It's not like Botev is forcing bitcoin down the throat of those who don't want it. No fan or player is forced to receive, pay, or engage with bitcoin if they don't want to.

They are putting it everywhere in front of their faces.
Bitcoin flags, logos and advertisement is everywhere on stadium and some people dont like that ans they are protesting against that.
I am not against Bitcoin but I can understand why they are doing that.

This made me think that this club is heavily invested in Bitcoin.  Probably they are doing this stunt for marketing and to expose Bitcoin more to sports people in order to have these people engaged in Bitcoin.  This club won't be doing this kind of advertisement if they won't profit from the marketing.  Despite that possible intention, I still think it is cool  .

Remembered something I had posted about several years ago with Bulgaria holding a vast amount of bitcoin.
And now they have a football club embracing it as a shoulder badge.

Botev Plovdid is a club in private ownership, it has nothing to do with Bulgarian government.

But still, the possibility of the club being heavily invested in Bitcoin is high.  They had been influenced by the Bulgarian government and the way they do the marketing and how they enthusiastically wave the logo of Bitcoin on their social media platform somehow speak for it, IMO.

After all, I can conclude that Botev Plovdiv has a good chance in the return match in front of their fans.

Yep, they were actually pretty solid and better than I expected so PAO won't have an easy job defending that 2-1 lead from the first game.

As you can see in the video, the stadium in Athens was half empty, but in the middle of summer and high temperatures, people are not really interested in football.

Various ways to express a community about what they like, and this time the football club carries a concept that has never been thought of by most people out there. This club is not only interesting but very unique and can present a bitcoin payment method with a product, be it a shirt or other type with the Bitcoin logo. Botev Plovdiv sounds strange because this club is not famous even though by carrying bitcoin it has become our attention.

Sportsbet is giving 7.0 odds on Botev qualifying for the next round, so I decided to go for it. I know it's a long shot (and I didn't bet much), but PAO didn't look so convincing, and Botev is definitely not without its chances on their home ground.

Having said that, I would still like PAO to advance to the next round so I can watch some good games live. Then again, whoever wins this round won't have an easy job against Ajax.

Panathinaikos stopped playing after they had 2-0 in the first game and probably underestimated them a bit which then gave more space for Botev and this might made them looked better than they actually are, while PAO took it way more seriously (+ Botev having some bad luck) in the 2nd game and result is what we saw.

This is not my favorite competition in Europe but it would be good to see how Botev Plovdid can do against Zrinjski in few days.

@notblox1, BP is coming to my neighborhood, and it seems that it won't be easy for them (again) considering that they are playing with Zrinjski from Mostar, who lost in the first game against Slovenian NK Bravo at home, but then won away from home, which shows that they have a strong character.

The interesting thing is that the current coach of BP is a former Zrinjski player with whom he won the championship in 2005 - he will surely be glad to return to Mostar after so long. Yeah, it is like killing two birds with one stone. This is a win-win situation as well because aside from their brand, we can see that Bitcoin is also being highlighted there. IDK if this club is new or unfamous because I haven't heard of this before but if it is, then I don't think what you said there is going to happen that users around the world are buying this shirt because if we are into this, we will usually check our favourite club first if they are also selling a merch and if yes, we are going to prioritize them but if they don't sell, then we may still not consider the others or until we get familiarize ourselves on them.

About the colour of the shirt, I think this is only common in a jersey shirt. No offense but even many of their design, type of shirt, etc.. are not that great in quality. IDK why but I guess it's because they are not like a typical shirt that we will wear when we visit the mall, hehe.

Than he knows the club Botev is playing against very well, and I think they will have advantage to win in two matches.
But I am not sure how motivated both teams are to play Conference League, maybe they consider it more as a friendly match to warm up for domestic league.

@notblox1, I cannot say with certainty, but it seems to me that both clubs have a motive to play in any european league, even if it is a Conference League - which still brings some kind of income for the clubs. Perhaps the better question is which of those two clubs is more motivated to go to that competition.

I don't know about Botev Plovdid, but for every club from Bosnia and Herzegovina, playing even in the Conference League is a big deal.
