I was only able to withdraw free satoshis from freebitcoin once, and I didn't deposit anything for it. But it was back in 2019 when the faucet was giving out a lot of free sats. However, even that wasn't enough for withdrawal. I earned around 500 sats using the faucet and played multiply btc. I made many attempts, and they all failed, but eventually, I got lucky and won enough sats to withdraw from freebitcoin. Nowadays, it's impossible to do such a thing because the site only gives out 1 satoshi per hour. But even if freebitcoin gave out 30 sats per hour, I still wouldn't do it because it's a boring and frustrating activity.

Less than one satoshi? I would rather hope that they hold back the free rolls for the time being or increase the time interval between rolls - like once every 6hours or so and then adjust the payout rates to compensate for that.

That is if they want to continue the faucet since that is what freebitco.in has been always centered on. They can also temporarily halt the faucet but that might see a huge public outcry.

Overall, I am pretty happy with the bitcoin bull run and crossing of the all-time-high.

It will negatively affect Freebitco if they increase the time of free rolls from every hour to every two hours. They need frequent freerolls to attract users and make them stay on their website for longer. If users frequently visit and stay longer on the website, they are more likely to gamble and because of the very high house edge of Freebitco, things are going to turn in Freebitco's favour.
We can't do anything against the rising price of Bitcoin. It's definitely going to affect Bitcoin faucet and dice games negatively but at the same time, it's going to positively affect their capital and price spike will help them to spend money more easily on development and marketing.

It would be similar on the maths but it might not be the same on audience retention or site revenue figures etc.   Thats the ultimate judge on the faucet.   I would go with just more randomness but that moves it away from being a faucet so much.   The point of the actual dollar value underlying is true, base faucet amount was always a fraction of a cent not much.    Big problem see now is that just 3 Sat or any single figure really very much appears as a tiny amount so face value might alter things, its not changed otherwise.

I dont usually quote in entirety but in this case I have to underline its all correct.    Theres plenty people sitting round with time to claim on this faucet and every other faucet there might be plus enter every internet contest they possibly can.   Some people do all this, very often its during another job which has alot of wait times attached to it.
 
I dont have the same job now but even before Bitcoin existed I was collecting tickets on faucets, back then it was driven by advertising of some kind or another.   The amount of pop up adverts and aggravation of wading through spam just to register for a free lotto of some kind you wouldnt believe.  The internet now is alot nicer to users then it was decades ago, especially on the nice page loading and how rare down time is.

Creating a formal accusation is usually the quickest way to resolve these sort of issues when everything else has failed. I don’t know how much contact their campaign manager has with the team but in the past he has been helpful in helping people recover their funds when there was an accusation brought up against a casino that had hired him.

No, I leave that to the freeroll and faucet collectors, my reasoning is not about the value in dollars, but about what they know those satoshis are worth. I don't think the freeroll will ever go down below 1 satoshi anyway so at some point, people will be earning more than 2 cents. If it hits zero, well, then good riddance

It used to actually be profitable in the very early days. You could run a program to show you ads above your browser and earn $1 a day. $30 a month, doing nothing. It's the time consumption I never understand. People feel like if they spent 8 hours a day clicking and what not they can bring home $30, which yes it's even more money in a month in some countries if they work, but if you spend those 8 hours actually doing something useful for yourself. Read free books in library and teach yourself skills, for example. You could get a good education and get out of your misery.

Or, do 4 hours to earn the money you need and spend the rest improving, get a better job, earn more.

But most people don't see it that way.

If you are old enough, then you might also remember that Freebitco.in had ads space on their website and it was very cheap to place your ad on their website automatically after depositing some bitcoins. Then they removed the possibility of buying their ad space and put google adsense ads on their website, then they finally removed ads and changed their strategy. Those were very good old times when Bitcoin was still a new thing and many companies were trying to create a business that was exclusively using Bitcoin.

Btw there will always be a market for faucet but market is shrinking and in terms of quantity of coins, it's getting hard to give away something.

We as users here think that the number of faucet claimers on freebitco.in are small, but it is not so. A number of bot accounts and all are always trying to abuse every faucet out there, this one is not exception to their wrath. If they take such a radical step, then such account owners will start complaining.

Still I feel it is the better option to go for instead of shutting down the faucet completely. But ultimately it is the decision of the owners, they might even decide to just keep it running as it is and let the dispense amount reduce proportionally.

It could be that this possibility means that the claim quota is no longer every hour but perhaps increases it to around every 6 hours because the increasing price of bitcoin will not allow people to get below 1 satoshi, because bitcoin only has 9 decimal places, not more than that, so if you get 1 Satoshi may already be said to be very few, what if it's below that it's impossible to have it unless the site actually increases the claim interval as you said to 6 hours or 12 hours, that's also no problem, but it's best to just wait for an update, the freebitcoin team handles that.
