Yikes. A day break turned into four but today am back, and did my 15. I should take comfort that it was 56 consecutive days... short of 2 months. I'm sure there will be many more unforeseens.

I try to figure out how to not take any breaks because it seems to screw up psychology and momentum, and so it just is not good, even though sometimes our schedules and activities will interfere with our abilities to easily do pushups.

In the past two days, I have been having pretty extreme leg and buttocks pain, and I am not sure the reason.  

Maybe my kinds of pains are similar to OgNasty... not that I am trying to have similar circumstances.

I recall that a few times (historically) I had gotten some variation of this kind of pain that I characterized as something like hip joint pain (dryness), but the type of pain that I have been feeling in the last couple of days is similar but not exactly the same, but I really feel it when I do my pushups, so I am trying to figure out a way to still do them - perhaps with more sets and fewer pushups per set.. and yeah maybe the overall daily quantity will suffer, but I am trying to make some kind of compromise that allows me to try to keep up the momentum.. and maintain the pushups as a priority even though there is some additional pain.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  Resist being labelled as: "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

@DirtyKeyBoard, I have been off this thread without dropping my reports but I have them written down so I don't know how you going to do it...was tied up with movement that's why I had to write it down and later bring it here....God help me, I don't want to be on the bench.

You can just give one push up report you can calculate all the numbers you have done previously together and just give one report, the script will pick the day 3 one because this is where you have your current report, like almost one week i have given no push up report i already have them in my book record and will have everything calculate together and from my calculation i have done 530 numbers of push up after six days.

I seem to find it hard to get all together, like how can we all know I followed the push up every day like i did it in day 1, 2, 3 and day 4? I prefer to drop it that way for clarity sake, I want it that way and doesn't feel right some times to avoid dropping your report for a long time and take one day to dish out all the reports for the other days you didn't drop a report... sometimes it doesn't seem to be true, just saying. So dropping a report every day is better and if you forget to drop a report concerning your daily exercises just have it in mind that you have missed dropping your report for that day and you continue from the next day, that's what I'd be doing than accumulating reports of days that have gone by.

Yea, that's just it, if we don't really figure out a way to handle things, we might slowly slip off the floor, where a day break turns into 4 days off just like buwaytress reported. It is just nature and nothing far from reality. Sometimes, it's me general body weakness and or schedule and activities just as you mentioned, which gives us the much convincing mindset to take a day or 2 breaks, and before we know it, our weak muscles capitalises on such opportunities.

I remember some months ago, when I left the challenge, though not planned. It just happened in the same way. Became so weak and tired, decided to take 2 days rest and resume thereafter. After my ret days exhausted, I received another level of weakness which I failed to fight, and then I increased the rest for more 5 days, making it one whole week on the bench. To end this non-proud of myself story, I ended up staying almost two months off the challenge and floor. Coming back to the game was a fight and also to climb my usual numbers too was another war because my muscles are already relaxed and adapted to the long away stay.

A serious injury and or ill health which is beyond my strength would only keep me away till I get better, else, I do all I can to stay put all day, challenging myself for daily fitness. What I do is, instead of me going off or taking a day or 2 days rest due to weakness or little pains, I simply cut down my daily routine and number, and or increase the sets while internationally reducing the number of push ups, that's if I still want to get the normal number for a day's push up, all depending my level of weakness or strength.

I would rather reduce number daily and still remain in the floor to keep fit no matter how little it is, than to take a break entirely when I can still manage the situation. I only do this to avoid slipping off the floor for days or weeks as it happened months back. It was really an unwanted situation.

Here is my report for two days. 240 push ups added, 120 for a day. This time, I took my normal push up pattern which is in 8sets for a day. 20×4, and 10×4, this it to ensure calmness, no much pressure and still get fitness daily.

Sir i want you to understand that you the first doctor of your body as while figuring knowing when your system changes, so at this note i will advise you to go for medical check up since you have similar pains with OgNasty and the doctor is in the right position to advise you on what to do so that such pains might occur again and you should not harbor such signs in system before it will be worst than this or better still since you have been observing that the pains do comes when ever you do your push-ups, i will advise that you should take a few days break to see how your body will react when you stay a few days without doing push-ups and thank me later sir.

