Buying the dip is never a bad idea in my own opinion, but let it never be at the expense of waiting for it before carrying it out, because by waiting, you are likely going to miss so many buying opportunities that would be available during that time of waiting, so constant accumulation is the best, and if in the process of accumulating constantly and their is a dip in the market, you can still accumulate it aggressively if you want, from your reserve funds, but their is no where it's written that buying the dip is the best, or a must. You just have to buy once your discretionary income is available, because as long as you are buying with the mindset of holding for a very long period of time, I believe that in the future, when Bitcoin has risen to a million dollars or more, this current price will look like a serious bargain, so buying now without paying heed to the price is the best, because waiting for the dip before buying will only delay your ability to get to your over accumulation status quick.
I agree with everything you said but I don't agree with buying Bitcoin with reserve fund because reserve fund is kept to face any kind of disaster. The future of a person is completely uncertain, no one can say that he can live his life very comfortably. If he buys Bitcoin with reserve fund now, then if he faces any danger later, he may have to break his Bitcoin which will be very bad for an investor. So a person should invest his extra money in Bitcoin whenever his discretionary income increases or deposit Bitcoin in DCA method.

truth is we can not use our reserve funds to invest or accumulate Bitcoin when we still have our discretionary income intact that is not advisable but in a situation whereby someone used up his or her discretionary income  and there is a Dip using our reserve  won't be wrong or bad because it is actually a left over also. Someone can use their reserve funds to front load or be aggressive where there is Dip and there is no discretionary income.

Buying the dip is a good idea because every investor targets when the prices of goods and services is on the low ebb before buying in a large quantity. Almost every investor invest with money set aside for that very purpose. Investors don't invest with all their money because that will be too risky. Reserve fund is for future use and that use can be investing in bitcoins, landed properties etc. what i will advice is don't use your salary for any investment that is long run rather save and set aside portion of your savings for investment.
buying the dip isn't a great or good idea for beginners or no coiner because it involves timings the market and waiting for a dip to occur before starting to invest . A low or no coiner isn't supposed to be timing the market before they start buying bitcoin instead once they are able to figure out that they have discretionionary income available to do so then they are good to start buying. Waiting for a dip to occur before buying will leads to waste of opportunity and not being able to grow ones bitcoin holdings consistently with time.

True, and it's not just for beginners alone dips are typical waste of time and opportunity when you lack the experience to perfectly time the market which is not the way for Bitcoin investment. Opportunities are meant to be taken as they present themselves that's why DCA strategy stands out among other strategies because it doesn't give room for wasted opportunities. There's no need to wait you just start investing straightaway. Buying the dip is not really suitable for beginners because they will find it difficult to differentiate between short time dips and long ones and also they don't have the experience to understand market movements and have low risk tolerance. A beginner trying to term the market to buy the dip might end up leading to wasting lots of opportunities.

How do you mean when you said that the dip is not suitable for beginners? Are you saying beginners are not suppose to buy during the Dip or what? The Dip is suitable for every investor be it beginners or old investors and the most important thing is having a good discretionary income at your disposal to take advantage when the Dip comes but waiting for it to come without accumulating or purchasing little by little is wrong and there is no need for an investor to be reasoning about market movement only traders should worry about that.

If you are still new to Bitcoin don't wait for the price to fall. Don't hold money for investment you should start accumulate Bitcoin by today. Because in future Bitcoin worth maybe skyrocket in future. Start accumulation Bitcoin with the amount of funds you have without any delay. accumulation Bitcoin based on your income through discretionary income. You don't know whether the price of Bitcoin will fall or rise in the future. Since this is an uncertain matter if you have the available funds you should start accumulation Bitcoin today instead of waiting for the price to fall. Use a long term strategy for Bitcoin investment because short term trading is one of the reasons why traders lose money. You need physical assets but it would be foolish in most cases to hold extra cash funds because inflation reduces the value of your cash funds so accumulation Bitcoin at regular intervals instead of holding fiat.

There is a difference between waiting and being prepared. I disagree that ignoring the price is always best. A serious investor should keep a portion of their discretionary income in stablecoins specifically to strike when the market provides a 10-15% correction. You don't need to use your emergency reserve funds if you’ve properly allocated your investment capital to include a 'dry powder' stash for these exact moments.

