it might be reliable and more profitable sometimes but what if it is not everyone that want to actually hold because if they push all their funds to holding then what exactly will they use when ever they want to spend money, that is one good thing about trading you will one way or the other get funds why i said so is that their people that are fully rely on trading so if those people can actually keep up, just with trading then that will be better.  and those that are holding in very large quantity are very lucky. and I prefer quantity than accumulating gradually it is not really my thing so I will wait till when am finically buoyant.

I totally agree with you. Investing for the long term can give an investor a lot of peace of mind both mentally and financially. Day trading was really boring when I tried it and I kept losing capital every day but I finally dropped it from my schedule and opted for long term investing.

This is where many got it wrong, they tell that they're going to hold but they don't have concrete plans when they're going to take profits. It's understandable with those people that have said that it is going to be their retirement fund so as they hold Bitcoin and that's going to be what they'll be up to for several years, many decided to go for 5-10 years and even longer as long as Bitcoin still performs very well. But for someone who think of taking some profits, as long as you're up by 100% then that's already a decent time to take profit.

The others will be jealous with the profits of the others and they'd see it from the others that they've earned 100x-1000x and that's some thinking stuck on their mind. With that, they'd assume that they should also take profit when their holdings multiply that vastly. I never heard about waterfall network, is it lending platform for staking or any centralized exchange? staking is not an immediate income because you have to hold a minimum days like 7 days, 15 days, 30 days and a year, and staking is too low profits scheme. short term trader can always work in the manner that they just observe the market and setup their position and leave it, there's already measure to prevent from losing too much and measure to take profit at certain price point.
but yeah it's still pretty much observing market for some sudden news if any.