Yikes. A day break turned into four but today am back, and did my 15. I should take comfort that it was 56 consecutive days... short of 2 months. I'm sure there will be many more unforeseens.

I try to figure out how to not take any breaks because it seems to screw up psychology and momentum, and so it just is not good, even though sometimes our schedules and activities will interfere with our abilities to easily do pushups.

In the past two days, I have been having pretty extreme leg and buttocks pain, and I am not sure the reason.  
Maybe my kinds of pains are similar to OgNasty... not that I am trying to have similar circumstances.

I recall that a few times (historically) I had gotten some variation of this kind of pain that I characterized as something like hip joint pain (dryness), but the type of pain that I have been feeling in the last couple of days is similar but not exactly the same, but I really feel it when I do my pushups, so I am trying to figure out a way to still do them - perhaps with more sets and fewer pushups per set.. and yeah maybe the overall daily quantity will suffer, but I am trying to make some kind of compromise that allows me to try to keep up the momentum.. and maintain the pushups as a priority even though there is some additional pain.

Sir i want you to understand that you the first doctor of your body as while figuring knowing when your system changes, so at this note i will advise you to go for medical check up since you have similar pains with OgNasty and the doctor is in the right position to advise you on what to do so that such pains might occur again and you should not harbor such signs in system before it will be worst than this or better still since you have been observing that the pains do comes when ever you do your push-ups, i will advise that you should take a few days break to see how your body will react when you stay a few days without doing push-ups and thank me later sir.

Most pains and weakness that come with consistent engagement in pushups are usually not an extreme conditions that would necessitate immediate doctor's attention. This is because most times, all we need is just to reduce the number of pushups we do by either reducing the number of sets we engage in or the number per sets daily. A conscious moderation of your engagement before, during and after the exercise would go a long way to save you the pain of staying off completely from pushups exercise.

Some reasons could keep someone out of the pushup exercise which includes, soreness or even sprained arms or at the extreme, dislocation and fractures. This is why we should listen to our body during pushups exercise. While pushing, pay attention to every part of your body. Sometimes you will notice that your body is shaking or you are completely exhausted, continuing to push after that stage is not a good idea. Once you feel weakness, stop and come back later.

Also, taking enough water and eating good protein foods could keep your body always fit and provides you with enough building blocks for your muscles and tissues. This would help keep a person on the floor with little or no extreme soreness that could require intense doctor's attention.

You can just give one push up report you can calculate all the numbers you have done previously together and just give one report, the script will pick the day 3 one because this is where you have your current report, like almost one week i have given no push up report i already have them in my book record and will have everything calculate together and from my calculation i have done 530 numbers of push up after six days.

I seem to find it hard to get all together, like how can we all know I followed the push up every day like i did it in day 1, 2, 3 and day 4? I prefer to drop it that way for clarity sake, I want it that way and doesn't feel right some times to avoid dropping your report for a long time and take one day to dish out all the reports for the other days you didn't drop a report... sometimes it doesn't seem to be true, just saying. So dropping a report every day is better and if you forget to drop a report concerning your daily exercises just have it in mind that you have missed dropping your report for that day and you continue from the next day, that's what I'd be doing than accumulating reports of days that have gone by.

The weather was so hot since morning that it was very difficult to go outside. If I had not woken up early this morning and completed the push-ups, my push-ups would have been incomplete. I took a shower twice today due to the excessive heat, but the main reason for wearing excessive heat could be that summer will go away winter will come.

Today I woke up early in the morning and completed push-ups. After finishing the push-ups, I went out for a walk for at least 30 minutes in the morning. Today I completed a total of 100 push-ups in 5 sets this morning.

I hope you get through that. It is really a world of different variations of pain the older you get, isn't it? I have found myself using quite creative words with doctor (and then we don't speak the same language natively).

But yes, the compromise for the momentum is important. I have compensated with longer treadmill, for example, or sit ups. Of course, not the same. Definitely feel the rustiness even with a 4-day break!

Yea, that's just it, if we don't really figure out a way to handle things, we might slowly slip off the floor, where a day break turns into 4 days off just like buwaytress reported.