Buying the dip best fit for those that have gotten to their accumulation goal . Because they can choose to buy whenever they please cause they have already gotten to their accumulation goal , unlike those that are still new or  haven’t gotten to their goal , focusing on only the dip will only delay their accumulation progress . And as time goes market tend to increase despite the up and down movement . That’s why we have dca strategy to flow with the market volatility.

Every investment strategy is suitable for every kind of investor, newbie or not but to be on the safe side a newbie should try to stick to investing with the DCA, it's safer and comes with less mental baggage since it doesn't really bother with ehT the price of bitcoin is at the time of purchase and it doesn't really require a lot of money to start, if a newbie wants to start investing with buying the dip the. That will only be possible if that newbie actually started investing during a dip because once a newbie decides that they want to wait for a dip before buying then they are on their way to not invest at all and on the other hand while it's not impossible for a newbie to start investing with lump sum, it rarely happens so we see that most newbies start investing in bitcoin with the DCA method.

If it drops 10%, you buy, and then it drops another 25% . Then what will be your thinking . This is why keeping dry powder is possible, but it cannot be a baseline strategy. The baseline should be regular accumulation. Otherwise, people will delay buying and end up with no coins.

Waiting for the right timing to buy dip shouldn't be a worry for Bitcoin investors, it is basically what traders do who wants to patiently wait for the right timing to enter the market to buy at a cheaper price then wait for price to increase to sell and take profit. You need to know what you want in the Bitcoin market and if it's for long term investment then you should focus on DCA strategy both as a beginner and experienced holders. DCA strategy should be a primary method of accumulating Bitcoin and other strategies should be secondary. There is nothing wrong with buying the dip and aggressively if you have the reserve funds to do so but it shouldn't be at the detriment of your DCA strategy as a long term investor.

What you've said is a very impressive way of thinking about financial management when we're on the right track and it also serves as a foundation for one's future financial stability.

Buying Bitcoin is the right step for someone to achieve what they want. When faced with a price drop like the one we're experiencing the best course of action is to buy in any amount and maintain a reserve fund. It's best not to be influenced by our monthly or weekly income. Without this the buying process will hinder our ongoing efforts due to the lack of reserve funds. This income will be the main factor in meeting our needs.

what did you call them again? Newbies right?

That alone already explains a lot.. If someone is still new, it means they do not really have that solid understanding about Bitcoin investment yet..  Most of them are still trying to learn, observe, and even compare different ideologies..

So when you say you are still wondering why they act that way… hmm, it’s kinda funny because that’s literally what makes them newbies in the first place, they are still figuring things out, that is why most of them are here in the first place…

You're making a point, cause someone that's still trying to figure out what Bitcoin is about shouldn't just rush into it if the person haven't got a basic understanding of what he's going into, I don't expect that people should invest blindly cause they have their discretionary ready, such person could end up doing the wrong thing if he doesn't have a basic understanding of Bitcoin investment.
It would only be surprising when someone understands what investing in Bitcoin is all about, have the discretionary funds intact, but still skeptical about investing or choose to invest in a short-term period even after understanding that Bitcoin investment is best for long-term purpose.

why are you advising people to be timing market, dont you know how risky it can be. It is needless for newbie to be following this your advice of waiting and striking when market dip.

a newbie has small accumulation, so they should just focus on ongoingly investing with discretionary income and stay the hell away from timing market. Since they are behind in their accumulation, they don't need the dip to come before buying bitcoin in bulk, what they need is discretionary income

Waiting for a dip to occur before buying will leads to waste of opportunity and not being able to grow ones bitcoin holdings consistently with time.

I'm still wondering what newbies could possibly be waiting for when they already have their discretionary income figured out, the only excuse that will be considered meaningful is newbies giving excuses about not having their discretionary income figured out, as a newbie not having a discretionary income is the only thing that is suppose to stop you from not getting started but once you have this figured out then you have absolutely nothing to wait for than to get started as soon as possible because waiting to buy the dip is not an option or a good strategy especially for someone who is getting started with his or her bitcoin investment.

what did you call them again? Newbies right?

That alone already explains a lot.. If someone is still new, it means they do not really have that solid understanding about Bitcoin investment yet..  Most of them are still trying to learn, observe, and even compare different ideologies..

So when you say you are still wondering why they act that way… hmm, it’s kinda funny because that’s literally what makes them newbies in the first place, they are still figuring things out, that is why most of them are here in the first place…
Yes, it's natural for beginners to feel confused and perhaps take steps that seem good but are actually traps, such as waiting for a price drop to buy. I won't be talking about other people here, but I'll tell you about myself when I first started investing in bitcoin. At the time, I didn't know the difference between a trader and a long-term investor, so I thought everyone who bought bitcoin was the same.

