While on first sight the price funds thing looked cool, on the second it's not THAT interesting. If you have deposited money in your account you can't use those "bonus price funds" to buy into the comps since it's always deposit money first. So even when owning price funds, if you have deposited money and want to participate in a competition you will will use that depo money first.

In other words, you can only use/access the extra funds AFTER you lost your deposit. Of course it's also kinda cool to have the chance to use it to maybe win some of your lost deposits back, yet you need a lot of luck obviously.

They said they did this to also prevent hit and run loop — people depositing just to enter comps with bonus money, and then withdrawing their depo again after draws.

Is a adding a wager req on depo be a better alternative? — not low numbers ofc.

Dude, I mean as a promo it's nice but it's not a "generous offer". You can only use those prize funds after losing all your bankroll, not before that. And since so many of these funds are in circulation, there are also more tickets in the competitions which means your chance of winning automatically get much smaller.
I don't like the fact they don't even write this in their posts, you have to find out for yourself that you can't use the funds unless you bust your bankroll. Should be more transparent in my opinion.

See it for what it is, a smart promo for them, nothing really for the players.

What I wonder is, what's the plan with $CASINO points. I mean now we have this and there is also $MWIN points coming. Is there any info which gameplay pays what? I mean when you are having 2 different points or something there might be different requirements to get them.
Also, there haven't been updates for $CASINO or did I just miss them?

I might be late to the news, but this actually sounds like good news. I’ve been waiting for this because the last launch didn’t really last long, maybe they weren’t satisfied with the results either. With this upcoming launch, I’m expecting something more appealing. UI is probably not an issue since they’ve already proven they can deliver a solid one. What I’m really interested in is whether the odds will be better compared to other providers. That’s what will really matter for me.

Yeah, there should be an allocation for NFT stakers as said by Skel some days ago on discord. I honestly don't think there's not gonna be an incentive for the NFT stakers.

Yeah, there should be an allocation for NFT stakers as said by Skel some days ago on discord. I honestly don't think there's not gonna be an incentive for the NFT stakers.

Ow I see now they changing the ticker from casino to metawin. This is pretty much good to know as a metawim nft staker this will have some allocation later on their launch. Considering that there are only few collections and holders I smell it will have a good rewards later on. I locked mine for 12months so I believed the longer period of staking might boost the token allocation.

So long story short, it appears a high roller got a $30K bonus, ran it up to $360K, and withdrawn.

Later, he redeposits, but couldn't withdraw no more as he maxxed his limit. Red room VIPs have $150K + their depo 24 hour limit. Side Note: I'm unsure if his limit was increased the first time as MetaWin claimed he has withdrawn $360K prior or perhaps the $360K was split in a couple days?

So he requested his withdrawal limit to be increased, but MetaWin told him to just wait for the 24 hour reset. He couldn't so he ended up zero-ing his account losing $250K

He went around on X.com calling out MetaWin/Skel over it. Skel wasn't fond of his approach, thus MetaWin parted ways with him closing his account—the player in question has no balance anymore from what I understand.

Skel decided to giveaway the $250K the high roller lost + $150K added on top, bringing the total to $350K to the community.

Let me know if I got anything wrong though.

What do you all think about this case? looks like the classic impatient gambler case which I've seen many times to count.

I actually followed it while it unfolded on twitter, quite entertaining. The 30k "bonus" was loss back by the way, the player in question was already down a significant account.
But yeah, there was a lot back and forth then following the whole "why can't I withdraw the full amount" saga, and now he is gone. On one side this is the type of player you want since he is giving a lot of action. On the other side of couse having to deal with a person that constantly complain to you personally and drags it all out in the open is a bit annoying.

Curious to see how they will spread the funds.
