Yea, this is true, as I have also noticed that over the little time I've been here, if you are chasing the merit, you can only end up not getting it, or even if you get it, it can't exceed a certain limit as the tactics you might be using might end up failing you, but when you are being your self-learning and contributing positively in the little ways you can, you can just see the merits coming even when you less expect them. I was given advice when I was coming up on the forum by one member whom I respect so much. The statement was, "Don't chase merit; allow merit to chase you."
Exactly. The people to whom I send merits, don't ask for it. They just deserve it, because they are good and helpful. They teach me and I show my gratitude. That's how it works.
Hahaha luxurious problems
.
you are a nice programmer apogio and definitely deserve the rank. Hmmm I guess i will do like you are aiming 😁 I will try getting to hero member merit before I get to senior member.
Thanks for the kind words. My point is, I am programming, because I like it. I do it here, so I can educate people and be educated by much better programmers than me. I always post "asking" for improvements from other members.
By the way, I only said that, about the rank, because it feels like a challenge, you know, trying to reach the necessary merit and then patiently wait for the time to pass. But as I said, there is no need to hunt merit, it will lead to the exact opposite outcome.