But as I got deeper, I began to feel my direction and goals were unclear, as I essentially lacked a clear goal. So, after some research, I began to understand that the concept of long-term investment is very different from that of a trader. From there, I began to adjust my steps and become a long-term investor in bitcoin.

After that,, I was still confused about buying bitcoin: whether to wait for the price to drop before buying or what. At the time,, my logical decision was to buy when the price of bitcoin was falling. But it turned out my assumptions and thoughts were wrong,, because the more I waited, the more the price of bitcoin rose. So, from there, I began to understand that investing in Bitcoin doesn't require waiting for the price to drop.

The current price of Bitcoin could be very low. That's why I learned a strategy that allowed me to consistently buy Bitcoin, and I discovered the DCA technique that I use to this day. So, in conclusion, beginners are prone to making mistakes, but that's normal in the investment world. But what we need to do is help them as much as possible, such as by discussing things here. Trust me, discussions like this are incredibly helpful for beginners who want to learn about Bitcoin investment. That's what I experienced back then.

A basic understanding is very important to start anything in Bitcoin, and as you get more understanding, you will be able to hunger to want to learn more, which is exactly how it is supposed to be, because in this business, you need to have knowledge that is the starting point of everything. If you really want to be successful, then you need to do things even when they are not convenient for you, because that is one of the mistakes that a lot of people make.

And they also think some things can be guessed, they forget that things do not work that way. And they need to be ready to see if they will be able to guess their way out without learning, and people with this kind of mindset are not serious about anything.

And how I managed to know all these things is from learning, and when you finish learning, then you can start to buy, and even from learning, you can choose to have good knowledge about when to sell because you cannot hold forever; you need to find a way of making money from your investment and a way of investing through DCA and also to be committed.

A investor  using the DCA method in buying  and accumulating bitcoin is presented with the opportunity to buy more amounts of Bitcoin using the same amount of money during price dip. So buying the dip is not a bad approach for both beginner and experience investor it only become one if an investor  specializes in timing the market rather than sticking to it rules and investment plan.

Structure wise I think bitcoin will fall, however this is not a bad time to buy bitcoin for long term investments. Opinion is to buy little now and hopefully it goes lower you buy again. That way you get the whole trend and enjoy your investment

Timing the market and speculating on dips isn't a healthy way to start out your investment routines. As a newbie, every entry point you start upon is a good one and as long as you've discretionary income available and you're on a long-term holding plan. You shouldn't hold back in following up your investment with consistent buys. Bitcoin investment is for the long-term, so your investment would still get very profitable for you if Bitcoin continues to perform well.

The reason timing the market is discouraged for beginners is that you're inviting a trading mindset at a time you should be more focused as an investor and strive to build out a descent portfolio for yourself. Speculating too much on the price may see you inviting fear, uncertainty and doubt upon yourself and you may end up not buying at all and that means missing out totally on good buying opportunities and a chance to secure your financial future in Bitcoin.

Buying the dip is already is a form of timing the market, so there is no need of trying to separate the two... Newbies and/or one without a Bitcoin portfolio should stick to a consistent approach of accumulating Bitcoin like the DCA approach, instead of attempting to catch the dip....

Structure wise I think bitcoin will fall, however this is not a bad time to buy bitcoin for long term investments. Opinion is to buy little now and hopefully it goes lower you buy again. That way you get the whole trend and enjoy your investment

You cannot enjoy your investment when you settle with this timing mindset and/or being aggressive only during dip(when market price goes down).. You guys don't still get it that timing the market create hesitation to buy tmeven when the market dip, and it could eventually keep you away from Bitcoin investment and/or with little accumulation since no one knows when exactly the market will fall... It's better that folks invest as aggressive as they can when they have the discretionary income to do so, they really don't have to wait for the arrival of dip before they can buy and/or be aggressive..

For those who set long-term goals, it is definitely a mistake to wait to buy dips, we should buy dips only when we have additional financial benefits, or as you said, those who have already achieved their savings goals can buy dips as an additional benefit. But of course, for a new investor, waiting to buy dips is not a viable decision. The market will fluctuate, but we should continue to invest using DCA consistently, this is the best strategy, if we have additional benefits, then we can buy dips if we want while keeping DCA consistent, but by ensuring DCA first and then as an additional benefit, we can buy dips if we want.
