I think you are misunderstanding the intrics of what is really being discussed, according to my understanding of what op said, I believe he did not mean; like we depositing our last cash, or call it the last money we have in our hands or with us; into the casino and using it to gamble, no, that is not what he meant if I understand correctly.

From what I understood, he meant like if you are already gambling, let's say you made a deposit of $100 into the casino, and started playing Slot, betting $1 on each spin, you played and lost $99, which means that you have just $1 balance left for one more spin, and just as you played that very last supposedly last spin, you end up winning (lets say) $200 or more - this has actually happened to me on several occasions, one happened to me even last week where I was playing Slot, and betting $0.2 on each spin, and just when I had about $0.22 left in my bankroll, which means I have just one spin left, immediately I played that, I won $10  , it's always an amazing experience.

However I was lucky to win a bet with my last stake some days ago and I am happy for that, that's why I have to bring it here let's discuss about it, whether you have also win some amount of money with your last stake. It is never possible for every gambler to get lucky while staking their last cash. That doesn't go well with me at all and besides, it is a very big risk. Indeed is a wonderful experience, according to the way I understand the op post.  op was trying to say , if one can actually bet or stake with his last cash with he or she that moment. Because according to his story he said he went to the casino , with $10 and he kept $1 separate for transport. But doing his section of gambling he endup losing the whole $10 , and the only cash with him then was $1 which was his transport . then he stake with it and he actually won.

But inother scenario where one don't have cash to spare in gambling, I won't advice such individual to gamble. Because the Reason the op was able to gamble with his transport, was because he had some backups in his bank account. Just imagine not having any and he endup losing all the cash he had that moment, he or she may endup being stranded and all that .
