I mean technically that's the same thing, so why would that matter? If you get 1 satoshi every 2 hours, or half a satoshi every hour, isn't that the same result? It would require you to do a lot more claiming if you do it twice, but that's the point of a faucet, they are giving out free money in return of you being on their website.

I agree with the replies above, (too many to quote) that the dust from faucets is not worth it. But since freebitco.in started as a faucet they might give it a second thought before shutting it down albeit temporarily till the price of Bitcoin comes down. I personally don't mind the faucet staying to stopping, I am more into the investment scheme for now. But a large number of accounts are only there to run the faucet only.

FBC survived as a faucet because of the gambling section and that is what they should focus on more from now.

I dont usually quote in entirety but in this case I have to underline its all correct.    Theres plenty people sitting round with time to claim on this faucet and every other faucet there might be plus enter every internet contest they possibly can.   Some people do all this, very often its during another job which has alot of wait times attached to it.
 
I dont have the same job now but even before Bitcoin existed I was collecting tickets on faucets, back then it was driven by advertising of some kind or another.   The amount of pop up adverts and aggravation of wading through spam just to register for a free lotto of some kind you wouldnt believe.  The internet now is alot nicer to users then it was decades ago, especially on the nice page loading and how rare down time is.

I made many attempts, and they all failed, but eventually, I got lucky and won enough sats to withdraw from freebitcoin. Nowadays, it's impossible to do such a thing because the site only gives out 1 satoshi per hour. It will negatively affect Freebitco if they increase the time of free rolls from every hour to every two hours. They need frequent freerolls to attract users and make them stay on their website for longer. If users frequently visit and stay longer on the website, they are more likely to gamble and because of the very high house edge of Freebitco, things are going to turn in Freebitco's favour.
We can't do anything against the rising price of Bitcoin. It's definitely going to affect Bitcoin faucet and dice games negatively but at the same time, it's going to positively affect their capital and price spike will help them to spend money more easily on development and marketing.

I agree, 1 satoshi every hour is still by far the best, but the cost of it could be quite large. However, we have no idea how many people still claim this everyday, like we have absolutely no idea how much this website spends on the faucet every single day.

For example, we see that they do give out a ton of money every week for lottery, and same goes for 200k per six months for lambo, and they are giving away 4% for the interest as well, all of these could be much larger.
