent and talk when necessary which means they are not talkative.

You are just right, it is not possible for a dealer not to be talking at all, they have to say something. If they are boring, they will only want to talk about the game that they are rendering to the bettors and not talking about anything else. I have not seen a dealer without talking before, they say something. But dealers can be lively than other dealers, just like we people are different. Some people can be reserved while some people can make anywhere they are lively. Dealer should be professional in what they are doing, but we still see differences in them. As for me I prefer dealers that talk more as well.

A genuine conversation never hurts no matter how long it stays so long it is found out to be genuine and can be confirmed, that is if it is a story that someone already know as genuine and you can relate with it by adding your own angle but if it is a cock and bull story, it is already frustrating.

So a little chicky conversation here and there by your casino host or manager or even betting agent spice up things and gives the betting a human face especially in offline gambling. In offline gaming house, this is one characteristics you see with the agents, they can contribute to discussion on games played previously when you ask them scores and what happened in the games but apart from the chat room in the online casino, I don't think there is a P2P communication .

One thing I dislike though is that oftentimes dealers have to pay attention to people that see the chat as a flirting app. I'm hoping betting companies would be more strict with that because these people are just cringe and I don't want to cringe when gambling.

It's all part of the act to get them hook. Selling the sexuality and flirting with thirsty simps in whatever way possible is a marketing strategy. I'm not saying it's ethical or moral but it's generally effective. Of course there will always be exceptions like you but there are probably 10 that would buy for every 1 outlier.

Evolution is putting modestly dressed dealers on its tables and from the looks of it there's no hint that they're counting on sexual appeal to attract players.
Meanwhile other providers even put dealers in bikinis lol. IMHO some providers need to step up their game and start delivering chat mutes to people that come in to flirt with the gambler because it makes everyone else's experience worse. Bikinis are too much for me too but you cannot have a uniform standard when it comes to this since these are private businesses. The "should" of one gambler doesn't necessarily it sits well with another. You just have to pick the casinos that meets your preferences.

I will never prefer a dealer talkative, not for any reason, and I do not think that anyone would prefer this because it can't add to you and it could be so annoying. Must they talk? Their talks are confusing at times which is why I prefer to have my cool head when gambling. One thing about gamblers that is unique is to have that neutral and refreshing head when they gamble, anything that is going to make it bad for me will surely be shunned without an apology. Yes, a human element would be good at least something that has something to say whichever topic the talk may go on. Just talking about current events on the news is already something that will make listeners aware of.

A lot of people today are forgetting to watch the news and getting it from someone via word of mouth is enough at least. The dealers don't have to make up stories but if he can make it funny, I wouldn't care. I have watched the worst on TV, nothing can annoy me anymore of this stuff.

it really depends on your mood on that day, sometimes you need to focus on your games and you don't want distraction from anyone. whereas, there are some instances that you want to have a conversation with your dealer. so this one, i guess, depends on a case-to-case basis. so there's no straight answer here because there are underlying factors that you can consider depending on the situation of when you play your game.

if you encounter such talkative dealer and you're not in the mood to engage in such discussion or interaction, i believe it is better to change table and see if it will do good on your mental thinking. because i can fully agree, that not all people can tolerate such dealers who like to talk much. i also know a lot of gamblers who prefer to play in silent mode. i think the silence can give them better focus on what they are doing.

Well it all about the entertainment so if the dealer can keep me entertained without trying to get me Carried away to lose why not, I welcome a talkative dealer at least the entire session won't be boring at all since we already know how some time those games can clogue our brains and at that point, there will be a need to get a motivation and enterment as long as gambling is concern.

It doesn't matter to me if the dealer is talkative or not as long as their actions aren't annoying at all.

If I found a dealer as talkative, as long as the subject just makes sense or shares a gambling-related experience or might be talking about its previous players on the table or game audiences, it's fine. But if it's about politics, religion, or family problems - that requires another place to discuss.

I don't think there's a silent dealer. Dealers are supposed to pull up some talk as what they worked for is under the entertainment industry.

Does this really need to be asked? I don't think so... People have different stereotypes -- some could be clingy and some could be bored if they've got so many people around them... I wouldn't prefer having my dealer being a talkative... There's always a certain level to where he/she would need to understand that my personal space is meant for me alone.
it's always really annoying to engage in unnecessary discussions at the moment of loses - most people are not proned to controlling their anger issues so there's a possibility that someone flairs up... Building a good relationship with your dealer would also be as better anyways!!

It depends on how these dealers deliver their message. Some dealers are good at entertaining players and that means they know their role aside from managing the game. A silent dealer will surely be criticized by live audiences and that will the game even more boring to play and as a result, few players will only play. These players need fun while playing the game.

Although I'm not fan of live games but I think having a talkative dealer who is talking too much during the game will be annoying. As long as I can see, most dealer in live games do not talk too much or they can be said as a silence dealers. I do not think that it will fun for them to talk during the game as it can affect their concentration while doing their job as dealer. However it will also depending on what kind of live game we are referring to, my opinion is related to live card games such as blackjack or baccarat. Talkative dealer is needed on other games such as crazy time or other similar games.

If I had to choose then talkative really. I like it to my experience whenever I visit old-school baristas. Whenever there are not many customers I always try to engage in a conversation and they always return it back rather enthusiastically. Not that it happened all the time, but often enough. I'd liken that experience to whenever I gamble really since I feel like it just heightens the experience itself. Not to mention you'd probably have a few other players in the table itself joining the conversation. Might become a bit too intense at some point though but then that's understandable since it is still a game we're playing on.

Naturally, there would be instances that I'd like silence, but I prefer conversing more compared to the former. Kind of ironic if you consider it since I much prefer gambling online. Then again i guess I find my conversations online in a different way, e.g. discord with friends and the like.