It was a forced break, I didn't make it clear I guess in this post. The shoulder was jarred badly as I tried to break a fall instinctively and used the arm. Then found out when trying to do pushups it was impossible to complete even one properly. Ended up with other exercises, mainly to try and get the "safety" and "assurance" back in my socket so it doesn't feel like it will pop out when I push up. That finally happened yesterday, thankfully!

I plan to train until Sunday this week, barring any setbacks. I did a full-body workout again today.
I'll be making a protein-rich meal soon. Good training requires good nutrition, otherwise I'll feel completely exhausted and my day isn't productive.
I'm continuing to do 100-150 push-ups, and I'm no longer struggling. I'm doing them very easily. I did 100 today.

Today went very well. The reason it went well is that a fellow soldier in my camp was inspired by my push-up exercises. Seeing me, he tried to do a few push-ups. He did quite well, he did about 11 push-ups on his first try. I will try to inspire him about this. I am very happy today because he was inspired by me.

I took a rest day yesterday (not really but I didn't do my push-ups) as I felt like I needed it after some soreness in my chest.  I think I probably need to reduce the amount of weight on my curl bar.  My arms can handle it ok but it seems to cause me paid everywhere else when I go hard with the weights.  I guess in time it will get better but for now I think reducing weight is probably in my best interests, especially with regards to this challenge.  Sweating it out already today though and getting things done.  Smiley

Yikes. A day break turned into four but today am back, and did my 15. I should take comfort that it was 56 consecutive days... short of 2 months. I'm sure there will be many more unforeseens.

I try to figure out how to not take any breaks because it seems to screw up psychology and momentum, and so it just is not good, even though sometimes our schedules and activities will interfere with our abilities to easily do pushups.

In the past two days, I have been having pretty extreme leg and buttocks pain, and I am not sure the reason.  
Maybe my kinds of pains are similar to OgNasty... not that I am trying to have similar circumstances.

I recall that a few times (historically) I had gotten some variation of this kind of pain that I characterized as something like hip joint pain (dryness), but the type of pain that I have been feeling in the last couple of days is similar but not exactly the same, but I really feel it when I do my pushups, so I am trying to figure out a way to still do them - perhaps with more sets and fewer pushups per set.. and yeah maybe the overall daily quantity will suffer, but I am trying to make some kind of compromise that allows me to try to keep up the momentum.. and maintain the pushups as a priority even though there is some additional pain.

Sir i want you to understand that you the first doctor of your body as while figuring knowing when your system changes, so at this note i will advise you to go for medical check up since you have similar pains with OgNasty and the doctor is in the right position to advise you on what to do so that such pains might occur again and you should not harbor such signs in system before it will be worst than this or better still since you have been observing that the pains do comes when ever you do your push-ups, i will advise that you should take a few days break to see how your body will react when you stay a few days without doing push-ups and thank me later sir.

I am not going to take any major break (except I did adjust the quantity of my sets and i might make some further adjustment depending on how I feel in response to the adjustment and/or if the pain goes away), and I am not going to the doctor.  

Maybe i will try eating some bananas since monkey no cramp.

My hip, buttocks and maybe even joint pains are not just when I do pushups, and in the past 596 days I have had pains in a lot of parts of my body, and so far, I have not consulted with a doctor about any of these pains.

I don't rule out the possibility of consulting with a doctor, but my pains have not gotten to such a point, yet.  i might be inspired to look up some information on the internet, if I were to feel like the pains are persisting and whatever modifications that I make are not helping the situation.

By the way, many of us bitcoiners (pusher-upers) do not go to a financial advisor about our bitcoin either.. Go figure?
It is okay since you said that you wouldn't take any  major breaks, and you said that the pains has not gotten to the level of seeing doctor but with your explanation lately on how you are feeling the pains that is why i advise for you to seek for the attention of the doctor or better still you should reduce your number of push-ups that you do daily because it is not easy being consistent with your number of up to 592 days without experience pains because i can remember when i reached my 200 days the pains was much that i didn't wait for any to advise me to take break and which i later continue my push-ups when the pains has finally stopped.
